They're gone! Not sure where they went but it's a black lined fence with the "house" store painted all white & nothing inside like they're renovating the place. Disappointing since I'm on island only for 3 days... read more

Love this place but only gripe is the sizes run out really fast especially on the popular prints and majority of the time will not make that print again. I've NEVER had any issues with the customer service here and I shop here almost every week. If you don't see your size or print you like - ask them to call the Punahou store. They will get it delivered to Kailua store next day in which you can pick up. They also have a rewards card! read more

A taste of true aloha fashion .. I'm in the Midwest now and ordering is reliable and simple .. wrapped in beautifully tropical paper

Late post but worth to review. We originally went to the location on Punahou Street. Very small and tight parking. Unsure if it was the norm but the store was very busy with customers. Love their prints. I was looking for a certain style but couldn't find the size (& in an older print) for my husband's shirt. The new print they had I found sizes and styles for all of us (me, my husband, & my granddaughter). Unfortunately, our family members had the same print and color, we wanted to be different. We returned to Manuheali'i but went to the Kailua location as soon as they opened. I totally wanted something different (in style & print) but couldn't find a style I really liked and felt comfortable in. I was so in love with my previous style & didn't want to give it up. I had to give in and stayed with our same previously purchased print BUT different color. The two gals there were SO patient and helpful with recommending different styles and colors which they could find to ensure matching outfits. They informed their Punahou location was bigger inside but, to us, it didn't seem so ... but the parking was a lot more pleasing than Punahou's. Customer service at the Kailua location was great and we appreciated their help and assistance. read more

I'm normally not a Hawaiian wearer but this year I bought one long and one short muu muu. I love the quality and gorgeous prints of their clothes. You'll love this cute little store! By the way, the women who worked there are so genuine. My new favorite. read more

Lovely store with beautiful and unique clothing for men, women and kids. The women working there the day I visited were very friendly and helpful and made shopping lots of fun. My daughters, husband and I all found items to purchase and we will definitely return on our next visit to Kailua. read more

Walked into the Punahou store with much excitement to find four aloha shirts for an upcoming wedding. Not even one foot into the door the salesperson shouted from the register. I thought she was greeting me and looked over to her but she shouted again "SANITIZE!!" I have no problem with that requirement but was totally turned off at the way she went about it. There was no greeting, just a one word command to sanitize my hands. I walked around the store for about ten minutes and was never acknowledged or offered assistance even though I was the only customer in the store. As I turned and glanced at the two sales clerks, they were intently staring at me and it felt like they were watching to be sure I wasn't going to steal something. The whole experience started to really tick me off. I had found four shirts that were perfect and surprisingly had all the sizes I needed. I always want to support local shops but there was no way I was handing over my $350 to two sassy clerks that showed no appreciation for my business. I too work in customer service and talk with people all day. With the pandemic and people feeling more stress and anxiety on the daily, I take extra time to make sure they feel my smile even though they can't see it. At this time where many businesses are struggling, it's so important to have the right people representing your business. Hoping for Manuhealii this was a one off. Love this store and hope the vibe is better next time. read more

Beautiful attire, but customer service or lack of , should I say, definitely was disappointing. Have frequented the Punahou store for last ten years with positive experience for myself and family members each time. I had the same expectations, but sadly, Kailua store didn't deliver. Walked in, I greeted the young ladies asked wear an item would be found, a gal pointed me in the right direction and that was it. I tried on a few garments with no assistance, even when I came out of dressing room, no comments, questions or offers to help. I found a couple of items I may have purchased, but instead walked out and went to the other store and made my purchase there, with awesome customer service and the genuine aloha i have come to know at Punahou store. read more

When I visited the Kailua store today almost everything on the racks only came in a size XS, S and there would be an occasional M. I'm usually a size L and could find nothing here that fit today Rather disappointing. read more

Elderly beware Just after my mother and I got into the store, my mother who is 91 said she needed to use the bathroom. I asked the sales clerk if she could use their restroom and we were told "no - it is for employees only" and we have to go across the street to the restaurant. So we left and when we got outside it was raining, so we walked along side the building so and in doing so, my mother feel hitting her head on the pavement (the asphalt had a hump in it due to the tree root growing under the asphalt). The store manager called the ambulance. I asked them while waiting for the ambulance if they had ice so we could put it on her head and again was told "no" but then they brought me ice. While waiting for the ambulance, my mom again said she had to use the bathroom which they now let me. The next day I called the Honolulu store and spoke with a manager explaining the situation. She said they are in compliance with the state regulations and only keep the bathroom for employees. Told the manager "exceptions" can always be made and they should take into consideration we have a "Kapuna" and they could display more respect to a "Kapuna" and make an exception - it wasn't like we stop there just to use the bathroom. I had intentions to buy a gift certificate and an outfit. The manger was to have the store owner call and to this date have not heard anything from anyone. They don't display concern or Aloha spirit! Wont be buying anything from this place and will surely tell people how they treat the elderly. read more

Cute little boutique off the beaten path. Beautiful fabrics, comfortable designs. I did not experience the sizing issues as others who've reviewed. Maybe we were lucky and got there before all the normal & bigger sized woman snatched up the inventory. Ha! :-) I am a size 10 and wear a large top. read more

I purchased a Henley dress the later part of December. I wore it a couple times before washing it in cold water and hang drying. I put it on for the first time today and noticed that it had shrunk and the color was not as vibrant as when first purchased. Also, the bottom of dress, has started to roll. I was so proud of this dress receiving many compliments. From afar it looks good but I can see the imperfections. I am a fan of Manuhealii but just dissappointed in the this dress. read more

I live on a neighbor island and hardly have the chance to visit Oahu so when I do, I make all the stops at the shops we don't have. I have always been a fan of Manuheali'i so I was very excited to stop by and browse their selection. It was a drive coming in from Honolulu and it was a very hot day so I kept my self well hydrated. By the time I got to the store, I needed to use the restroom. I was very excited so I decided to browse for a little bit before asking for a restroom. When I felt that I couldn't hold it much longer, I asked the sales associate (local lady) if I could use the restroom. She informed me that they didn't have one and I would need to go to a nearby restaurant. I continued to browse when my mother in law asked the other sales associate (Caucasian) if she could use the restroom (my mil was unaware that I had asked earlier). Low and behold, the Caucasian sales associate took my mil to their restroom located in the store. I was appalled but didn't want to make a big deal. After making my purchase, I asked the same associate from earlier if I could use the restroom & she said yes (with an attitude). Then I was shocked that she handed the paid merchandise to me without a bag. I had a puzzled look on my face and handed the merchandise to my husband while I use the restroom. As I was leaving the store, that sales associate rang up another customer and placed her merchandise in a shopping bag. I was never rude in any way and didn't think I deserved that kind of treatment: if I didn't love Manuhealii so much and wasn't short on time, I would've not purchased anything from that particular location. The customer service was poor and I do not want anyone experiencing that kind of treatment. Disappointment was an understatement! read more

Really awesome aloha wear! Bold and beautiful! I like their limited run of prints and colors; new collections seem to be released every few months or so. Can keep tabs through instagram and facebook. Best to go immediately after release date/time to get the sizes and styles you want. Now in my closet are a couple of dresses and shirts, good for special events and office wear. Plenty of parking. More convenient to the windward people. Best to try on the pieces since size seems different from expected. Pieces can be pricey, so I am very slowly accumulating my own personal Manuheali'i collection. read more
