Years ago, while working in an office building, my Volkswagen was almost totaled when someone in the adjacent parking garage ran into it, doing a tremendous amount of damage. My heart sank when I walked towards the car, taking note of what happened. Not only was the window shattered, with glass shards everywhere, but the actual body of the car was ruined. At first, no one knew who did this, but a really smart woman who worked in the office actually witnessed everything and, thankfully, informed me about what happened. To make a long story short, Master Auto Body really came through and made an excellent restoration of the vehicle. The car looked brand new after the service. With damage to the rear of my beloved truck thanks to a moron speeding through a parking lot to avoid a red light, I was beside myself with grief. With estimates as high as $2000 to pull the dent and paint my bed, I thought I would just have to live with it until a very good friend recommended Master Auto Body. I sent pictures to Victor (awesome dude) via email and had a quote to fix within minutes that was, well, let's say 1/4 of the other estimates just based on the pics alone. We scheduled a consult for the next day where I got to meet him in person. He showed me around the shop for some examples of their work and I was instantly sold. Adding on a couple parts, the estimate was a little more, but completely fair and reasonable. You should see some of their project cars. Magnificent. I dropped the truck off on a Tuesday. Where do I start! I took my beloved 2016 Chevy Silverado, to the shop, after pulling off my front bumper deflector. I met Victor - and his team. Victor took a look at my problem and said, " I can put washers, over the holes ripped apart, and you won't have to replace the entire part (s)." My Porsche 911 was broken into. Drivers side window was smashed in, causing extensive damage to the interior, seats cut, door panel torn up, leather hand break scratched up, steering wheel airbag cover cut up. My insurance was Geico, lucky me! The Geico estimator was super, agreeing to replace all the damaged interior items. The estimator suggested I take the 911 to one shop to have all the work done, rather than take it to glass shop for original Porsche window glass and other shops to do the interior stuff. He recommended I take it to Master Auto Body & upholstery for the entire job. I met with Victor Medrano at the shop, he was excellent to work with. With the estimated and approved Geico expenses, he was able to fix the car back to show room condition. I couldn't be happier with professional attitude and meticulous work to put the Porsche 911 back to show room condition. I came here based on the amazing reviews and also had a great experience! I had to replace the right fender after a parking garage accident and got the lowest price/turn around time here. Victor and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly and walked me through everything and managed to keep the price low by saving my front bumper as well. A few weeks later, the front bumper started coming loose and I emailed Victor again worried that something had gone wrong. I was able to bring my car in ASAP and he showed me that the damage had been caused by someone actually hitting my car and the bumper coming slightly loose. He fixed the loose bumper in under 10 minutes at no extra charge and I was extremely shocked and thankful. I will be coming back here for any other issues with my car in the future! Couldn't be happier with Master Auto Body. Came here after I received a recommendation from a friend of mine. The back story: I drive a 2008 Honda fit with 130,000 miles on it, the car is worth 3.5K on a good day. About 6 months ago the bumper clip on one side of the rear bumper broke... I duct taped it :). Fast forward until 2 weeks ago, after going over a curb stop while parking caused my front bumped to pull loose, well more duct tape. I googled body shops in the area and went to one before Master Auto Body. They said they couldn't repair the bumpers and both of them would have to be replaced and painted, to the tune of 1,332 bucks. Then I gave Victor a call, sent him some pictures of the damage and 24 hours and 215 dollars later I have a car with bumpers fully attached. NO TAPE. Bottom line. The folks at Master Auto Body understand each individuals auto body needs, they are honest and straightforward. I dropped my car off and Victor had enterprise there ready to take me to get my rental car. He took care of my car damage from my accident and also was able to pull a couple of dents for me that I wanted to clear up. Got hit n run by a drunk driver in Alief area....I was sad to see scratches and dents on my driver's side (front door, back door, quarter panel) and the wheels got scratches too. Someone left a surprise for me while I was at my favorite coffee shop. I came out to find damage to the front driver side corner with no note or anything. At first I thought I just had some nasty scrapes on the bumper cover but it turned out that the headlight was shoved in, the fender was bent and the piece that the bumper cover attached to was shoved in as well. Based on a recommendation from a fellow Honda S2000 owner I decided to go with Master. They performed excellent work -- especially considering that Rio Yellow Pearl is a difficult color to match. I wanted to give this place less stars because of my overall experience but I don't think that reflects the management, owner, and the quality of the work I had done on my car, which was superb. I'll explain below. I did a stupid thing and swiped the back passenger door of my SUV against the side of the house while pulling in. I sent pictures to a few places and got some quotes. Victor was the quickest to respond, the most honest and reasonably priced. He wasn't the cheapest but I felt he was the going to provide the best quality without ripping me off. Victor suggested not wasting money on certain small areas that didn't need to be replaced and could just be touched up without causing long-term damage. I dropped my car off on a Monday and was told it would be ready by Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. I put my husband's prescriptioned Oakley sunglasses in their case and hid it in the closed middle console because he was going to pick up the car. I called on Wednesday and they said it wasn't ready yet. I called back on Thursday and they said it hadn't been painted yet and would be ready on Friday after 4PM. I didn't think anything of it but really, the $700 of work that needed to be done was so small (in my mind) I couldn't imagine why it was taking so long. Since it was ready later than anticipated, I ended up going to pick up the car and not my husband. When I picked it up, they had forgot to paint the inside of the door jam. Victor took it back and fixed that up along with some other little spots. It did look terrific. I got in my car and entered my home address on the GPS. Only when it was taking me forever to get home did I realize that my GPS had been completely reprogrammed, with the option for toll roads turned off and the compass orientation different. It hadn't been completely reset which is what happens if the battery is disconnected, just reprogrammed. In addition, all previous destinations had been erased. The worst part was when my husband went to look for his prescriptioned sunglasses, they were gone, both the glasses and the case. I cannot make any accusations because I honestly don't know what happened. The quality of their work was exceptional and the customer service from Victor was excellent. I can't fault him since the car probably was passed through multiple people during the repair. Therefore, I still rated them highly. It just leaves me with an uneasy, slightly dissatisfied feeling. read more

Victor is the primary customer point of contact, and he did a great job of communicating the status of my 2016 BMW 228i that was in for repair after getting rear ended. Victor's observational skills when the car arrived at the shop allowed him to catch additional damage to the front bumper that occurred during towing, and thanks to him bringing it quickly to my attention I was able to prove to the insurance company that this should be repaired under my insurance claim by comparing Victor's photos of the damage to photos I'd taken at the scene of the accident. This undoubtedly saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of frustration had I noticed the damage at a later time. This is the attention to detail you look for in a body shop, and in my opinion worthy of a 5-star review. Oh Em Gee! I'm the duke of Master Auto Body & Upholstery!! WOOOHOOO!! NOT! Obviously being the duke at a body shop means that I had been involved in a little fender bender. What's worse was that I was at fault! -_- Ok, you shut up, don't judge me. Yes I ran into a nice big SUV in my little sedan and guess what? My car was in pretty bad shape. Buckled hood, broken headlight, just in bad shape overall. The SUV? a couple of scratches and one little dent! Anyway, I haven't needed a body shop in forever (12+ years) so I wasn't sure what's a reputable body shop is. Yelp to the rescue!!! Awesome overall reviews for Master body shop. But no, I still had to google them. And they had awesome overall reviews on google as well. So, I brought my car in there, while it was pouring cats and dogs. I dropped my car off on a Friday evening and I was greeted by the owner (Sorry, I can't remember his name) and he said that he'd take care of me. He didn't even look at the damages but he assured me that he was working for the customers and not for the insurance company. I was kind of iffy, but I guess he couldn't really look at anything in the pouring rain anyway. After he called Enterprise to pick me up, we got to talking and he was showing me pictures of the works that he had done in the past. Before and after pictures. He also mentioned that this body shop used to be the main body shop for Mercedes of Greenway until they had some falling out. He didn't mention what kind of falling out but it didn't matter to me anyway. I left and the following Monday my insurance adjuster called me and gave me the total estimate for the repair and told me that the car would be ready in about two weeks. At this point I just didn't care anymore, I wanted the car fixed and that was that. Fast forward two weeks later when I went to pick up my car, they did amazing job! One of the guys walked me through what they did with the car. Showed me what was repaired and what was replaced. He even told me that he had tried to work on some deep scratches on my car (My car was keyed on both sides on the front doors one week after I had bought it) and told me that he had tried to buff them out but the scratches were to deep. I also noticed that they had replaced my passenger side rear view mirror (it was damaged when I parked by the curb on Washington and wasn't damaged during the accident) and they had fixed some minor damages that I knew weren't caused by the accident. Pretty sweet. It's been one month since I picked up my car from Master and the car is running great, no issues, it looks good. The paint matches great and I have to say I will recommend people that need a body shop to go to Master. And oh, did I mention that this body shop is only about five minutes away from where I live? I went to Master based on the yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did. My beloved Jetta headliner couldn't handle the Texas heat anymore and needed to be reupholstered. They quoted $150 to replace the headliner and $130 to fix the lining on the driver and passenger side. It would cost $500 to replace the seats. Victor was very honest and told me there was no need to replace the seat covers, just a good steam should take care of it. I took my 2002 VW to get an estimate on fixing the door and quarter panel. The guy that talk to me were honest in explaining everything. In the end, he told me that it may not be worth it to fix these cosmetics problem and it would be better if I focus on the mechanical. He also fix the door that won't open without any charge! Apparently, it was damaged from under, most likely when I took it to the mechanic last time. Last year, I took my car here since the bumper was pulled out when I was backing up, and they fix it for free also. It was an easy fix but I didn't know that and they could've charge me for it. I ask the guy for a sample of their work and he told me to look at the BMW ip front. I couldn't tell it from a new car. It supposed to have a bad front end damage, but like I said it looks brand new. I suggest looking at their work samples if you're in doubt about their quality. More importantly, these guys are honest with their customers.
