Horrible service and nothing but a bunch of liars. Gave me car back shaking bad with so many problems. Front left fender popped up and almost fell off. Door is loose and making noises. Windshield washer spray didn't work. Dome light is staying on even when the car is off. There was a 2 inch hole on the side of the tire with metal coming out. None of the moldings fit and had to be replaced. Brakes don't work well. Lied to me about the rental car and how long I can have it. On tape I have him saying if I bring it to the dealer or a non Geico shop I only get 30 days rental car. I said it's 30 days no matter what. He said this repair could take a while and I would probably run out if I went somewhere else. Still ran out. All these problems and more I've come back 4 times now and still not fixed. Rental car ran out even though he said I would have it until the repair is done. Told him about last time it was only 30 days and I had to come back and it ran out. Liars!!!! Told me he will fix some stuff but the rest I have to go somewhere else to get stuff fixed and pay out of my pocket. Also pay for a rental car out of pocket. Run away from this place. Lied to Geico about me saying the car was shaking when I slammed on my brakes. Have text proving that. Car also goes to the left when I brake hard. So my car was driven into at a party and I couldn't find a place to take it to. I met a friend that recommended Mapleview Collision I think mostly because he worked there. Anyways so I take my car in and Oscar the person in charge took the best care of me. He was honest and told me everything that needed to be done upfront. He was in constant communication keeping me posted. My car would have been done sooner but there were issues with the insurance which wasn't his fault he worked with them and was able to clear everything up. My car now looks like new. I rarely write reviews whether good or bad unless I receive exceptional service, and this is one of those occasions. On July 31, 2022, the catalytic converter from my wife's Honda Element was stolen. As you can imagine, the thieves did a lot of damage to the muffler and various sensors to the exhaust system. My insurance carrier provided me a list of repair shops I could choose from. I had GEICO insurance and this was one of the closest locations to me and after some research, I saw that they had the best reviews so I chose them. Overall, I am totally pleased with me process. My car took a week in a half to be repaired completely. They put me in a rental in the meantime. MC called and kept me updated on things so that was appreciated. I also wanted to give a special shout out to Gill who works there. I kindly had to ask him to remove my car seat from my car to put into the rental and even though he didn't have experience working with removing/inserting car seats, he still did me the favor! He took it out and put it into the rental for me and then did the exact same when I came to pick up the car. He took the car seat out of the rental and put it back into my car since I had my hands full with my toddler. He is awesome and so helpful!!! The job they did on my car also looked good. i I don't think I have ever left a review on yelp before but I feel my experience warrants one I hit a deer on June 22 2023 I have Geico insurance they suggested Mapleview collision of lakeside Ca so that is where I took my 2024 Chevy Equinox to be fixed after 30 days of being there my insurance lets me know that i will be running out of time for my rental the part is back ordered so I was given 2 choices pay for the rental on my own which my part just came in about two weeks ago or they would put the broken part back on but mapleview collision said your insurance will only pay to have the bumper taken off once so you will have to pay for it to be taken off I asked how much 162.00 it will take two to three hours so I go back today to have it fixed it took 30 minutes however they hand me a bill that says 60dollars an hour for labor and it says 2.7 hours so I owe 162 dollars I say but it only took you 30 minutes he says (Gil) well the data base says that's how much we can charge you so I say that's not right you didn't do 2.7 hours of work I brought my car in at 10:10 am and it was done at 10:45 am I'm pretty sure that's not 2.7 hours well that's what it is they would not lower it they just kept say well that's what the data base says we can charge to me this is fraudulent if I go to work and I work for 30 minutes I don't get to bill my boss for 2.7 hours this is why insurance is so high now remember they were already paid once for taking the bumper off however you look at this it's dishonest I would suggest if you want to pay for you are actually getting don't go to Mapleview collision who knows how many others have been fraudulently charged good luck so much for using a insurance recommend local company next time (I hope there is never a next time) I will take it to the dealer read more

I turned my truck into Mapleview Collision on 2/22/2023 as it was listed as a Geico Service Center and I have Geico. It was very close to my house, and I was happy to also support my hometown of Lakeside, so we decided to take the truck there. My truck is a leased truck, and had rear passenger side panel damage due to a vehicle backing into my truck. Upon dropping off the truck, I felt good. Then close to a month later the truck was still in the shop. I was contacted by Geico's representative stating my rental car insurance benefit was going to expire, so I called Mapleview to inquire of the time when my truck would be ready. They indicated at least another month, due to supply chain back-ups. I had a trip coming up end of April, and inquired if I could drive the dented truck around until the part arrived, as my rental benefit was expiring. They happily allowed me to. However, this is where it got a little odd. After agreeing, they called me back almost a day later and said the truck isn't starting. I figured it was the battery as it had been sitting for some time, but it was the end of the business day and they informed me that they would have someone out the next day to get it up and running. The next day brought heavy rain, which meant worker delay getting to the shop due to the rain, thus it was not addressed on that day. The following day, they said they need to get a specialty electrical team to look at it, as it's still not starting. The day after that, I was told that there was a leak above the cab brake light, which has shorted out the RFHUB. The owner had already looked into my warranty, and stated that if I called RAM, despite the warranty being expired by a couple of days, they may honor it and replace the damage from the leak. After all of this, The GM and the Owner graciously for my wife and I to come up and look at this leak and assess the damage. Upon arrival, I was shocked to see that windows were down, covered with plastic that was not secured, and blowing in the wind, and the hood was open. I was quickly taken to the rear driver side door, where the leaky break light was being pointed out as an issue. There was no visible issue. Upon further investigation by my wife and I, we noticed that front seats, rear seats, front driver side/passenger side and rear driver side, passenger carpet/upholstery was completely soaked. When pushing down on the carpet, the water would squish over your fingers. The vehicle had the amount of water in it, one would expect, given all the rain we had during that time, almost like all the windows were down during all those torrential rains. I looked at both the GM, and Owner on separate occasions and said you have to be kidding me to believe that a "leaky" cab brake light caused all this water damage. After meeting with the owner the second time, he agreed that there was a mistake made by his team and we can turn this into his insurance to cover the loss - which was total floor upholstery removal, treated for mold (the truck smelled like an old gym uniform), and brand new upholstery installed coupled with an electrical diagnostics report indicating that the RFHUB was indeed ruined and needed replaced. Once the Truck was repaired, I did return it to mapleview to have the rest of the work done - which it was, in about a week despite the parts already being there, and having to wait on a tire to arrive... My overall thoughts are; yes, things happen that are unintended. Staff due flake and do not show up when it rains. There are supply chain issues that cause delays. However, please do not try to force your error on me. Be honest. Do not call me and say you think that you know what the issue is, when you knew full-well, that your team had left the windows down in our heaviest rainy season in the last 20+ years. I would have not lost respect if you would have called me initially, indicating that your team made a mistake, while also indicating what you're going to do to fix it - which, was not just shampoo the inside. Long story short, as a result from my decision to turn into Mapleview, I've lost hours of time dedicated to finding a rental or waiting on a rental due to rental backlog, I've had to drive to this repair station more than I can count, I've had to travel/communicate with another dealership to have my issue caused by this shop taking care, my professional work time has been impacted more so than it should've been as a result of the mistakes, and I've ultimately lost trust in this local business. I'm a trusting person by nature - which may be a flaw, but now that I've had to deal with this, I will not be trusting this location in the future, and after reading similar reviews, I would caution you as well read more

As soon as you drop your car off he basically does EVERYTHING for you, arranging the rental car, pick ups, drop offs etc. He keeps you up to date every single step of the way during repairs and if you have any questions he is very thorough and explains everything in detail. If he notices anything amiss that may not be accident related he even lets you know that. Being in the situation can be very very stressful, but for me, once I dropped the car off I did not stress AT ALL because Oscar handled everything. Update: this is my 2nd time coming to Mapleview Collision. This time someone rear ended my brand new Dodge Charger. We went through Geico insurance and Mapleview pretty much took care of everything for me. He kept me informed as often as possible and made sure the insurance paid for everything that he said needed to be replaced. He even purchased brand new factory made parts even though the insurance approved after market parts. I also requested that he stored the vehicle in his garage over night so that it was locked up and he was more than willing to do that.
