First came here 2 years ago and it was by far the best pizza in the boardwalk. We got it every night. Last year couldn't tell if it was just diminishing returns or changing. This year it's not even remotely the same pizza. Still ok for boardwalk pizza and reasonable price but they must have changed owners or recipes or something. I wanted a giant slice of pizza from the boardwalk, and this gave me what I wanted. Very large slice, with good sauce and cheese ratio. Had sausage on it, which was flavorful and hit the spot. Worst price ( if remembering correctly, $6.49+ for one slice). * The slimiest, raw, mush, floppy, sloppy dough (cannot call it crust). "Sauce" was tasteless. Whatever was on top slid immediately off onto the ground. We would NEVER eat from here again- and totally regret paying that for one terrible slice. Well there's more to this then just the taste of the pizza, the Service was absolutely horrible I ordered delivery, and the delivery driver was insanely disrespectful, the order was $20, I gave him $40 and he started handing money back, thinking there was no tip, he tried taking the pizza back just because of that and then I explained his tip was the extra $20 and he played it off like nothing, the thing that doesn't make sense is the pizza place is 6 minutes away from me so it doesn't make sense why he is doing all that for a tip when he drove only 6 minutes, and yet I still gave a $20 tip. read more

I ordered a whole pie because I liked the look of their pizza (which is exactly what's pictured in their reviews here), however, what I received was completely different. I wanted that fluffy browned crust pizza with lots of bubbles & cheese crannies & I received an extremely flat , small undercooked disc. It was horrible. Bottom was barely cooked , it was still white. No crust , cheese right to the edge , no taste, watered down "sauce" straight from a can of peeled tomatoes ..no seasoning whatsoever & cheese that had no salt or taste. It was like a crappy bar pie, the crappiest of crappy bar pies @ that!! They should be embarrassed to sell such mediocrity & call themselves Italian. 7/2/21 Thanks Joe for clarification ;). Tried them when they first opened a couple of years back and was not a fan. Just tried them again and was not impressed at all there pizza is overpriced even for the shore. Their pizza sauce is on the sweeter side which is not to my liking. We ordered 2 18 in pies. One was just cheese and the other had topping?? I had a hard time finding the toppings for a 32.00 pizza. Spent over 60.00 for two pizza's, not happy. The dough was chewy.We are from the northern NJ area and we know good pizza. This is forgettable. Gave them 2 tries, I'm done won't be back. read more

We have been waiting for a great place on the North end of the boardwalk for years!!! Shore Slice finally answered our prayers!!! The food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly. My family ordered a corn dog, a Philly cheesesteak, a chicken cheesesteak, a specialty pizza slice, and boardwalk fries. Everything tasted amazing and fresh! Especially the french fries dipped in the signature Sweet Chili sauce. We will definitely be back for lunch and late night snacks. Highly recommend this place.
