Not because we necessarily liked it best but it always seemed to have more options and better looking stuff than any of the other slice shops when we were looking. Ah classic boardwalk pizza! You know it's mediocre, you know it's expensive, but your kids want it anyway lol! We have been here a few times over the years. We like the outside tables especially on nice days! We usually get a few slices, always decent. Sorry I'm from NYC originally, and we know our slices! If a pizzeria isn't good, the one 3 doors down takes away their business hahaha! Plain is pretty solid! I got the tomato one, it reminded me of a classic greasy slice from a place in NYC that does fresh sliced tomatoes, and garlic, mmmmm. It didn't compare obviously, but it was great to reminisce! We also got the garlic sticks, they were passable! Got a few drinks, fed the kids and they were happy. They were happy the wife was happy. The wife was happy and I thanked God! Staff is solid, there is a language barrier, but everything is on display so pointing really helps lol! The place in general is Jersey shore clean. Meaning dated, but kept in good enough condition. I love the pizza i really enjoy a good old fashion style pizza come here all the time when im in seaside I also have a buddy of mine that owns a pizzeria close by and i still like the pizza at this place better Compared to the pizzeria's at my home tome this place is my favorite. read more

We walked by, and we were actually pleasantly surprised with the extra large pizzas they have there. So, we thought we would give it a try. Keep in mind this is a Boardwalk pizza place, so it is geared towards tourists. It may not be your go-to pizza place. The pizza was actually the size of a hula hoop. I imagine it's vaguely in the style of the sawmill on the opposite end of the boardwalk. But the large fresh one we ordered was actually decently good for the group. The best part was the garlic bread at the beginning. The workers were actually very nice and efficient. It's probably more 3 1/2 stars. It gets the job done when you're on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. read more

A quick stop for a slice of pizza while walking on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore. The pizza was very good. Perfect combination of vegetables added to the slice I ordered. A bit pricey but expected based on where we were. The restaurant has places to sit. Has restrooms if needed. Overall a clean place where you can sit outside. read more

I was craving a Cheesesteak and fries and picked this place on a whim. We must have passed 4-5 other places but this was towards the end of the boardwalk and I was starving. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions and some fresh cut fries, along with a diet coke. Everything was delicious. There was something on the cheesesteak that made it so flavorful that I didn't even add any ketchup. I think it may have just been some salt and pepper. Really good. There was a customer there with a monkey, so that was interesting, too. I saw the monkey's foot at first and thought maybe we were about to meet the Jersey Devil. Nope, just a monkey. Anyway, I enjoyed this place -- and my cheesesteak and fries! read more

Food was extremely undercooked. I DO NOT recommend buying g food from here AT ALL. I had chicken fingers, fries, and fried Oreos & the next day I threw it all back up. Not only did I get sick, but my friend who also had the same thing as me threw up as well. I know it was the food because the other people I was with that didn't eat the food didn't get sick. I am EXTREMELY upset with the result from this restaurant & now I'm too scared to eat anymore boardwalk food in fear that I will get sick again. read more

was trying to find corn on the cob down in Seaside Heights. i know.. such an unusual request at the Jersey Shore. But The place i would go to was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and never reopened. The corn was fantastic and now have found a new spot to eat my corn on the cob. This place is very good and very clean. Next trip down to Seaside Hts i will sit down here to eat lunch or dinner. read more

I love their fresh cut fries. Sometimes the cheese ones are too much cheese,though. Their cheesesteaks are made fresh when ordered & I like that they season theirs. It makes a world of difference!!! My husband had their sausage & peppers & he enjoyed it. Their garlic bread looks amazing, think I'll bring a piece of that home next time I visit. read more

As Funtown burnt down last fall I knew that the original Seaside Steakhouse and all its memories would most likely not be rebuilt. It truly was never the same after it moved from the corner where the beachcomber now resides. I was told Billy the owner had invested most of his time now to Marathon Steak & Seafood north of the Aztec and across from EJ's on the north end of seaside boardwalk. Off we went. First thoughts are they redid the "ORIGINAL STEAKHOUSE" right down to the raw bar, lemonade out of the large lemons shaken with real lemons in the glass, and seafood area. Cheese Steaks, Sausage, Pizza still the norm. Food the Steaks themselves were EXACTLY like the old steakhouse with the sliced fresh rib eye steak done in front of you. Still $7.50 for a steak with peppers and onions and cheese is excessive when you don't get much meat at all but it is a throwback and the best on the boardwalk by far. Pizza was sitting there for sometime so I didn't venture towards it but we did fire in some mussels in hot sauce and a clams on the 1/2 shell that were both freshly prepared even for boardwalk food. Lemonade at 3.00 for small and 5.00 for large is well good but again very pricey. All and all as boardwalk options go this certainly would be my go to place for my steak sandwich as it as close to the original boardwalk steak as you can get. Everything was served quickly and we had no complaints with anything other than the complete disarray of the bathroom and the dining room certainly could get wiped down a bit more. All and all can't compare it to the quality of sandwiches in town like Johnny Fries which is still best in the area but for boardwalk food only it's a solid go to spot. read more

Best pizza on Boardwalk. Super-thin crust, tasty toppings. Great selection- from plain and supreme to bbq chicken pizza. We've only had pizza at Marathon, but there is a huge selection of other items. They heat up the slices and serve them very quickly, especially considering the constant long line. Prices are a bit high, but the same as comparably sized slices at other establishments. read more
