    Chilli Garlic Naan

As always, an amazing experience it was my 5th visit to different locations and the food continues to be amazing!! The Khoya Kaju, the Chilli Garlic naan, garlic naan and plain naan, the gulab jamun all exceptional. I could eat it all day. Absolutely phenomenal service and very happy with the friendly and happy staff.

Daal potli so adorable! Pastry is a bit thick and is pretty buttery. The filling is good but not as good as samosa filling

Everything was so good! We went for a food tasting for my sister's upcoming wedding and were sold!

Located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. Open at 5pm on weekdays. They take phone orders and are usually ready 30-45 min depending on order. I usually order the tandoori chicken full size with garlic naan. The tandoori chicken is flavorful with the green sauce that they provide. Tandoori chicken is not dry and not salty.

Good food and great service! We were so hungry and craving indian food and this place hit the spot! The paneer butter masala was creamy and flavorful. The karahi vegetables was the perfect second dish to get. The vegetables were done well and spicy.

    Not yet sir

Is the Lunch Buffet back? Oct 3, 2022

Still no buffet at this restaurant. Other restaurants (not Mantra) have it. But I heard they are working on getting it back. They need to have a server behind the counter serving all items. So they just need to make furniture adjustments

Is the lunch buffet back yet (oct 2021)?

2/12/22 Nope. No buffet, menu orders only. I just called and verified this information 😥

Could I bring a group of 20 on a Tuesday?

Oh yes, definitely, they have bigger area where you can have that many people.

Is this place good for accommodating large parties?

Not sure how many people you consider to be a large party, but I don't believe they have a separate banquet hall. They have a dining room that probably would accommodate about 100 diners. There are booths and tables. I assume the tables could be…

5/5 - Excellent Kerala Food!…read more Had a wonderful meal at Rasam Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasted very authentic. The Kerala parotta was soft and flaky, the rice and curries were rich and perfectly seasoned, and the spicy Kerala-style dry-fry dish was especially delicious--full of pepper, curry leaves, and great flavor. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot, and the overall quality was excellent. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the service made the experience even better. If you enjoy authentic South Indian/Kerala food, Rasam Restaurant is definitely worth visiting. We really enjoyed our meal and will be coming back again. Highly recommended!

An unexpected gem in the Ralph's center…read more We didn't know what to expect. The reviews were good but it's a relatively new and small spot. When we saw that the dining room was packed with people of Indian descent, were figured that's a good sign. Service was excellent! They were happy to help us determine what we're likely to enjoy the most based on a brief discussion. And they were right! Very friendly and informative, and checked on us to be sure everything was going well. We started with garlic shrimp (fantastic and very different!) And then had Goat saag and chicken Biriyani. Food was wonderful and there's lots more on the menu we want to explore. We were looking forward to leftovers the next day, but unexpected visitors ate it all with gusto. Ambiance is simple but inviting. Not at all gaudy.

Kailash Parbat was recommended to us by family, and we recently dined here with my in-laws. We…read morereally enjoyed some of the dishes we ordered, while a few others were just okay or a bit lacking in flavor. Our favorites were the Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji (we ordered the Classic), Chole Bhatura, and the Jaamun Shot. The Papdi Chaat was exactly what we expected and was decent. The Bhel Puri and Pani Puri were probably our least favorite dishes. For the pani puri, the pani was bland and lacking flavor and the puri barely had any filling. The Bhel Puri was more tart than I expected and could have used a bit more green chutney and sweet chutney. I didn't try it myself, but my father-in-law ordered the Masala Jaljeera and he didn't seem to be a big fan. He mentioned that maybe he should have ordered the Kokum Jeera Soda instead. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance casual. Service was a little slow at the beginning, but once we placed our order, the food came out very quickly. I do wish they had given us a little more time to enjoy a few dishes before bringing out the rest. Our table felt pretty crowded when everything came out at the same time and we were shuffling dishes to make space while we ate. To be fair, we ordered a lot of food, and we probably could have asked for the dishes to be brought out in stages. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars, though I'd probably place it somewhere between 3.5 and 4. I'd definitely come back to try other menu items if I was in the area.

Okay so I think most of the recent reviews get this...their service is garbage and non existent…read more Also don't get any cocktails...it took them 90+ minutes for them to get me the cocktail that I ordered. I honestly don't think it's worth coming here even if the food is not bad because their service is that atrocious. Some food is fantastic...others I'm rather meh about. Pani puri 4/5. Herbed potatoes and the sweet tamarind sauce are fantastic. The tangy water...it's not heavy enough in seasoning for my liking. When you bite into it it's like a fluffy crispy airy dough shell with the texture of boiled eggs but the flavor reminds me of samosas... Also the fried dough thing on top to add the extra crunch is nice Bombay vada pav - 5/5 soft pillowy potato bread with spiced potato fritter.. just yes. They give you additional chilli peppers which honestly are a little too spicy for me.... And the mint chutney is really spicy too.... But the tamarind sauce is tangy and more tart/ and different from the tamarind sauce w/ Pani puri. I absolutely loved this and this was the best thing on the menu. Stuffed mushrooms with cheese - 3.5/5 the cheese does cut into spice from other foods but it's not a dish i think is worth ordering. The tomato flavor is strong and I barely taste coriander or other spices because the tomato overpowered everything else. I don't know what biryani I had because it's not on the menu anymore as I'm writing the review as of 3.28.26 but that was a 2/5. That was terrible. Portion size fantastic but God .... Frozen peas carrots green bean mixture killed this. There was barely any spice or flavor. I genuinely was disappointed. Cocktail.. 0.5/5 It took them 1 hour and 30 minutes before I got my cocktail. Wtf why is it only one person knows how to make cocktails and why is that the person greeting people. Please get more and better staff so that they can actually be doing one job only. For reference I ordered the cocktail "vessel of shakti" and honestly... It gave me artificial candy strawberry daiquiri mix. The coconut water is lost in flavors. I did not taste like. Skip this. Just don't order cocktails because only 1 person knows how to make them. .5 only because the person making the drink was genuinely apologetic and busy. The service here is absolute shit. You can't flag people down, they'll ignore you if you're not Indian so rubbish service. But also the waiters seem really pissed off and don't want to be here. This experience was so bad I wouldn't even consider coming here even if the food was good. This restaurant is super over hyped for the experience and price.

I received the kindest welcome and delightful service and help from Nisha, who explained the dishes to me and recommended The Combo for my first visit. Such a great suggestion since I had never dined at an Indian Cuisine restaurant before. Each one of the servings in the combo was incredibly flavorful, delicious and very filling. I loved each and every one of them! I even had leftovers to bring home, which I am already looking forward to enjoying. The garlic naan bread is out of this world! Their Mango Lassi is indescribably delicious and Nisha informed me that the yogurt they use is made fresh in the restaurant. It tasted so clean and amazing. Definitely going to be hooked on that!!! The atmosphere was so nice and peaceful after a long busy and stressful week. Exactly what I needed. No loud music or noise that people had to talk over. Very, very nice and relaxing. Thank you for the atmosphere as well. Nisha also blessed me with a rice pudding to try and I can hardly wait to make it my evening snack. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome on my first visit. I already feel like part of the family with the way Nisha made me feel so valued as more than just a customer......I left there honestly feeling like family. I'll be seeing you all soon and often! Overview: Great deal, food, and service, perfect for a quick dine-in meal or ordering to-go…read more ---- We were driving back to San Diego from Mammoth and was craving Indian Food. We found this place online and decided to fuel our bellies here. Upon entering there are seats on both sides of the restaurant with the serving area and cashier in the middle. We decided to dine-in and they helped us with ordering. I ordered the Dinner Special Thali ($15.99) which comes with 2 entrees, daal, rice, naan, mango lassi, samosa or kheer. I was allowed to choose 3 entrees of my choice from the select options they had in their serving area (not from all the entrees they have on their menu). I like options and variety, so from their limited entrees I chose mushroom saag (spinach based), chicken tikka, and their paneer tikka. I'm glad I got to taste different options but I like the chicken the best. I also chose the kheer and got the mango lassi as my drink. My boyfriend ordered the butter chicken ($14.99), basmati rice ($3.99), and the cheese naan which we asked if they can add garlic and they kindly did ($4.99). Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. On the tv's they were playing Indian music and their music videos, which were entertaining to watch. ---- Overall: the price point and tasty food are reasons we'd be stopping by if we're ever in the area again or driving back to SD, definitely check this place out if you want some yummy Indian food in Riverside at a reasonable price!
