We had a wonderful Secret Garden Tea Party on Saturday, May 9th!! The food, and ambiance was like the tea parties you see on tv. The service was splendid, the staff catered to your every want! We had petit fours, tarts, a delicious ginger and carrot soup, deviled egg with goat cheese on a crostini and dainty tea sandwiches. Oh, lets not forget, the assortment of teas were great! I went during a visit in town and learned about the amazing work and impact of those restaurant. Parking was available. It's self seating. I got the three combo with chicken salad, white bean chicken chili soup, and grill cheese with pound cake. Everything was great and I enjoyed the experience. So let's talk about Jasmin Kitchen! I first learned about this delightful spot last year when I over heard someone planning to go to lunch there. Of course I'm always looking for new spots to visit and JK did not disappoint!! Their menu is mostly made up of lunch items, salad, soups sandwiches...BUT they offer this sampler where you get to choose 3 items on the menu and you get dessert or chips...all for $18!! Today I ordered a sampler that came with my choice of a slice of the bacon, spinach, mushroom, mozzarella, Parmesan QUICHE, the chicken salad wrap and the buffalo chicken soup...and for dessert the peanut butter cookie. Chiiiiiiiiiile let me tell you how this meal blessed my lunch life TODAY!! There's no way I would be able to eat it ALL in one setting but I was craving the quiche today and that buffalo chicken soup complimented it very well! I will eat the wrap and the rest of the soup for dinner. (I love it when you get enough food for two meals ) Now let me tell you that the menu changes frequently...not sure if it's weekly or monthly but they are definitely worth checking out!! The food is very flavorful and comforting. There was an overcast with 52 degree weather so this food made me want to curl up on a couch in front of the fireplace and bing watch Matlock or Downton Abbey episodes!! I don't really have anything negative to say about Jasmine Kitchen because not only do they have great food but their establishment also has a purpose! They provide employment and career building opportunities for women survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution and addiction! My only tiny gripe is that they don't use food delivery service!! (The only reason I don't give them five stars) I would probably order from them more often if they did because I work at the hospital and it's not away easy to get away...but God probably knows I'd be a big back if I could order from them all the time. I love the mission this place has! I can't think of a better place to come enjoy a great lunch and it goes towards a great cause. The food was delicious, the price is amazing for the portions they provide. They change the menu every 3-4 weeks, which means you can't ever get tired of their food. Everything was simply fresh and well prepared. I can't wait to come back to try other items from their menu. I really like how they have different options so you are able to have a small portion for each and get more of a variety. They also sell shirts, mugs, granola and other great stuff. As I walked in, I was blessed with such great smells! Their candles were incredible. Did you the candles and jewelry are made by survivors? I'm definitely going back to check them out. I grabbed my food and ended up eating in the car because I was on a time crunch. The portions I ordered were so big. I definitely could of gotten away with a small soup and just 1/2 wrap. I ended up having enough for dinner as well. Everything was delicious. The roll reminded me of the Asiago cheese bagel from Atlanta bread company, yum! The soup has great flavors and was very comforting to my stomach. The wrap was fresh, crisp and packed with chicken salad. The star of the show was the pound cake. That was probably one of the best pieces of pound cake I've ever had. This restaurant not only has a delicious lunch but it supports a great cause which makes you feel good about eating there. First time here today for lunch with my friend. The food was delicious, the lady came over to talk to us since it was our first visit she was super nice! The place was nice and clean the staff was friendly. The food is very reasonable priced , they only open for lunch 11-2:30. The parking lot fills up fast but you can park on the street in front of the of the establishment. They have soups, salads, sandwiches and sweets. The sizes are small, medium and large. I had the small creamy chicken & mushroom soup & Greek veggie orzo salad. Delicious My friend had gotten the Jamaican pepper pot stew soup she said it was good but spicy and fall market salad . Everything was delicious! If you haven't been you need to go you won't be disappointed! Everything is made fresh every day. It's basically eat clean , they have a lot to of keto, Gluten free and vegan foods. The food is so savory. You gotta go! read more

For $15 you select THREE offerings from soup, sandwiches and salads-AMPLE servings and dessert comes with it. I chose Cauliflower Soup, delicious mixed green salad and Turkey Havarti Po' Boy sandwich. Each choice was wonderful. We ordered at the counter and before I could sign my receipt, my order was up. We arrived early so finding a 4-top was easy. Everyone enjoyed their selections and the venue was comfortable and inviting so we lingered at the table for great fellowship. On top of all that.. Their food is outstanding!! They make everything in house from scratch. Using fresh ingredients! Their soups, salads sandwich's are great and change on a regular basis. Startlingly good. Went for the good cause, but come back over and over because the food is so craveable. And yet so healthy? I love to get the sampler and take home what I can't finish. Great food, fresh and perfectly prepared, pleasant place with nice outdoor (at indoor) seating, and a staff so friendly you can't help but walk away smiling. Give this one a try. You won't regret it. PS - the salted chocolate chip cookies alone are worth the trip! But also try the butternut wild rice salad, and the quiche. Actually...try everything. Haven't gotten a bad dish yet there.
