From delivery (as promised), to how the cupcakes looked (neat, detailed, beautiful!), to how they tasted (guests said they were fresh, not too sweet, and some were shocked how such a small cupcake had so much flavor). I was so surprised that I had to try one. The jar I chose had a vanilla cake with two layers of orange icing. Opening the cute jar, the top layer of sweet icing was hard to break through to the cake. I would eliminate that layer, and go straight for the cake. The cake had an interesting texture, and the second layer of icing was good. Eating this was just enough. Novelty concept. Cake in a Jar would be good for an outdoor party, or special occasion.
