My kitchen was damaged by water and HOA hired this company. From the beginning, this company was professional and fair in price. The owner of the Company came to visit me after estimate was done to make sure I understood timeline for repairs and what would occur. The contractors he hired were professional and streamlined in service as his own staff was in work. I have natural wood floor near kitchen, and I was insistent the floors be protected and this company was VERY detailed in that effort. Plus, every contractor that arrived at my door vacuumed and cleaned after they repaired something. Clean freak I am, I was impressed. My hoa hired them to do mold remediation. Not only did they break my tv, they did a lousy job on the baseboards and they barely put one coat of paint on the walls and didn't touch the ceiling, the closet doors were filthy, the mold wasn't cleaned off of there at all. It cost me quite a bit to finish the painting and I haven't dealt with the broken tv yet. Seriously disappointing. They didn't allow me a final walkthrough either, they skulked out in a pretty shameful way. I heard they used to be good. That wasn't my experience. read more

NEVER!!! Use this company. They screwed up everything they touched. They couldn't patch a small tiny hole in the wall correctly. They lost the key to my apartment. I had water damage in the living room and kitchen and the had to repair part of the wall and ceiling. They textured the ceiling and wall. They went into my closed door bedroom and removed two of my fans and used them to dry the ceiling and ruined them. THEY ENTERED MY BEDROOM WHEN I WASN'T HOME AND REMOVED MY PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They repaired the ceiling in the living room, AFTER 3 TRIES IT IS STILL WAVY AND NOT FLAT!!! AT the end they did a lousy job cleaning the rug...how hard could that be. read more

Due to some under-floor water damage, we had Marcco Flood Restoration come in to restore the wood laminate flooring. They pulled up the old, damaged flooring and brought in huge fans to dry out the substructure and drywall near the floor. Once that was done, we selected new flooring and they installed it, patched and repainted the drywall, and replaced the baseboards. They gave the place a thorough cleaning, including the furniture. As it was an mid-sized job they were able to complete it in just under three weeks. When I stopped by to talk to Marco on the last day, I saw that they had moved all of the furniture back to almost the exact spots. They had used an iPad to take photos before they moved anything so they could put it all back correctly. Now, that's professional! Overall, I'd give them 6 out of 5 stars. read more

Let me begin by saying that Marco was very professional in all senses of the word in the initial engagement of assessing the situation. That would be where the professional part of this engagement ended. The assessment of the water damage was minimal by his own readings which I witnessed. A small leak from an exterior window caused the drywall to break down about a foot by a foot square/rectangle. Very minimal by Marco's own admission though he tried to make it sound like anything was possible. I asked for a quotation to do the whole job, meaning, repair the cause of the leak, fix the damage due to the water leak, and repair wall and reinstall the wood builtin office furniture that would need to be removed to make the repair. He said he does not do the exterior remediation, so I said ok understood. I asked for a quotation to remediate and repair interior. He said yes, so it begins. Never received the quotation requested..just $1750 for his remediation of water which was minimal..at best and had no detail as to what was included for that amount. $500 in paper that was in the quote to protect wood floors and his people actually damaged them even though I asked about the extreme price of the paper and clean up (which as you will see he never cleaned up). I found out later it was not appropriate to protect wood floors, but he was not around any longer to discuss that. I waited as he was not responsive after we said we would accept, thinking we were going to repair the wetness, the wall and place everything back as original for that price, a big mistake as we waited. Once he finally began after repeatedly attempted to engage, his work failed, the drying tent failed and they wanted me to repair it....really $1750 for this. They wanted me to tape up the tent! I said we are paying you $1750, you need to repair your issue. As you will see Marco thought this was too demanding to actually do his job, more on that later. Then once the water was dried out, I guess it was dry, the exterior which he would not repair was not done as I was scrambling for someone to repair it. Earlier I had asked Marco for some references for exterior repair. They supplied me with two. I called each of them and found that they knew nothing about Marco Flood Restoration, another sign, but we were already into thing at this point. Fortunately, one of the roof repair companies, who were excellent by the way, helped me out by fixing the outside and came out twice for no cost whatsoever, imagine that, they fixed the exterior for free! Once the outside was repaired, I asked for a quotation again for the interior restoration because now we realized that Marco had put one small sentence at the bottom of the quote that said it was not for restoration of the interior only drying out the wall, no dice, even after several requests, he would not provide a quote for interior restoration. This was my mistake, I asked him several times for a complete quote and he played the game of not producing it and I missed the one sentence that excluded that work. Ok, onward and upward, so I continued to asked for the quote to restore the interior as it was before. You must understand now, that many weeks have passed with a torn up office and paper and blue tape running all through the house, they had removed their equipment but left the tent and paper and the mess. I had asked him to call me as he was out of town, he did not call me as requested. Instead he called my wife whom he had never spoken to nor had her phone number as the primary contact, another ploy to avoid the situation. He told her that he had accomplished his task and was complete even though the request was to complete the interior would be separate. Marco said he would supply a quote to complete the interior by Monday after speaking on Friday to my wife. The quote never came only after requesting again did he supply a quote a week and half later with our house still in disarray. He finally sent a quote for the restoration for almost $2000, look at the pics, not even close, $2000 for restoration on top of $1750? Once he had sent the quote (3pm) only a few hours later, by 6 PM he said he would be fine if we selected another entity to do the restoration work, pretty consistent with his entire game thus far, won't do exterior and would not do interior restoration even when asked and he replied yes before. Just tear apart the interior dry it out and leave it all torn up! He responded with, "Based on our most recent communications is clear to me that we have not met or will be able to meet your expectations, at his point we respectfully decline to continue working for you." ...from his response I had to wonder.....barring the miscue on my part of assuming he would restore the interior for the price of the initial quote, nothing else he did was correct or timely. much more but no space.....restoration done for $700 by reputable contractor! read more

I had a pipe burst in the wall of our new house on Thanksgiving weekend and Marcco Flood Restoration had handled a leak on the property for the previous owner. I called and Javier was at my home 45 minutes later. He was very professional and called Dependable Plumbing to put a patch on the pinhole leak in the pipe. He explained that Marcco Flood Restoration would work very closely with my homeowner's insurance to make sure that their estimate matched what my insurance would pay. The plumber put a patch on the leak and Javier installed industrial dryers to assist with the remediation. After I had the plumber replace the pipe, I noticed some damage on the floor of a different room that seemed to have been caused by the industrial dryers being pulled across my floor. I discussed this with Jonathan, the lead technician on my job, and he was very accommodating. He offered to fix the damaged floor at no additional cost and the repair looked as good as new. As for the flood-damaged room, the walls and flooring were repaired expertly, and the room now looks as though nothing had ever happened! I could not be more pleased with the staff, the work, and the kindness and professionalism displayed by everyone on this job, from Tammy at the office to Javier and Jon on-site. This could have been an extremely unpleasant and stressful experience, but thanks to the folks at Marcco Restoration, I was able to get through the leak problem with the people in my life saying, "Wow, you're so calm about this!" Marco came out and gave us two estimates, one for pack out storage pack in. I requested they send that estimate for pack out and storage to the insurance company also. They did not. I called and spoke with someone in the office about the job, how we already had the money to begin the job,but needed their pack out storage estimate sent to insurance- still they did not. They wanted us to sign over our insurance money to them after we received check payable to us to before starting work. The person I spoke with was and seemed to understand our situation and that we would be paying for the work. A contract has been sent twice wanting all money we received from our insurance adjuster signed over to them before they would start work, also the work would take three months and during that time we had to be out of the house, put up security at out home to protect their equipment, give them 24/7 access to our home. If anything happened to their equipment we would be held responsible. There was not one thing in that contract to our benefit. And after the conversation with the person I spoke to, telling her that we had the check and would be paying for all work, not our insurance I was still sent a contract stating we had sign the proceeds over to them before work could begin. Further, we would need to move off premises to allow them 24/7 access to our home to complete strangers for three months. Contract will not be signed. I think many business rely on people not reading the contract. read more

Due to flood damage in our home caused by a washing machine, we called Marcco Flood Restoration to inspect our home for damage. The came to our home immediately and promptly. They did an AWESOME JOB on the inspection....explained everything that would need to be done. Marrco and his assistant were kind, courteous and very knowledgeable about this business.
