Ok. So while I was parked at my apartment complex, someone hit my car. My front bumper was knocked loose. I brought it to Manriquez on Monday. They were able to reattach the bumper before the end of the day and did not find any hidden damage. Great right? Yea, but the bad news was that one of the mechanics had scratched, or dented, or did something to my driver's side door. They said they would need until "at least Wednesday" to fix it. I said........Ok cool. I called them back later that day and asked them to get me a rental car. They at first said they didn't have rental cars, then they said they would try to get back to me on it. So they called back and told me to go to Enterprise and get a car, they would pay for the charges, but that I had to put the deposit of $350 down (because "we are covering everything else so the deposit is your responsibility"). I said, uhhhhh NO. So they agree to put the $350 down. Ok so, Enterprise told me to be there between 9-9:30 am. I told the people at Manriquez that I would be there then. So now it's Tuesday, once I get to Enterprise, the Enterprise people call Manriquez, they say give them 20 minutes to call back with the card information..................................30 minutes later I call Manriquez and ask for the card information and after placing me on hold for a while (about 10 minutes), they finally give the card number. Enterprise still needed to put a $50 hold on my card as the driver.... I said ok. SOOOO, I get the car, head to work (where I am now late), and a few hours later, I get a call back that my car is ready..........................I'm happy but I realize that I did not have to miss that hour of work if my car was going to be ready that day.............Whatever. I got my car back, they put a warranty on the driver's door job, and took $50 off my service. The people at Manriquez told me that I did not need to bring the car back to Enterprise and that I could just bring it to them and they'd get it back to Enterprise. Wednesday, at almost 5 PM, I call Manriquez to ask if they had returned the car back to Enterprise ('cause my $50) and they said "I believe Enterprise already came to pick up the car." So I call Enterprise, they say "No Manriquez never called us and said the car was ready, but we will call them and go get the car." The only reason I gave two stars is because the people who work their are friendly and they gave me a warranty. read more

This was the best experience I've ever had with an auto collision center. I was involved in a hit and run and was extremely upset due to the fact that I only had my mustang for 3 months. I searched all around town for body shops and grew frustrated when I realized this was harder than I expected. As I was picking up my rental from enterprise down the street I did one last desperate search for a body shop that would possibly be sent by the universe lol and there it was Manriquez Collision Center with 4/5 stars. I called them and was told by Rena to come in. It took two weeks for the job to be completed. I dealt with Sylvia and Jeff, Rena was on vacation.... but everybody in that office did an amazing job! I'm coming back to get my roof wrapped by these guys. They are beyond amazing and were very communicative throughout the entire process. I came into Manriquez after an incident that shall not be discussed and for which I officially disclaim all liability, but which left me with some significant damage to the passenger side of my car. I got a very detailed estimate right away and an explanation of what needed to be done (this my first time taking a car to a body shop, so that was helpful). I brought my car in the following week once the part Manriquez ordered was in. It took a couple of days longer than they estimated, but the work was fantastic. They were able to save the passenger door and quarter panel, despite some pretty hefty damage, and now you can't tell that anything ever happened. Best of all, they charged me exactly what their estimate quoted: no surprises. So glad to have my car back to its pretty condition! read more

These guys are real pros. I was involved in a pretty major accident and now my car looks better than when I bought it. They let me look at it the whole way through and explained everything in detail. I will never take my cars anywhere else! I was in a very minor accident on Sept 1, 13. My first time getting rear-ended. Manriquez fixed my car up right. In fact, they even fought the insurance company to do so. The insurance company was pressuring them to simply fix all of the crushed body parts of my car, & the body crew knew that wouldn't actually get my jeep back to 100%. They could've just did what the other driver's insurance company wanted, but instead they cared enough to put in extra effort to make sure they I was happy and that my car was perfect. They stressed to me that they work for me, not the insurance company. I will recommend this to place anyone! My Car was broken in to here. They lied and covered it up, hoping that I wouldn't notice. This place gets one star from me, and the only reason is because of Rena. This place quoted me a 6 day job. I called on the 7th day only to find out that they had completely forgotten about my car and that it hadn't been touched. They hadn't even called the insurance company of the driver that hit my car! I was told I'd get "a call back as soon as possible" but didn't get anything. I just kept getting excuse after excuse and hearing everyone blame everyone else. No one was willing to take responsibility. I had to call several times to get in touch with the owner, David Manriquez. He was very nice and told me that he would have my car done as soon as possible. He told me that he had seen my car sitting there, not being touched, but didn't realize what was happening. He called a day later to ask if he could detail it as a kind gesture and I said no Thank you, as I didn't want anyone going through my things. A few days later when I picked up my car, I noticed that it had been cleaned on the inside as far as being wiped down. I thought it was odd, since I had asked them not to do that. I live about 2 miles away and as soon as I got home I realized there were several expensive items missing, and the contents of my center console and glove compartment were on the floor. I couldn't believe my eyes! All of my windows were intact, and there was no damage to my car. I called and spoke to Rena. She said that she was afraid she'd get "this call" and that a neighboring business had told them that there was someone trespassing their property and that person ran on to Manriquez's property. She said that none of the cars were damaged so they didn't think that anything had happened. In fact, I was told that someone left my car unlocked and that's how the thief got in. She said that they'd filed a police report and that they would look at the surveillance footage and get back to me. They agreed to replace my items, which, obviously was the fair thing to do. A couple of days later, I was looking in my back seat and found shards of glass on the floor and seat. I looked at my window and saw that my passenger rear window was intact and tinted. When I dropped my car off, it was not tinted and it was not the same window that I dropped my car off with. I called back, because obviously, there was more to the story than they wanted me to know. Rena said that both she and David had no idea what happened and that they did not replace my window and had no knowledge of anyone else doing it. She was supposed to call me back to give me an update after she had looked in to it but again, I heard nothing back. I called back again and someone else answered that I thought was David Manriquez. I asked what was going on and if he had talked with Rena and he said no. I told him the story and he interrupted me saying, "oh the white car? Yeah, I remember, we had to replace the window because it got broken in to." FINALLY, the truth. THIS PLACE forgot about my car for a week, it was broken in to and my things were STOLEN and instead of being honest and telling me about it, they replaced my window and tried to cover it up hoping I wouldn't notice! I asked Rena for a copy of the police report that they supposedly filed, and her story changed to, it was a recording. She has no case number, she said they haven't even started looking through the surveillance cameras, I had no car, but still had a car payment, and God knows what else is missing from my car. This place is shady. The story is never the same, and they lie about things that should be disclosed! read more

Walked in one afternoon after work to get an estimate on some minor damage to the side of my car. David came out right away to take a look and I had an estimate written up in less than 15 min. They had the part delivered by the very next day and after about 20 minute wait was able to drive away with my problem resolved. Price seemed pretty reasonable - $80 for the mud guard around my tire to be ordered and replaced. The convenience was worth it. Would go back in the future. Yesterday (08/29/13), I ran over a curb in a store parking lot. I pulled the metal plate under my car loose, so it was laying on top of the exhaust pipe. When I started the car AND as I drove the car, the sound of metal on metal was SO LOUD. I looked up a few places to get it fixed, and Manriquez was one of the few with five stars. I went by today (without an appointment) and was helped almost immediately. The "secretary" was so kind and delightful, telling me about Houston and offering referrals to different places. The mechanics took my car into the shop for an estimate ..& ended up fixing it ..without charge! :) (All they had to do was bolt the plate back in place. I was ready to pay $20 just for service.) I have, unfortunately, needed the services of this body shop many times through the years for myself and my family. Each and every time, I have been treated with great respect and consideration for the burden of not having your car, and a very warm willingness to do all they can to help in any way. Time after time, my vehicle has come out of the body shop looking good as new, and without any need for follow ups for tweaks as has been the case before I found this place. Perhaps most important of all, I NEVER feel as though my lack of experience and understanding about cars put me at a disadvantage. I pulled up to get a quote and the shop owner, David met me out front an I had a quote and detailed explanation of the work in 15 minutes. I am absolutely impressed with not only the work that was done on my vehicle but also with the impeccable customer service here. For starters I did not have a reservation to bring my vehicle in I just showed up (not knowing you needed one) however they were so accommodating and told me no worries we will work you in. David and Sylvia went over and beyond for me. I am a first time car owner and did not quite understand all the ins and outs when it came to dealing with my insurance company in regards to repairs on my damaged vehicle, however Sylvia helped walk me through all the paper work as well as going to the extent of even giving me copies of documents I would need and an envelope and stamp to mail in my report. She even helped set up my rental! David made sure that my insurance company understood the severity of my damages and discussed on the phone for me what issues he saw and thought needed to be fixed, he made sure they knew I needed to be in a rental that day! With all of the flooding that has recently happened in Houston the insurance company was behind in sending out individuals for estimates, I was told that I'd have to wait about a week and half before someone would be out. David informed me not to worry about that I could leave my vehicle there at the shop and he'd make sure they'd come by within the next week. That's exactly what happened! My estimate was done within the next couple of days, as soon as it was Sylvia emailed me and kept me up to date through all of the repairs. I live all the way in League City, and even if I lived further I would drive time and time again back here to have any and all work done on my vehicle. The customer service at Manriquez is outstanding! I had to replace my windshield, and it was fixed in 45 minutes, within only 24 hours of making the first call for an appointment and quote. All other places were going to charge me DOUBLE!! I am so happy with my new windshield, with the service given by Rena and David, and especially the service given by the guy that fixed the windshield without breaking the moldings.
