This little gem with a short walk from Margaritaville, and everything was so good. It was hot. It was fresh. It taste like it just came out of the ocean fresh like we really enjoyed it. Our server was really nice and helped with the menu because some of the things we didn't even know what they were, but she had really good suggestions and the place was really laidback. The vibe was like come to have a good time and eat a good meal. I had fried red snapper hands-down amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend. This place is a hidden gem. We stopped to look at the menu and spoke with the hostess/waitress. She is super nice. We told her we would be back after checking menu at neighboring restaurants. We came back, the food was awesome, Cuban tamale is amazingly good. She was super nice to my kids and very patient and informative. Was walking down the Boardwalk from the beach and noticed Marcos had $6.99 Pina Colada today and stopped in to get one. They pulled it was with a Food Order which the sign board clearly doesn't say. So many sandwich boards on the Beach are not accurate of the actual offer. They just think everyone will say OK and still buy. Never go here again! read more

This place is the definition of don't judge a book by its name. Yes, "deli" is in the name, but this Cuban spot is so much more. Let's start with drinks. My boyfriend and I got classic piña coladas, made fresh and served in a pineapple. Smoothest piña colada on Hollywood Beach, to be sure. The food comes in big portions and has a very home-like look and taste to it. I got the salmon with rice and salad and my boyfriend got the roasted pork with fries. Then, to pour salt on an open wound, they waitress added a 20% tip on the bill and said it was mandatory (against federal and state law because the menu did not warn the consumer of this practice). The waitress did not even deserve the standard 10%, typical in all of Latin America. She just dropped off the food, a warm beer, and took off to go stair at people on the beach, rather than walking around the tables to see if customers needed anything else. This is a great little place to stop in for a drink when walking along the boardwalk! It has a very family-oriented feel and the staff were incredibly friendly! We didn't personally eat there, but the food looked tasty! I ordered a pina colada, which was delicious and very affordable! My mom ordered a drink called Coco Loco, which was essentially fresh coconut water and an alcohol of your choosing - served right in the coconut!! We were lured into this establishment by the very sweet hostess. She sat us and gave us our menu..great. Then we get our waitress, Cintia. She simply leaned on the edge of the table, gave no eye contact, no smile, and said hi (still hasn't looked up). She asked us for our drinks. Food was mediocre. So now it's time to pay. She stands by my husband and reads out our bill. The menu states that they include an 18% tip. Ok fair enough because I'm sure a lot of tourists don't tip. So when my husband asked if the tip was included she said with a a bit of an attitude "yes, 20% but that's NOT only for me. That's for the hostess, the cooks, the...." We stopped listening and just gave each other "the look". I was so shocked that she got upset we caught on that the tip was included and was basically asking for more!?! I mean she took our drink order, food order, and then asked if we were ok and she was expecting MORE than $22 with her crappy attitude!?! We were there for about an hour. She didn't make the food, she didn't bring the food out or anything!?! We rather give it all to the hostess who had a much better attitude! The service was SO painfully slow. We walked up to the takeout window where there were 5 people in front of us who only ordered drinks. We waited 30 mins until it was our turn, obviously our own choice. We ordered two turkey, cheese, and Mayo sandwiches and two bags of chips. The total was $34 which seemed like a lot, but we had already waited so long. We waited another 30 minutes to get our food, which again were only sandwiches. The real pain came when we actually received our long awaited sandwiches. There was ONE slice of turkey (not even the fresh sliced deli kind), ONE slice of cheese, and no Mayo. I am still in disbelief that it took them 30 minutes to throw a piece of meat and cheese on bread and they had the audacity to charge so much for one slice of packaged deli meat.
