This is a glowing review for the new chiropractor at Life Within, Dr. Saahil (pronounced "saw-hill"). He was amazing! Similar to a deep tissue massage when a practitioner is highly skilled, Dr. Saahil's adjustment was extremely thorough but never painful. I have degenerative disc disease, which gives me a constant level of pain in low back and hips around 5/10. After an acupuncture treatment, I was able to get my inflammation down so the pain was only 2/10. I thought that was as pain-free as I'd ever be, but it was my first adjustment with Dr. Saahil that took my pain even lower and had me at 0/10 where my pain was totally absent for the first time in years! I will definitely continuing seeing him on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My plan it to come in twice a week for a while until my spine is no longer slipping back out of alignment, and then coming in once every 1-2 weeks for maintenance because I can really see how beneficial it is for my body to be properly aligned. Kudos to the office for being set up to take an FSA and HSA as well, which makes the cash payment rate even more affordable. read more

I took her to the vet and he said nothing's wrong with her $1400 later. So I told him I'm gonna bring her to a chiropractor to get adjusted. I think she's out of alignment. Sure enough her atlas was way off. After a few adjustments she no longer had the head tilt. Did not work for me. I saw all the great reviews and had high expectations. I walked in and the office felt chaotic as it was "happy hour" so the vibe was happy but people were coming and going. I reserved judgment and continued. Had an initial assessment with Ricky and then an adjustment with Dr Marc. I was not in good shape as I had a knee injury that was extremely painful . He is a very sweet man and I am certain he does amazing things for his patients. But I left there with a intercostal muscle strain from an adjustment he did to my left upper body. It felt like a rough adjustment and these strains are very painful and take weeks to heal. So I was disappointed in the outcome. To his and his offices credit, they reached out to me a couple of times and offered me to come back in but I have had 40 years of chiro and this is not my brand of chiropractic. sometimes it is just not a match. read more

Having come from Canada a few years back and looking for years to find a chiropractor in San Diego, I just never found one as good as my doctor in Canada until I found Life Within. My son, was in a horrible car crash on this past Wednesday morning early. Got him in to see Dr. Marc with in 2 hours of the wreck. We then alternated ice/heat and anti inflamatory meds, muscle rubs on his neck and back, and by Thursday eve, as he played goalie in water polo for Grossmont HS against Coronado HS he was a beast! Beat them 15-8 (first win against Coronado in Grossmont HS history). Had him back in to see Dr. Marc on Friday morning before school, and then he had another game against Valhalla, where GHS beat them 9-8! You don't get movement like these pics out of someone in such a bad crash with out the magical hands of Dr. Marc and his chiropractic work!
