I went here tonight with my husband and was very disappointed. The selection was very limited as far as toppings go, one of the staff members was yelling at other patrons, and they were flinging the ice cream that was made on the counter, almost slinging it off. I understand it's stressful being busy, especially for a Saturday night. However, being rude to your customers is not a way to keep business. We live off of Mason Rd. and will happily make the drive to the one near 99/1093 before we go to this location again. read more

The ice cream is consistently the same. The waffle cones and cups sometimes taste stale while other times taste fresh. Service is nothing remarkable but adequate and par for an establishment only requiring the employee being 16 years or older. The decor is adequate borderline dated. The lower star review is based upon the overwhelming smell of cleaner / cleaning supplies is off putting. Also makes the delicious thoughts of ice cream turn into thoughts of Pine Sol Ice Cream with a Fabuloso mix in. Go ahead, smell the to go cups 10-15 minutes after leaving the store. This lady that looks like a Maria, refused to make me a root beer float after I saw it in the menu then has the nerve to give a smaller order than I asked for ( periodt. ) if she doesn't get properly reprimanded i will be utterly upset. Really? This place sucks. I got there at 10:50 p.m. And they already locked their doors. There were several employees still in the ice cream parlor, but they said "We're Closed" through the glass door. The sign claims they're open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays. Went there today, asked for 4 different ice creams. None were in stock... no vanilla, chocolate, red velvet or birthday cake.. what kind of ice cream shop does not stock ice cream basics? My husband and I went here to end a much needed date night. On our way we ran over some road debris. We made it to the parking lot before our tire went completely flat, thank goodness. Before the tire change we really wanted a sweet treat so we headed in. That night there was a tall blonde guy and a shorter brunette girl working. They were so much fun! They listened to our series of unfortunate events for the night and bantered with us like old friends. I say all this for everyone to know that we had great customer service and wonderful ice cream. Marble Slab has always been my favorite place to go for ice cream, but I will never again visit this location. It's very obvious that cleanliness is not a top priority. Aside from the stains on the window shades, the loose hairs stuck to everything, and the ice cream drippings all over the place that have hardened from sitting so long, the brownies in the brownie sundae and the waffle cones are stall and taste like they have been sitting out for weeks. There are three employees here but as I have sat here alone for the past 30 minutes, not one of them has come out to the main area of the establishment or cleaned a single thing up. I refuse to spend my hard earned money for ice cream in a dirty, careless establishment. read more

Wished I had looked at the current rating of this place before we came here. They have a handwritten sign on the door with numerous misspellings about all the coupons and deals they do NOT accept. We had bought a Groupon which was promptly declined. The employee was very curt, bordering on rude, barely spoke. Ice cream is good but is practically melted already when you receive it. Very rich, and very expensive. A smaller portion and less expensive price tag would be much better, and would not make you feel sick afterward.
