I was very nervous about having a facelift, but after a great experience with Dr. Rocco Piazza, I decided upon his recommendation to have a consultation with Dr. Antunes. With absolutely no pressure, he discussed with me what he felt I needed- a brow lift, lower facelift, neck lift & chemical peel. He advised me to take some time to think about it & to call him if I had any questions. I actually had the procedures he recommended about three months later. I had a melanoma en situ on my nose and wound up with a good part of my left nostril including the rim gone. Dr. Antunes explained exactly the procedures that he would do and the time frame in which they would occur. That is exactly what happened. He even called me to check on me. Any question no matter how small I had was quickly answered by him or his efficient, professional office staff. This was a very stressful time for me, yet Dr. Antunes was always there to soothe my anxieties. I recently had an upper blepharoplasty done by Dr. Antunes. My upper eye lids genetically would hang over and it's something I was very self conscious about. Dr. Antunes performed a revision nose surgery after ~20 years from my previous one. It's been a few months since I had my procedure with Dr Antunes. I was very pleased with his work, every time I see him I say- "I can breathe!" So yes, he fixed my breathing issues, but more so than being a great surgeon and carrying for my health needs, I'd like to point out that his bed side manner is like no other. He listens to his patients. That started in his consult room when I first complained about my issue and lasted through surgery and post op ( a few months). As patients we like to know that our caregivers are the best medically (which he is), and care for us an individuals, know us by name, and return our calls when needed. I am so happy I did my research and found the Piazza center in particular Dr. Antunes I called and set up a appointment soon after I had my consultation I talked to the patient consultant Jennifer she is great she took photos asked me what my goals were for the procedure and exactly what I wanted done a otoplasty I soon met Dr. Antunes I can't say enough about him he looked at my ears told me expectations and what I wanted to be done. I then set up the otoplasty procedure in office at a later date. I'm now two months after my otoplasty and you wouldn't believe the difference it has made I can't thank Dr. Antunes enough and his staff for taking such good care of me. You wouldn't believe how this effects yourself esteem and confidence but it does. Dr. Antunes is exceptional! He did nasal reconstruction on 3 family members (myself included). Everyone was thrilled. Personally I never thought anyone could fix my nose.
