Those three things I can easily overlook; my focus was entirely on how they craft their time-honored sweet treats. ​The Peanut Butter Cup Perfection immediately caught my eye. Since this was my initial visit, I opted for the 'Like It' size, their term for a small. Seeing that it was made with Reese's, I expected to fall in love instantly. Well, it's more of a 'yes and no' situation. ​The good news was that it came to me perfectly cold, a welcome relief considering Houston summers make the Sahara look like Antarctica! However, the ice cream itself was simply too rich and thick. Even eating it outside in the heat didn't help much with the density. Word to the wise: don't forget the napkins when you get your order(s), because you'll definitely need quite a few! ​An incredible thing I noticed was that Bonchon and Cold Stone are actually connected, so much so that I even saw an employee wearing a Bonchon polo shirt inside Cold Stone. I got my ice cream and started eating while continuing on my conversation. The lemon custard looked wrong, but it was under the pralines and cream, so I decided to enjoy my ice cream and worry about that when I got to that part. Sure enough, it wasn't lemon custard. It was mango, which was back to back with the lemon custard. Ordinarily, I probably would've just continued on eating it and not said anything because mango is pretty good and I occasionally enjoy a mango smoothie. However, the lemon custard is my ABSOLUTE favorite and not very many locations even have it. So my heart was pretty set on it. On top of that, mango sometimes hurts my tummy and that late at night I wasn't willing to chance it. Since I had a cone, I told them about the mix up and just asked if I could get the lemon custard in a cup. Obviously they couldn't reuse the mango, and I wasn't going to eat it. I threw it away, but tried to at least save some of my cone to have with my lemon custard. They were very nice and helpful that late in the evening. There was another person who ordered a mango smoothie and ended up with a mangonada. She didn't want it and I don't know if she gave it away or threw it away, but she ended up with nothing because she didn't tell them about the mistake. It was a good time with friends, and I will go back. I will also make sure to watch as they're scooping so I get the right thing the first time.

The space itself is a bit smaller and has a mural reflecting the geographic area you are in and suburb. I also wanted to add that there is actually a drive thru for convenience. The only hiccup I encountered this visit was that the staff member did not know anything about the loyalty program and that lies on the mgmt team to make sure this important part of any brand knows this.
