Once upon a time, there was a toilet paper and appliance part shortage between 2020-2021. It was a scary time, and one that I remember we had to unexpectedly replace our dishwasher after waiting over three months for a part that would likely never come. So, here we are about four years later and our slightly new-ish dishwasher is not releasing water all of a sudden. I go to Yelp and call Appliance Savers and Peter is able to come out right away. He spent his time dissecting the dishwasher to determine the issue. After a couple of very focused hours, he explained there was a part that could replace all three parts, in which one of them may be faulty. However, it was understood that it was better to replace all three as the error code wasn't clear as to which was the culprit of our main issue. He orders the part, comes back in a few days, removes the old part, installs the new part, and it begins to run as it should. It's been a couple of weeks and our dishwasher is working again, and we are so grateful! I also appreciated how kind and understanding he was of the situation. We had a clogged defrost drain in our 9 yr old refrigerator, and had one company "fix" it 18 months ago. Then it started happening again and we called our home warranty service, the repairman told us the warranty service would not cover the repair and we needed to empty everything out, and unplug it for at least 24 hours and it would fix itself! After 6 months of constantly having to monitor the ice buildup and removing it, we called Appliance Savers. Maria is very professional and courteous and set us up in a few days with Peter. Peter confirmed what we though and set to work to get the exact scope of the repair. He worked for a bit and fixed it, even showing us how the drain tube was filled with dust and dirt causing it to back up and not drain properly. Had some of the rollers on my Samsung dryer go south causing a horrible noise. Called and got an inspection appointment right away. Peter came at a time that worked for me, was professional and polite, and got to work. He found the problem was in fact two problems, and was able to resolve one right away with common parts he kept with him in his service vehicle. He then ordered the other part that was needed and contacted me within a few days to come finish the job. I was begrudgingly ready to buy a new dryer (which would also mean that I would need fork over enough money to get a matching washer as well, if I wanted to keep a matching set), as my dryer stopped working.
