We ordered a Coffee Shake and a Strawberry Shake. The Coffee Shake was by far the best shake out of the two -- actually, it was the best shake I have ever tried anywhere. It was strong in flavor, and the texture was smooth. If you enjoy Starbucks frappucino, you should definitely try out Marble Slab Creamery's Coffee Shake! The Strawberry Shake was delicious, but it can be a bit overwhelming. If you're a strawberry addict, I would recommend their Strawberry Shake -- there are real strawberries in it! We went in yesterday around 8:15pm and wow truly two of the best guys I have ever seen work in a long time in Burleson. Y'all hit the jackpot with those two. Line out the door the whole entire time and not once did they seem defeated or change their attitude. They both knuckled down and worked as hard as the could to make sure everyone got what they needed and gave good service. And now days that's almost impossible to find. Amazing kids truly outstanding work ethic and Titus's. Do whatever you guys can as a company to keep them and take care of them! My boyfriend and I visited this location on July 30th at around 6:30pm. There was a young man and young woman working. There were a lot of people, so there was a wait, but my boyfriend and I didn't mind and it's not their fault there were a lot of people. However, we are in the middle of a pandemic and there were well over 25 people in this tiny establishment. Why aren't there X's on the floor? I haven't gone to a single business that had so many people in such a small space. Why not have X's on the floor and then X's on the outside of the shop to make a line? People were basically a foot away from each other. Why not have a "take a number" system and just call people by their number? Or using the texting system where people can input their phone number and they'll get a text when they're next in line? What's the excuse? Now, let's just hypothetically excuse the fact that the building is small, so since it's hard to stand six feet apart, they just don't enforce it at all. And they may not enforce it so that customers don't take out their inconvenience on the employees (which is terrible on the customers part). The one thing that can and is supposed to be enforced by law is the mandate to wear a mask when inside a business. If the business can't help to not stand six feet apart, you should be enforcing your employees to be wearing their masks. The young man was wearing his mask pretty much on his chin. You could clearly see his mouth and his nose and upon further inspection, he was also wearing his mask inside out and upside down. I can understand that it can get hot under the mask and it can make it difficult for people to understand what you're saying under the mask, but there is absolutely no excuse to not be wearing a mask right now. There are people who work in extreme conditions and have underlying health conditions that are STILL wearing their masks appropriately. There is no excuse to not be wearing a mask, ESPECIALLY when you are working with people's FOOD. The young woman was wearing her mask appropriately. However both of them were not wearing gloves either. I question if the people in this business have their Food Handling Licenses, because when handling food, you should always be wearing gloves. We are in the middle of a pandemic and Texas is a hotspot for COVID-19, with numbers growing daily. In the nation there have been over 130,000 deaths. I would hope that the business and their employees would take this seriously. I will no longer be going to this location and if you care about your loved ones during this pandemic, I highly suggest you don't come to this location either. read more

I've been to this location a handful of times. Ice cream is delicious & the best around! Customer service, on the other hand, is terrible. Last night i came in 8:45pm. No line. I ordered a milkshake and was told the milkshake machine was off. I was baffled as it only takes about 5 minutes to make and confused as to why the sign says open but he was not going to serve me. I was aware it was 15 minutes until closing, but i had a late night craving. Turned around and stormed out. I took my $6 and went and bought a bucket of Blue Bell ice cream. If yall are going to act like mcdonalds then you need to charge like mcdonalds! Another time i came in and there was about 3 families a head of me. It took about 30 minutes to get my milkshake. It was delicious and worth the wait. But why was there only one girl helping all of us on a sunday evening, the busiest of the week im sure. There was 2 other employees but they were both in the back. They just left her to help all these people by herself! My go to flavors are normally sweet cream, cheesecake, amaretto, and red velvet. You have to mix it with other candy and chocolate, it adds a good crunch to it. If you pass by here I promise you'll be back. Staff are very down to earth. It has cute little benches on the inside if u want to just sit and enjoy. So I like mare slab and 99% of my marble lab experiences. This was not one of the best. I've been here before and it was better but today we walked in. We were completely ignored for several minutes. The guy in front of us was finishing his transaction and as payment offers up a condom instead of payment as a joke. Turns out he is an employee who came in while he was off. They continued to talk with him, joke, etc and ignore us for quite a bit after (we were the only other customers). Eventually one person talks to us and starts to help, but even the other person realized he was distracting their work. While I was ordering that started saving their waffle bowls in trash bags. While I'm sure they were clean, this is pretty off putting to see as a customer. I was going to order one but in seeing that changedcmy mind. The one and only employee who helped us or even really acknowledged us did a good job with the ice cream. The ice cream tasted pretty good. After dinner my boyfriend and I decided on Marble Slab. Big mistake. HUGE. We walk in and weren't greeted (per usual) and a younger Hispanic man came to help me, while my boyfriend waited for the TWO other employees who were literally on their phones the entire time we were in there. One was an older white lady in all white so I assume the manager who was texting away then was on the phone with a friend. However the other Hispanic girl was hunched over the counter by where they make the waffle cones very intently watching something on her phone not looking up one time!! So I ask the younger Hispanic boy "Are they on there break, or can they make his ice cream?" He smarted off and said "Who my sister, no she is good, I'll help you" .... I'm sorry what???? He makes mine then it comes time to make my boyfriends. His was super simple- Cheesecake with Oreos and Reese's. They were out of Reece's.... may I point out that there was a grocery store a few suites down and a gas station across the street. Again...???? I worked for another popular food and ice cream restaurant and being out of a very popular candy item was not allowed someone had to go and get some from a store near by... We wont be back. On July fourth 2 hours before closing the guy who attended me was very upset that he had to close the shop and was just on his phone - only asked for my order and informed me my total. I received an email confirmation. Then I kept trying to call the day of to tell them my son would pick it up. Their phone was on Fax machine (with a high-pitched buzz ring sound). When they finally answered (with the ring noise in the background), they claim they never received the online order. Not only are the flavors so incredibly dull compared to Coldstone, but the customer service...well actually it's about the same for all of these Hulen locations including Chili's and 5 Guys. Are the workforce around the area that lazy or does management not give a shit about providing decent service and product? I can't tell which. I'm just hoping Marble Slab management will see this and fire/hire some people and (even better) Coldstone will put a store somewhere nearby because this is simply a pathetic excuse for an ice cream shop. read more

Marble Slab Creamery on Hulen St is my one of my favorite ice cream places around Fort Worth! They have a wide array of ice cream choices and waffle cone selections. Many good toppings such as pecans, toffee, peanuts, almonds, and much more. My favorite ice cream is the coffee or pina colada and mix it with almonds or peanuts then it is even more amazing. Its a little pricey but as the small cup/cone is $3.99, med $4.99, and large is $5.99 but worth it. I like coming here during the evenings and sit outside on the bench and eat the ice cream when it is not hot outside. The people that work here are very friendly and ensure your ice cream comes out to your exact specifications. I signed up for a rewards program but keep losing my card. So make sure you sign up for this so you can receive a discount when you make 5 purchases. I will definitely be back here again when I get the craving for some good ice cream. read more
