Peter said he would look at my moms car while she sat their for 3 hrs, well he didn't and knew my mother was in a pinch and would be trying to get back to Maine on Monday Peter of Tire town did not look at my moms car till Monday- it was a Friday -I can get it. He looks the car over 2 hrs after being open on Monday. Reports to my mother it needs a radiator, 2 hoses and a thermostat it would be 800. Also mentions she needs new tires and her battery is rusting. Ok fine. My mother pays and heads on her 400 mile trip back to make. She makes it to New Hampshire and her car breaks down at 7pm. Ends up she needs a new engine, sway bar, new ball joints. You want to tell me this man had no idea that the car had other issues? Even if he didn't - and I don't think that was the case- is this the person you want fixing your car. This could have ended a lot worse. I just find it extremely disgusting that he sent my mother on a 400 mile trip in a car that was not safe and charged her 850 dollars. This is why car repair places get a bad rap. Think twice before going here.

I then asked the front desk guy if he was sure the worker would do it. He replied, "Yeah, yeah." After that, he was quite impressed. "Oh, brand new tires!" he exclaimed. The worker run the car over the tool. I got brand new tires, but he almost ruined one of them there is a video I uploaded too. He took 1.5 hours to complete the alignment. After that, he blamed the machine, but I know it wasn't the machine. The worker didn't even use the proper tools. The proper tools are 14mm and 19mm, but he used an adjustable wrench and grip plier. I don't know if they actually train their employees to use proper tools. Poor value and they treat your car like junk cars I WILL NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE TO GO THERE IF THEY WANT TO DRIVE THEIR CAR LONGER

When I left the vehicle, the touchscreen on the console was fully functional and had no cracks or damage. When I returned on July 12 to pick up my car, I immediately noticed that the touchscreen had been physically cracked. The damage was discovered while the vehicle was still at the Firestone location, and I reported it before accepting the vehicle back. The employee I spoke with was rude and dismissive, stating that Firestone was not responsible. Even claiming that no one touched the inside of the car at any time (even to move the car inside for work...) because the worked we requested was for other components. Because my concern was not taken seriously, I left the vehicle at the store and returned on Monday to speak with the store manager. I requested that any surveillance footage be reviewed to determine what happened, but I was told there were no cameras covering the whole Firestone area. To date, Firestone has provided no explanation for how the damage occurred and has not conducted any meaningful investigation while my vehicle was in its possession and control. My experience at Vernon Firestone has made me question whether VERNON FIRESTONE is worthy of customers' trust and whether vehicles are truly being handled with the care and respect they deserve. When I came to pick up my car, it had a broken windshield. They denied responsibility so I called their corporate office and they had an inspector look at the vehicle. They found a broken bolt on the skid plate that was rattling and fixed that, but denied my claim and refused to fix my windshield. So, in sum, I brought my car in with an unbroken windshield, left with a broken windshield and a rattling skid plate, which continues to rattle, despite their broken bolt "fix".
