Love this clinic! The picture says it all! From the doctor to the staffs are excellent. I have never see my dog going to the vet so happy and not pull me away at the door. Highly recommended!! Parking is easy which is a plus.

Dr. Kaya used to be a vet at VCA and my dad highly recommend him. My mom told me about how it is his clinic now. The day I got our dog my mom insisted we take him to the vet and they were able to squeeze me in the same day to see Dr. Knock. He did bark at everyone and everything there but the staff was so nice about it even though he was being crazy. The vet tech Josh was the one to examine Shiloh first before Dr. Kwock they had to bribe him with some cheese. And he got a shot and they trimmed his nails for free the one time which was awesome. He recently got stung by a bee and we went to the emergency vet and they called making sure he was ok which was very sweet. Definitely recommend any of their locations.

Dr. Kwock is the one of the only vets that I trust. She is truly the best and most caring doctor out there. I originally saw her at VCA kapolei but decided to make the drive to Manoa from Ewa just to see her. The office itself is clean and there is a lot of parking. The receptionists are polite and professional. I highly recommend any pet parent to come here!

Welcome board in their exam room.

Took our dog for her first visit there mainly because our previous vet (Alii Animal Hospital) sent a reminder that our dog need her influenza vaccine and get prescription flea medication but ended up going sooner than expected because she hadn't been feeling well a few days earlier. But I'm already sold - front staff was friendly and welcoming and Dr. Dang took great care of our dog. Because Alii Animal Hospital still only allow owners in the waiting room, I expected to go run other errands. So I was pleasantly surprised that I was allowed in the room with our dog and they even had her name on the board to welcome her (not that she can read ha ha)! But it's these small things like this that in and of itself was the selling point for me. Then come to find out, our dog doesn't really need the influenza vaccine (turns out only need it if you're boarding...but Alii never bothered to tell me that). Add to that they're open seven days a week and there is a ton of parking because it's in Manoa Marketplace (where FHB used to be), I'll definitely be taking our dog there from now on for all our vet needs.

Love this place! We found it from an ad on TV and decided to check them out. First off, it's been very easy to get an appointment anytime from the day we've called to no later than 2 days from the call. Once there, the wait is no more than 10 minutes. Our kitty sees Dr. Fry. We love her! She's kind, gentle, and compassionate. Dr. Fry always tries to provide options from the most conservative to the most aggressive so we can see the potential progression of care, depending on the final diagnosis. Other vets we've been through have suggested the most aggressive and expensive options as if it were our only option. After much questioning, the more conservative options are then offered. Pee yoo. I don't appreciate that approach. The staff at Manoa Valley Veterinarian Clinic is kind to all animals visiting the office and have taken extra steps to make our kitty feel comfortable. They've given him yummy treats and allowed him to roam the examination room so he can work out his anxiety about being there. If you're looking for a vet and live in the area, Manoa Valley Veterinarian Clinic is worth checking out.

The staff was incredibly nice including the doctor. My dog had an anal gland abscess and they fit me in the next day right away which I really appreciated.

If you're looking for a place that will take care of your fur baby look no further. From booking the appointment to actually being in the clinic we were treated like family. The front desk receptionist were all so sweet and very helpful. Dr. Kwock and the staff was amaaaaaazing with my cat. He's super shy but he was so calm in the clinic. Definitely switching over to MVVC.

This veterinary clinic the best I know in Oahu. Our doggie hurt his paw and it was in the very bad condition, the doctor and all employees in the clinic very professional and helpful! They did such a good job! Next day after visit he's already happy and feels very good! Highly recommend this clinic.

    Hey guys, what doing??
    L M.

Wow.. What a welcome my puppy and I received on our first visit this past Saturday afternoon. No appointment, and they were able to fit us in with a reasonable wait time. They were even open till 4 pm, on a weekend... Will definitely return and recommend to others to check them out... 5 Shaka's.

We had to switch vets once before finding this clinic, and ever since then, we've truly trusted and appreciated the care they provide. Everyone at the front is always so friendly and welcoming, and they always play with our husky! I totally understand that huskies love everyone, but not everyone loves a husky's playfulness, so I really appreciate the attention and love they show our dog. One time, our husky injured her paw with a deep cut that needed after-hours care, and I am forever grateful that Dr. Hsu was available to see her right away. Even though he had already left the office, he was willing to come back for her. I think the care they provide, the heart they put into what they do, and the genuine compassion they have for animals are such important qualities when finding the right vet. We've also utilized their in-house boarding services. At first, we were worried about how our dog would do, but she did more than fine and has loved going back multiple times. The boarding process is also very seamless. They take care of her daily meals, provide 3-4 walks a day, and if anything ever comes up, they're already a vet clinic, so they can provide professional advice and care right away! I highly, highly recommend their services, knowledge, and care. I will always trust my dog in their hands. 10/10!!

They did the biopsy and analysis on three of them, and gave me the (benign) results in less than an hour. All for $143. I see people complain about pricing, but don't forget that the prices of vaccines and meds are controlled by big pharma, not by the vet! If you want to complain about that, you need to complain to Congress, not to the vet.

The woman working at the front desk was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and said they would still see my puppy, even though I had accidentally forgotten the paperwork from when I got her. Once we were in the exam room, the experience continued to be disappointing. The veterinary assistant would not give my puppy back to me and spent the entire appointment holding and playing with her. She stood between my boyfriend and the vet, making it difficult for him to see the exam or communicate with the doctor. It felt inappropriate and uncomfortable, especially during my puppy's first visit when I was trying to understand her health and care. The biggest concern, however, was the reason I brought her in. Since we got her, she has had a very itchy ear. I brought this up to the vet, but I was told it was just a little dirt and that she was fine. After leaving, I felt uneasy and did not feel confident that my puppy received the thorough care she needed. I decided to take her to Manoa Vet, where they immediately took an ear sample and discovered she had a yeast infection. Thankfully, they caught it before it became worse and we are now treating it. I am extremely disappointed that this concern was dismissed so quickly, especially in a 3-month-old puppy who is fully indoors. A proper test should have been done instead of an assumption being made. Veterinary care requires patience, compassion, and attention to detail. This is Hawai'i, where we value aloha and treat our families--including our furry family members, with love and respect. Unfortunately, I did not feel that care here. Nor did I feel the Aloha! I will not be returning and have found the level of care and compassion I was looking for at Manoa Vet.

As someone who works in the medical field myself, I fully understand how schedules run, how delays affect the flow of the day, and why offices have late-arrival policies in place. At the same time, I also understand that good front-office support requires judgment, discretion, and a willingness to help when a situation is still workable. I arrived approximately 11 minutes after my scheduled appointment and had called the office twice in advance to let the team know I was running behind. This was a straightforward consultation regarding flea treatment for my dog - a brief visit that likely would have taken less than 15 minutes and I had already communicated the reason for the appointment and not to mention no other patients in the waiting room. Policies are important, but so is the way they are carried out. In this case, the interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and lacking in compassion. I left with the impression that the front office could have helped, but simply chose not to.
