What are these guys thinking!? A couple showed up at my fabricators shop asking for my slab remnants. They knew my first and last name, what type of countertops I bought and how many slabs. My fabricator told the people NO and called me right away. When he asked them where they got this information, they replied Marble Express. There's really no other place that would have had all that info. Apparently these people didn't need an entire slab so Marble Express told them who may have some remnants! I am appalled that these guys gave out my information to complete strangers! What a disappointing business! read more

If you have a similar experience to mine described below or are just not happy with Marble Express, try contacting Jason Gerber before giving up on them. After reading my review he contacted me to attempt to resolve my complaints, personally. He was legitimately appalled by my experience and offered to go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He obviously cares about his business but has employees that need to care. I'm sure he is addressing this. My business was concluded with Daltile so I did not take advantage of his offer. I am glad that I let him know about the issues at his business. This may have been taking a toll on his profits and he may have been wondering why. Zero stars if I could have. Avoid this place!!!!!! Dodged a big bullet today. I went there to buy 5 slabs of granite for my new house that I'm building. When I arrived I had to seek out someone to help me by going back into one if the offices. Despite the fact that I had a list of the Slabs that I needed from my design center, they handed me a piece of paper and sent me into the warehouse. This was after a lengthy search for a clipboard which they never found. I wandered down each aisle searching for my granite, which I never located. I was told that a guy by the name if "Manny" would meet me in the warehouse. He never showed. I went back to the office to tell them that I could not find my granite and that Manny never met me. She said "I'll try to page him". After another lengthy wait.....nothing. I went back to the office and handed the lady the paper she had given me and I told her I was going to Daltile. She said nothing.....no apology, just reached her hand out for the paper. She could care less. I'm sure 5 slabs of granite won't make or break their year, but this type of customer service will ruin a business. But, it's not her business so she doesn't care. Sad. I called back after I left and asked to speak to a manager. I was told her name was Dawn Bar but she was not available.....imagine that! I later did a web search of Marble Express and found horrible reviews which I will copy and paste below. My wife and I were talking to each other about our experience at Marble Express when we arrived at Daltile. A contractor overheard us and laughed. He said that one of his clients was telling him a similar story about Marble Express just 2 hours earlier. I now feel very lucky. I've used Daltile for my previous home and am using them again. We were fortunate to have Danny Efron meet us at the front door and guide us through the granite on display in the warehouse and out in the yard. Danny proved to be completely knowledgeable of the entire product line, providing excellent suggestions and insight in our search for just the right granite that had a great look and that would meet our requirements. They have a great selection of slabs from inexpensive to exotic, and great quality. I used to go to Bedrosians or Stone Trade for my slabs, but now I only come here. Prices are very reasonable, but don't expect to pay bottom of the barrel prices for high grade stone. Some other places may be cheaper but their stone is usually all full of filler and doesn't look as nice. They also have unique trim and accent pieces. Usually service at stone and tile places are terrible - either they ignore you, or are way too pushy, or don't want to try to help you find options for your budget. I had several projects I needed stone for and my sales person Leor was super helpful in giving me ideas of how to stretch my budget while still getting something nice. He was very patient and made sure I was 100% happy with my order. read more

I learned about this business after seeing them on Flip or Flop Vegas. I was excited to see what their offerings were because I need to redo the countertops for two kitchens and the vanities to four bathrooms. My husband went to the warehouse and was very impressed with the selection. We were given the name of one of their contractors, Jose, and told that he would come out to our house to measure for our project. He stated that he would be able to come out that same evening to measure. Great! Then shortly after, we received a text that he would not be able to make it out that day. Okay, no problem. After all, it was such short notice. He rescheduled for Memorial Day (Monday.) We were very surprised that he would work on a holiday, and he said that he would contact us the day before to set up a time. Sunday night passes, Monday morning arrives with no word from Jose. We call and text around 9, he texts back that he would call before 2 to arrange a time. 1:39 rolls around and we get a text,"Boss am really sorry for today is there anyway we can meet tomorrow at any time all my family is here and am the cook." So we reschedule for the following day (today) for 5:30-6pm. Here I am at 7:02pm and still a no show. Nothing but excuses that he is in Henderson and it's been 90 minutes and that there's traffic, and that he's received a speeding ticket, and on and on and on with the excuses. We call him to cancel the appointment because it's getting too late and we have young children we need to get to bed, and he sort of apologizes, but the attitude is basically that he doesn't need our business. Fine. This is absolutely ridiculous. After getting blown off time and time again by their recommended contractor, I don't think I want to use their company at all!! I recently helped a client purchased a new house in Buffalo Ranch, so I went to select the granite counter top for them at Marbel Express. The service and the selections are awesome! I can't say enough how satisfied I am with Marble Express and Danny Efron. I combed the valley looking for a close match to my existing granite and found what looked to be an exact match at Marble Express. Because the piece was a single, Danny was able to offer a great price. I found Danny to be extremely knowledgeable of his product and treated my wife and i like a VIP's, though we were only purchasing a single piece. Danny also provided names of several installers that the store works with and that Danny stated did quality work. This made for one stop shopping. i called one of the referred installers, who came out immediately and offered a very fair price. Between Marble Express and the installer, I was made to feel that no job is too small, and was not placed on the back burner. I would highly recommend Marble Express. read more

Great selection. Bad business people. We purchased our slab here and, as reported by others, the practice seems to be offer one price and then when you go to pay hike it up. Substantially. I did not realize they did this to my contractor for the slab until after I made a purchase for tile. Will not be returning. Will likely be filing a complaint with the contractor's board and looking into deceptive trade practices. Here is a tip, just offer the price you want to sell it for. Don't change the price when the person returns to pay for it. And do not charge a 2% fee for taking an order over the phone. You're making enough money don't you think? read more

We had picked and approved a slab at Marble Express. Meanwhile I took a quite few pictures of the slab at different angles just for my own hobby. We ourselves also placed a couple of "sold" stickers in yellow to the slab surface, which were special stickers and hard to be removed. But I would never think my hobby enabled me to find out an immoral behavior of Marble Express. After the contractors fabricated the slab and was ready to install the counter top, they shot another picture to show me how the edges being trimmed and overall the slab movement. I compared the pictures of the original slab picked at the shop floor and the one hauled to my house. Unbelievably shocked, the slab had been changed. The slab flow was noticeably different. I can not imagine a company supposedly in the business for so long, will pull such a cheap trick. Considering the slab we picked was on the top of same pile of slabs as well as we placed stickers on the surface, there was scarce chance for someone to make careless mistake. Once the forklift came to pick up the slab, it would naturally pick up the top slab and trucked away for fabrication, not to mention the surface top with yellow "sold" stickers. So it was not hard to come to a conclusion that such "error" was intentionally made. I do recommend anyone read this commentary to realize that you are dealing with an unethical company and can't be trusted. If you have to pick up a slab from Marble Express, make sure you take many pictures for your future reference. I have to pick one star in order to publish this post, otherwise I definitely give no star. read more

I bought a slab of Granite from Marble Express. My salesman's name was Danny. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. A new shipment came in of the Granite I wanted and the next day I went back and he had already picked out a piece he new I would love since the one I originally wanted was sold to someone else. I saw the piece and loved it. He also made sure I saw a few more just to be sure I was satisfied which I really appreciated. He has the patience of Job!! He set me up with a very reasonable contractor as well. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend this place and Danny to my friends and family. read more

Sometimes I wish I would read these reviews before going to any place to do business. I was referred to this place by my contractor and was very disappointed with their service. I first arrived and was left alone to look at the whole warehouse by myself. My contractor finally arrived and I went with quartz, placed the order. When my contractor went to pick it up it was damaged so we had to wait for a new order or I had I could choose a new color to speed up the process. I went to marble express to pick a new color and I asked Manny if he needed to make any notes of my changes he said "No". Next thing you know some girl is calling me while I am at my work unable to answer my phone stating that there was no notes of the change and that my installer was there trying to pick up a different color wich by the way they did not have in stock. Mind you Manny said they did. So now It's another week for shipment to come in. My point is the service was horrible I ended up having to wait three weeks to get my order. At that point I had asked my contractor for a new referral as I was done with them and did not want to give them my business after being treated so poorly. So I did get referred to daltile just down the street I ended up not going with them wich was a shame. Miguel at that location offered excellent customer service walked with me through the warehouse explaining their products, prices etc., They also had better prices!! So when marble express called to let me know they finally had the quartz I decided to go with them since I had been waiting three weeks already. They were willing to match the price from daltile however; as of today almost a week and half later I still have yet to see my refund. read more

We just bought a house and were not to sure what we wanted, Danny took the the time to explain granite vs marble vs quartz etc. He took us through their whole warehouse and the outside yard showing all the slabs and what are options were. We just built a new home in Las Vegas, our builder referred us to Marble Express. We were unable to go to the showroom to make our selections because we were moving from out of state. Manny, with Marble Express, took pictures of slabs he had in the showroom and emailed them to me so I could make selections. He always responded to my emails within a few hours and took pictures of all the slabs used in our home. I asked that he get as many of the gold swirls in the granite as possible. When we arrived last week to close escrow we were both VERY impressed with the granite installation!! Manny far exceeded our expectations. I mostly wanted to write a review so that I could give Valerie a great review. Being a receptionist is a very hard and usually under-appreciated job, but she is very friendly and great at being a receptionist. She was very helpful to me both times I've visited Marble Express so far, as well as dealt with all my phone calls regarding a certain slab I wanted that I couldn't find anywhere else. I'm not going to lie the slab I bought was pricey- but the heart wants what the heart wants. I hope everything goes well when I pick my slab up that I put on hold! I'd also like to mention this was the second place I searched for slabs- the first place had very few options and this place has literally rows and rows of slabs to look at and compare.
