If I could put 0 stars I would... I've been attempting to work with the office since I had surgery last year. I was not a candidate for LASIK which I knew was a possibility due to a condition, so I was led towards the IOL, basically a cataract surgery with a corrective lens IMPLANT(meaning "permanent"). I agreed to the surgery and paid $7500 as that was my credit limit on one card and was told I could pay the remainder on a Care Credit card when the second eye would be done a month later. I had surgery on Oct 4th, I followed ALL the drops instructions and artificial tears. I knew something was off within a few days and later the weeks coming. I came in for my follow ups and voiced my concerns and expressed how my eyesight was not right, that it was still blurry and fuzzy. They scheduled me for a YAG procedure and even put plugs in my eyes claiming it has to be because my eyes are dry that my sight isn't "right". So I expressed that I do use my eye drops like instructed and that it wasn't making a difference. I continued to go to my follow ups and the follow up Dr.'s even noticed that my vision in the surgery eye was still off on my script and was told I could put a contact in that eye. The young lady told me that they would order me the contacts for my surgery eye and also some for the eye that was still waiting for surgery. Weeks went by and I had not heard anything. At one of my follow ups I had asked for my medical records and it took over a month to get them. I had let them know at the follow up that I had looked for a second and even third opinion and was told that I was OVERCORRECTED for an astigmatism that I didn't have, now I have astigmatism because a Toric multifocal lens was used. I even showed the implant card to these eye doctors and they were baffled as to why I was given a lens that wasn't good for my eye and that I need an IOL exchange. I have reached out to Richard on more than one occasion about seeing the doctor to get this resolved and I get the run around or no one contacts me back. At one appointment I was tag teamed by both the young lady and Richard about how seeking another opinion was not really an option, that Dr. Manrique is the "commander" and we all follow the 'commanders" orders. I am no longer in the military and find it extremely unprofessional to try to compare a doctor to a commander to a veteran. I let it slide but I am tired of asking them for a resolution that is not coming. I have asked to speak with Dr. Manrique multiple times and it has not happened yet. I am now seeking a malpractice lawsuit as I am unable to facilitate my business which is doing lash extension. How do I do lash extensions when I now have NO near sight vision because it is blurry. I cannot read clearly either. The ONLY feedback I would get is to do my other eye and "they'll begin to work together". I don't know about others, but if one eye is not correct, why would I let you mess up my only good eye now. I have let others who have asked me about my experience if I would recommend them and it is a HARD NO! Not only because of my poor results(which I was told is within their margin of error), but also because of the unprofessionalism, the condescending, the lack of empathy and respect for the patient, as well as the gaslighting that is done in this clinic. I cannot speak on how they are at LASIK, I can only speak on my Lens replacement. The healing and surgery itself is fine, its the fact that a lens that was NOT correct was ordered, implanted and now isn't working and they do not want to take ANY accountability. It's supposedly "my dry eyes" fault. If that's the case, then why am I having to wear contacts in BOTH eyes again and have such an off script that I cannot work. Several eye surgeons have recommended an IOL exchange, but anytime I ask about this I am ignored. I'm attaching my scripts I have got get done now. I need 3 different prescriptions after this less than desirable job from whoever placed the lens order. I've asked for an IOL exchange to a CORRECT lens but nope

I definitely recommend Manrique Custom Vision if you are in prescription glasses and contacts. Dr. Manrique and his medical staff were able to not only correct me to a 20/20 right after the procedure but to a 20/15! It has been only 12 days since my z Lasik and I am doing phenomenal and I am beyond grateful they could fix my vision. I had been in glasses since I was in the 2nd grade suffering from far sightedness and severe astigmatism. My astigmatism had gotten so bad that I could no longer tolerate wearing even daily contacts because they would hurt and bother my eyes so bad and I could no longer enjoy the outdoors. At the age of 26 and living a fast and busy lifestyle I am always on the go and z Lasik has been the best decision I have made to improve my every daily quality of life and busy lifestyle! I am glad I chose Manrique Custom Vision to cure my vision. Thank you Dr. Manrique and Dr. MCclure and the entire medical staff for the amazing work you all do!!! -J.J.

I have an astigmatism in both eyes and I've had previous optometrists get seemingly annoyed when the options appear the same to my eyes, but not Dr. Elsayed. She has patience and is so nice and welcoming. The staff is also nice and professional, especially with the little eye puff test. I hate that part even though I've worn glasses for most of my life, I still blink and this staff is patient in repeating the test for me. I couldn't recommend this office more. It's easy to schedule an appointment online and to see their availability. They don't sell eyeglasses which is ok with me because I like to shop around for designers and prices anyway. So it's always a quick and easy appointment with no pressure to purchase anything on the spot. I've seen countless optometrists over many years, but none that I've liked as much as this office and doctors.

First they did the normal tests with the machine including the blowing glaucoma test that freaks me out & I was in with the doctor within 15 min of arrival. Dr Le did his thing. He seemed to listen to me and a few "what's better 1 or 2" later, I was out the door. Dr Le is very soft spoken so it was kind of hard to understand him at times but he's super friendly. Unfortunately, they said I needed bifocals--or progressive lenses--so I left the after payment (which was reasonable for a glasses + contacts exam) and immediately went to a bar in the middle of the day to mourn my youth. Only four stars cuz they effectively called me old with the bifocals recommendation (he did give me two Rxs though--one for regular glasses and one for progressive lenses which was nice). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. I had a bad experience with vision source places before but these folks at this location were top notch.

There is no point in wasting my energy being upset or angry at them, but I feel like I need to make this review. This would have been my fourth visit to this office. Every time before that they have been professional, friendly, and thorough. Like most people, my work is currently short-staffed so I am not able to get time off often. When I got my time off approved for today, I called and made an appointment for my yearly check. My appointment was scheduled for 2:20 pm. I arrived ten minutes early at 2:10 pm. There were two other people there before me. I confirmed my appointment and started filling out their required paperwork. As I was filling the paperwork out, a family of five arrived stating that they all had an appointment at 2:20. I thought nothing of it as I know nothing about booking appointments for an eye doctor. I finished filling out my paperwork and turned it in. The two people who arrived before me were called back to start the initial exam. During this time the family of five was still turning in the paperwork for them When the second person before me came back to wait to see the optometrist, I anticipated getting my name called. Instead, the first child of the family of five was called. I was a little frustrated as I had arrived before them and I had completed my paperwork before them. I sat there as all five of the family member were called back. As I tried to be patient the optometrist called the first child back to his office. That is when I realized that I was going to have to wait for all five family members to be seen before I was seen. I asked if there was a fee to cancel my appointment, which at this point I would have gladly paid. They told me, no and I asked to cancel it and I left. As I said I do not know how scheduling appointments should go at an eye doctor, but to me, it is common decency to see the patients in the order that they arrive if you are going to schedule multiple people at the same time. I showed them respect by arriving early and honoring the appointment I made with them. If it has been one or two who arrived after me I probably would have been frustrated, but I would have stayed. I felt very disrespected by the fact that five people who arrived after me were being seen before me. Why even schedule appointments if you cannot respect the person's time that they are taking out of their day to use your services. At this point, I will not be returning to this office. I just want to warn people who have time limitations that this place may not be for them.

I was having issues with my peripheral vision and had told the Dr. About it. She did a quick paper test to check and even had my pupils dilated and said everything was fine but I felt like she wasn't thorough enough about my concerns. I recently went to a new doctor with the same concern had multiple tests ran and was told this issue should have been detected had my previous Dr. had been more thorough with testing. It felt good to see a different Dr. that I felt was more concerned with finding this issue out. I did not feel that comfort or care at this office and will not be going back..

Josh, the guy who helps you pick frames is completely unprofessional and had to get the last word with everything I said. He also continued to correct me on my complaints to turn it to my issue, not the glasses that were blurry As the conversation continued he kept telling me how gracious he is and that HE would allow my glasses to be remade, when it is the company policy. But if HE ordered my glasses remade to the corrected prescription any adjustments would be out of my pocket. I asked Josh to speak to his manager, who is not working the day I am in. Then I asked what time the doctor would be in for me to speak to her about my prescription and Josh's unprofessional behavior, he proceeded to tell me that he did not know when the doctor would be in and give some long ridiculous reason. He then tried to convince me to come back tomorrow to speak with the doctor, which as it turns out is the day he is off. At the beginning of my last appointment I informed the doctor of the issues with my previous prescription, where every-time my prescription is set 1 click off and have to be remade. I made sure to go over the issues to ensure this didn't happen again, but it ended up happening anyway.

I came to get replacement frames but they ended up being too expensive and my insurance wasn't covering them, but the general manager Marissa was so helpful in coming up with a solution to at the very least fix my broken frame up with a spare arm and do a deep clean on them at no cost! She was so pleasant and can't sing her praises enough. When coming back to get new frames, they worked with me and were patient throughout my many, many trips to go back and look at more. Please consider them if you're in need of glasses or frames because they WILL help you.

I have been a customer of America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses for many years and, until my last…read moretwo visits, I was generally satisfied with the service and products I received. During my most recent purchase, I selected a higher-end pair of frames with progressive (multi-vision) lenses and all of the premium options, including blue-light filtering, scratch-resistant coating, anti-reflective coating, and what I believed was the same warranty coverage I had purchased on my previous glasses. I specifically asked for the same package I had received before, and the representative even reviewed my prior order. The quality of these lenses has been disappointing. My previous pair, which is over two years old and had the same features, survived numerous drops onto wood floors, concrete, blacktop, and other hard surfaces without developing scratches. In contrast, my new lenses became scratched after a single fall from my nightstand. For a premium pair of glasses costing approximately $850, I expected much better durability. When my wife brought the glasses into the store to have the lenses replaced under warranty, we were informed that no warranty had been added to the order. Apparently, the employee who assisted me failed to include the $25 warranty on the purchase. Since I specifically requested the same coverage and options as my previous order, I reasonably expected the warranty to be included. To make matters worse, during the same visit my wife purchased glasses of her own, and the store neglected to process her vision insurance correctly. She later had to return to the store, complete a return transaction, and have the purchase rebilled through insurance. While I understand that we share some responsibility for reviewing the paperwork before leaving the store, customers should be able to rely on the staff to accurately duplicate a previous order when specifically requested to do so. When you tell a representative, "Give me everything I had last time," and they review your prior order with you, it is reasonable to expect the same products, warranty coverage, and billing procedures to be applied. Unfortunately, between the apparent decline in lens quality and the multiple administrative errors, my confidence in America's Best has been significantly diminished. I hope management takes steps to improve both product quality and attention to detail so that long-time customers receive the service they expect.
