I purchased a new LG washer and dryer. My dryer is making a noise and LG has sent this company to my home 3 times. The first visit they were very late to the schedule appointment window and the tech was rude and condescending and he didn't fix it. I called LG again and asked for repair and explained my experience and did not want the same company. They sent them again, same tech too with no fix. He was very reserved, my guess he was told of my complaint but still no fix. Called LG again because the issue has still not been resolved. Who did they send? Again this company. Each visit they can hear it and I have shown them videos but nothing gets fixed. Screws get tighten and the dryer gets leveled but no real fix. Frustrating to say the least and here I sit with a brand new dryer that squeals like it's on its last leg. LG said this is the only company as an authorized repair. I called my home warranty and who did they schedule to send? Yup this company. This time they were no call no show and we waited all day. Not the type of customer service I would expect and no one here has taken a genuine interest in getting to the root of the problem and finding a solution. read more

Except for the first interaction where they "told" me when they would set the appointment," it has been smooth sailing. I've had [Appliance Guru] them at home for a new LG refrigerator purchased through Costco. They have been on time, in fact, early, for all appointments, including today's handle replacement. I waited approximately one week for the replacement handle from LG. I don't blame Appliance Guru, as this is entirely contingent upon LG delivery. Although I am not the person who sets the contractor, I hope Appliance Guru is used if I ever have any problems with my LG products in the future. read more

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer on December 23rd of last year (a little over nine months ago). I came home Thursday of last week, and the washer was going through the drain cycle while off. I was booked with Appliance Guru via my home warranty for my broken refrigerator. Antoine was the technician who dropped by. He was professional and got the job done, although I wished he would go above and beyond to advise me on the hazard of my freon leaking refrigerator. Apparently, I tipped him as I usually do for any okay service. However, I had follow-up questions about the refrigerator, especially the freon leak. Whoever was on the phone and had been texting me was very short and rude. The undertone was along the line of "Stop freaking out! Get the fridge out if you're worried so much." My wife was pregnant, and it was totally legit for customers to have concerning questions. Whoever that was had no place talking to customers. In the end, as I told them I'd inform the warranty company about this behavior and I would not be able to give them a good review, the reaction was "that's your choice." Here we go, this is my choice. I'll duly call my warranty company to consider delisting this vendor to spare others from having a bad day. read more

My LG fridges compressor failed only after 2 years. LG sent this company out to replace the item. The company came out immediately and fixed the issue. Anton was the person they sent and we couldn't be happier. He was polite, attentive, and explained the problem. He also made us aware of LG's warranties which I was not aware of. LG is one of the few, if any has a 10 year warranty on their compressors. The first 5 years include labor and parts. I would highly recommend this company for all your appliance needs. Was recommended for my washer issues through home warranty. Someone was sent but because my work chedule and they do no work on weekends I was unable to speak to the tech. My issue was fixed except the other issue I wanted addressed was dismissed and gotten worse. No one answers the phine but communicate with you via text. I reached out to them and they said I needed to go through my home warranty. I was like you just worked on my things for real???real???? Our LG french door refrigerator's compressor failed. It is 4 years old and I found out that there's a 10 year warranty on the compressor. Appliance Guru got assigned the warranty repair. Diane in the office kept me informed and Andrew the technician came out twice - once to diagnose the problem and then to repair the refrigerator. It took a few days due to parts needing to be shipped to Appliance Guru, but the company did a fantastic job of getting our refrigerator back up and running. read more

We were without a working refrigerator/freezer for 10 days, over the 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately for us, we had purchased a now well know LG French door refrigerator/freezer lemon. There was a bit of an issue with communication between the Service Center and Appliance Guru. On the bright side it was still under warranty by about a week. Diane, scheduler, and Andrew, repair technician, were professional, honest and compassionate. Highly recommend. This is the second time they have come out. First time was to work on my dishwasher and today to check out my washing machine. He ran a diagnostic and found nothing wrong with my machine. I was complaining it had a terrible smell and thought the drain pump was not working. He ran a complete diagnostic and found nothing.
