Overall, great friendly place! Great food and great service. I just had one bad experience, so for fairness and balance, I will include that below. But tonight, I did go back in the off season. Not only did they remember my awful wait the last time I was there, she apologized again and gave me some extra breadsticks for the ones she couldn't give me the other time. ------------------------------------------- First time was great and we were in and out with our delicious take out pretty quickly. Tonight was another story. I arrived at 9pm on a Saturday night in the summer. Big mistake! I just wanted a quick meal instead of cooking myself. (I live just a couple blocks away.) I ordered and paid and then I was told it would be about 25 minutes. Ok, longer than expected, but pretty reasonable for a busy restaurant. It actually took 45 minutes to get my food. I practically passed out from hunger while waiting. I got a quick apology and I do sympathize; they were really busy. But then when I checked my order, I noticed I didn't have the breadsticks that came with my order. I asked and was told that they ran out. They ran out of bread in a pizza shop! If I could write a minus 10,000 star review I would. I have friends and kids under 6 over for a kids bday party. Ordered food 5:02. Delivery estimated 545. It is bad weather so I expected delays. I called 630. Was told it was going out for delivery. At 705 I called and was told it was finishing up and out for delivery. I asked for a mgr and they said call elder in Lavallette. Elder was too busy making pizzas. At 730 I called and they now did not have an order even though I had an order number. I called elder. Still too busy making pizzas. I can't speak on everything there or anyone but I can speak to my experience thus far. I work on the boulevard 2 doors down from tbhs pizza shop. So convenient to go there because I don't want 7-11 pizza. That being said the slice I get which is a Sicilian slice is amazing. Haven't tried anything else but love that slice. Now for the reason why I only gave the place 2 stars. At the end of the day you need to have good customer service people manning the front of house. There is this one young lady, black hair, that works the counter and I swear she hates her job. I don't care don't smile whatever but for 3 different customer to be waiting on slices when the place is empty on around 12pm is crazy. I get she could be busy with things I'm on aware of. But this is just my experience. She also made the first initial cut in the pie, they I guess haven't sold it yet, she cut the end corner she gave me VISIBLY smaller then all the rest. Either way, the Sicilian slice is great, counter people could use some attention. Also it is not a good idea to let people smoke at the tables right next to the door. A good pizza spot in seaside. They add a lot of toppings on the pizza and their vodka sauce is very good! Prices are good for the location and quality. Lots of garlic knots in an order. Where to begin?? Let's start with tonight I guess. I place an order and was told it would be 30-40 mins for the delivery. Ok, not a problem. At the hour mark I call asking about the delivery and was told that the driver would be leaving the in 2 minutes. Half an hour later the pizza arrives, an hour and half after placing the order, and the pizza is stone cold. I have had a delivery driver straight up steal money from me. She was supposed to bring me change back because a delivery driver doesn't carry change? She never returns. I complained to the owner who said it was my fault for not calling the night it happened instead of the day after. I was waiting all night for the driver to return. Never made an attempt to rectify the situation at all. I had to download Yelp just to give this place one star while waiting on my delivery of dominos. Avoid this place at all costs. The owner doesn't care and the drivers steal from you. Wish I could give it less than one star. read more

I used to like this place. Ordered sandwiches a couple times, they were alright. Then they burnt my chicken parm, so I stayed away for a while. A few months later I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again. I walk in and up to the counter and order a buffalo chicken slice. So I've ordered here in the summer and the food was great I don't know why the chef would put more effort into the food during the summer but they definitely do as if the winner regular clientele does not matter. I ordered the stuffed rigatoni with vodka sauce and he told me he did not have that figures because it's not summer. So instead he recommendedThe baked ravioli with vodka sauce. When I got it it definitely had mozzarella cheese on it but it look like it was put in the oven for a second and taken right out it was Runny not that hot.. The only good thing was the vodka sauce tasted homemade. Definitely could've made it at home way better the point of eating out is to get food you can't make at home.. or if you can make it for the take out to be of great quality. I had ordered the eggplant parmigiana dinner and it was by far the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. The sauce was sour- I'm almost positive it wasn't suitable for consumption. The pasta was hardly cooked. The cheese even had a weird sour taste to it. I barely touched it and ended up getting sick from it. I called them explaining this and asked them to please take it back and give me a refund, they refused. If I could leave ZERO stars I would! I ordered pizza from their website and waited an hour and a half and when I called they said they were closed and they never got my order. I gave the order number and said i ordered off their website he told me that they don't have a website to order from (when my buddy just ordered off it and he ordered a Hawaiian pizza and when it was delivered he got a plain cheese and it was freezing cold) after being told that I never ordered and was wrong multiple times they said something in Spanish and hung up on me. I live in town and I have ordered from them several time. Always good! This time my lady ordered 2 LARGE calzones, we got 1 large and a normal one. I called them and explained to them what we had ordered and the man tells me that she ordered a large calzone and a normal one. I told him that was a lie I was sitting right next to her when she called. Then he says that he misunderstood the order and said he has no problem replacing the one with a upcharge!!! An upcharge for something not my fault, I think not. My bill was $25.14 and he wanted to charge me $33.50 for his mistake.
