They have several flavors to choose from, Tiger's Blood to Ube, sweet yam. They offer the option to add any flavor of ice cream to be an added base to your shaved ice cup or bowl. Affordable shaved ice, that wasn't over 10 bucks. I got the minimum choice of 3 flavors at the least but you can add as many flavors as you desire. I chose Sour Apple, Strawberry, and Ube. Unfortunately my stomach is sensitive, I decided to try it without the ice cream. I got one natural flavor pua pog paired with groovy guava. I also added the drizzle on top. These two pair well the guava was gently sweet, pua pog a little more sweeter. I also tried the zapple apple, it's pretty sour. If you like a little tang this is for you. My husband and I decided to stop by this shaved ice shop after a wonderful beach day in Kailua. We were excited to try a new place, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. When we entered, none of the employees greeted or acknowledged us. We noticed they were helping other customers, so we patiently waited and looked over the menu. After those customers left, there was complete silence for several minutes, and no one checked in with us or asked if we were ready to order. I was ready to leave because customer service is important to me, but my husband decided to greet one of the employees himself. Instead of responding to his greeting, the employee simply said, "What can I get for you?" The rest of the interaction was equally disappointing. There was no friendliness, conversation, or basic customer engagement. The experience became even more frustrating when I needed to use the restroom. We asked for the key, but the employees were unable to locate it and suggested that someone might have the women's restroom key. No solution was offered. I noticed that the employees appeared quite young, and while I don't expect anyone to be overly outgoing, basic customer service matters. A simple "Hello" or "How are you?" can go a long way in making customers feel welcome. Unfortunately, the shaved ice itself was also underwhelming. As it melted, the bottom became very creamy and milky, tasting less like shaved ice and more like ice mixed with milk. Overall, we were disappointed by both the service and the product. With so many excellent shaved ice options on the island, we won't be returning and would recommend trying one of the many other local spots instead. read more

Yes they had an assembly line going, but the teens working there seemed more interested in gossiping than in serving people quickly. Another place that my sister told me I had to hit up. I almost didn't get in, because the parking lot was very full. I got the last spot in the parking lot. That was good for me. The shave ice was amazing. I could've had. Keiki size, or regular size, so I chose the regular size because the price was not that much of a difference. It was very reasonable. You can choose up to three flavor syrups. I chose POG, (passion, orange guava), lilikoi , and coconut. The lilikoi was just a little bit subtle, but still very very good. You could definitely taste it. They have some very interesting flavors, including wedding cake! However, I chose to stay the tropical route. The Shave ice comes with ice cream, and I paid a couple of dollars extra to also have Azuki beans and Make it a traditional shave ice. It was huge, and it was good. The syrup were absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed it. The ice cream and the Azuki beans were at the very bottom, and the Azuki beans were in the form of a paste. They were a little bit sweet, and a little bit savory, but played off the ice cream perfectly. I can see why my sister sent me here, because this is one of the better shave ices that I have had. Rating four stores solely on the customer service. The shaved ice is located inside a store that sold novelties. We decided to come here after a friend said it's one of Obama's favorite shaved iced places on the island. So why not? We love Obama and also shaved ice! We were in the area anyways! The store is a pretty good size walking in and was bright and clean. However, if you want to go the bathrooms, you have to go through the back entrance and into a hallway. The bathrooms weren't clean at all and looked a bit shady. They definitely need to do a deep cleaning for the bathrooms. There were a variety of sizes, flavors, and toppings to choose from! They also give you ice cream as a base. The only critique I have is that I wished they would add the toppings throughout the shaved ice and not at the bottom. I added mochi to mines and I had to finish eating the huge shaved iced before I got to the mochi. It was disappointing as I love to eat mochi with my shaved ice. But the quantity, price, and flavors were great! It was like $6.75 for a large serving of the shaved iced and medium was like $6.25. Only .50 difference? Get the large size. They offer natural flavors too so if you're not into the artificial stuff, then these are a wonderful alternative. My husband and I got the following: Matcha and Melona mixed with condensed milk on top: 10/10 - as my husband finished this without offering me a bite. So I'm guessing he loved it so much that he forgot to share. LOL Lychee/Guava/Pineapple natural flavor with condensed milk and mochi: 8/10 - I enjoyed it very much but after a while, all the flavors kind of just muddled into together. The lychee was the highlight as its flavor was very fruity, bright, and a hint of tartness. I like the vanilla ice cream at the bottom and the mochi balls (they give a decent amount) were chewy (in a good way) and fresh. The mochi balls were both pink and white and I enjoyed them very much. I just wish the mochi balls were scattered around the shaved ice or something because I had to wait until my shaved ice was melted a bit until I could see the bottom of the cup to eat the mochi. The guava flavor wasn't my favorite as it was subtle but the pineapple was good. Definitely get the condensed milk on top! It adds that creamy sweetness and goes so well with any flavor! It makes eating shaved ice more like a dessert too! They have other toppings you can choose from but I would recommend the mochi balls! Wait time was a little long as there was a group in front of us that kept asking questions (not the store's fault) but they made the shaved ice really quick! Thoughts: - I generally prefer the ice cream to be a bit more easy to access under the snow; had to dig quite far down to get there. - Some flavors were stronger than others.
