Great place. I found the choice of premade cones very comprehensive, fun, and a good overall mix. I also thought they had quite a choice of different flavors of ice cream, and they were happy to go ahead and substitute where you wanted. The staff was super friendly, and also very efficient. The ice cream was superb. The ice cream is very fresh, with no ice crystals. The cone was also very fresh and crunchy. Also, the portions were very generous. I came here on Saturday with my niece and nephew and we stood in line for about 30 minutes. There was literally only one person working the line was out the door. The yogurt machine was not working and several of the flavors were apparently too icy to be served. The ice cream itself was good and the person working did a good job mixing the flavors, however I found the wait time unacceptable. read more

They make everything fresh here! It was so yummy! And I got a free small cone because it was my birthday . The girl who helped me was SO sweet! Great customer service- and great ice cream. Watch out for the regular/small scam. Ask for a small, receive a regular, ask why it's bigger than usual, "no, this a small", cashier expects you to pay for a regular... Guy who served your regular "small" is nowhere to be found.... Same thing happened to the couple behind us. Marble Slab corporate- is this the representation that you want for your company? Came in for dessert with a friend after having lunch at Freebirds next door because it was blazing hot outside and wanted some ice cream to cool us down some. Both my friend and I ordered smalls. I had vanilla and my friend ordered cotton candy. I guess they were almost out of vanilla b/c she scraped what was left and gave me my bowl with my three toppings. I waited for my friend and she gave her SIGNIFICANTLY more ice cream in her bowl and didn't even ask her if she wanted any toppings. (which my friend did but she didn't tell me until we were already out the door. If I had known I would've definitely said something as I am not as nice as my friend is.) She basically just put the ice cream in a bowl and just handed it to her. Even though I did not get the same amount of ice cream as my friend I was okay with that since the amount I had was the perfect amount until I went to pay and she said 5 dollars. I looked at the menu and told her 'but a small is 4 dollars' to which she replied with 'we ran out of small cups so I gave you a regular.' I looked at the lady and stated I did not ask for a regular I asked for a small and if you ran out of small cups then you should've put a small serving in a regular cup.' To which she replied with 'I gave you a regular serving.' I looked at her and told her 'This doesn't even look like a regular serving. My friend's looks like a regular serving which you probably gave her because you didn't run out of ice cream.' Then she states 'Well what do you want me to charge you, 4 or 5?' And I told her I want you to charge me for what I asked for and SHE ENDED UP CHARGING ME 5 DOLLARS. At this point I am livid, there are customers behind me so I am whatever at this point, and I definitely told her how I felt about her and how she ran her business. She even had the nerve to ask if I could pay with cash. I asked her 'Why? Do you have a credit limit?' Which they do not, she just didn't want to pay the credit card fee! Needless to say this is the WORST MARBLE SLAB I have even been to and I will not be returning unless management changes. read more

I cannot believe how good this ice cream is. I swear they put crack in it, I try to scope out a marble slab after lunch if it's in range I work all over the DFW area so I know just about where they all are. I just can't help myself it seems like it's kind of expensive it is but this is not Bluebell it is one of a kind I recommend the vanilla with Butterfinger in a waffle cone. read more

Never purchase an ice cream cake from this place! They're nothing like the samples they have online, you're better off going to kroger. If I wasn't in a rush I wouldn't have paid for it, it was a cookies and cream cake. the lady gave me a completely white colored cake, no decorations, no designs, no coloring of any time. I gave her a look and I said "this is it?" with a disappointed face, she said I can add cookie crumble so I agreed. It tasted fine but again it was a completely white cake, NOTHING LIKE THE CAKES THEY HAVE ONLINE. Very disappointed. This place is racist !!! I am a regular I walk in the door they are open it's 9pm people sitting at tables three customers in front of me and the lil boy working very rude refused to serve me and then ignored me it's so sad that there's still places that choose or refuse to serve you based on if they choose too! I am taking my regular service else where very sad!!! I went right next door to potbelly and Robert was very kind to me he said sure I will serve you I work in healthcare my hours are long these days due to pandemic and it's nice to have ice cream . So marble slab keep putting negative karma on your business customers make or break a business and see the abundance you attract. I advise anyone who values self take ur business elsewhere support local good people like Robert at potbelly get a strawberry milkshake at least he will greet you serve you at 9pm when u walk in the door when they close at 9. Kinda dirty in here.... people serving the ice cream up need to wear company uniforms or polo shirts..not street clothes. Girl who waited on us had a crop top on, belly showing and a jacket. No gloves to serve ice cream and took our debit card, ran machine and then went back to scooping ice cream. Oh she kept pushing her glasses up on her nose while continuing to mix ice cream. Other guy working there had a bad cough. A visit from the County Health Department is needed and more training in proper food service handling and infection control measures. read more

The franchise owner was very receptive and accommodating, however when I went back to complete my custom order the " manager" was not as receptive and did not complete my request as promised.... Cut corners. I called a minute ago and was unable to talk to owner, " manager" was defensive and not apologetic for the "error" and I doubt I will go back there even though the ice cream was amazing!!! It smells, it's dirty, the slab isn't scrapped clean after each use--if I wanted to have strawberry with my ice cream I'd ask for strawberry-- the staff isn't very friendly, and finally the price. $5.00 for a small!! Not thrilled by the service and when I was there on 4/24 the CC machine was down so she asked for my card number to run later. Today 4/26 I get a call from them now asking for my address and security code??? That's a lot of info!! I'm not processing an eBay or Amazon purchase.
