Even before you step into Mythical Pizza, you will catch the vibe. Royal Purple exterior with illustrated cryptids beckoning from the windows and doors. The enticing aroma of smoke from real pizza ovens in the air as you park your car. Then you enter and, honestly they had me at 5-stars on aesthetics alone. My husband said, "I hope the pizza is even a tenth as good as their branding!" And it WAS!!! Actually it was 100% as good. Absolutely delicious vegan pizza done right! And the veggie man vegan roll... Yum Yum Yum! Surprisingly affordable too. YEZ: vegan friendly YEZ: family friendly

This was soooo I good I ate it allllll, it was a bacon, pineapple, ricotta, cheese, spinach 10" pizza.

Very great staff! The staff was very nice and the young gentleman passing out the pizzas was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We came here last summer and she suggested adding a plain seltzer, called Squonk tears... wow - here it is!!!

Great fun - good food, hilarious and tasty drinks inspired by cryptids. I had Bigfoot birch beer

This is a creative, cool and interesting pizza place. The staff is kind and chill. They make pizza at higher quality than fast food but our 3 pizzas did take 15 minutes(worth the wait!). It provides a good family meal, not super cheap, but not expensive with very customizable offerings for all different types of Pizza. The store is very cool with a lot of knickknacks and merchandise for the brand of the store which are cute, silly and fun to look at! The store even has some arcade games that you can put coins into and play. It is definitely a family friendly restaurant and a cool place to hang out when you wait for your pizza or eat your creative pizza. We had 3 different pizzas. They were all amazing and eaten quickly! They were all well roasted, toasted, cheesy and yummy but one was better than the other two. One of them was super delicious with: corn, jalapeño peppers and barbecue sauce; A great USA style pizza. The other one was a vegetable lovers pizza, but it was kind of a letdown because while the screen you order on showed a bunch of vegetables on the vegetable lovers pizza, the only vegetable actually on the pizza we got was brussels sprouts. The last one was a super rich pesto cheese pizza which lived up to its cheeseolicous expectations. While we were there the workers seem very preoccupied with some drama(dramatic dialogue, jokes, and running around, the manager apologized for the hectic vibes) which was a little frustrating considering many of the tables had crumbs on them and weren't the most suitable to eat on. Still overall a good experience, with decently priced food and amazing tasting pizza, cool customizable options and a unique store, so I do recommend for families!

You know Planet Pizza in Toy Story and the Pixar movies? This place kind of reminded me of that! We came here during our Retreat to get a treat. Two of my friends on properties in the area and we were craving pizza. This place was close by and seemed interesting to us. We entered and were greeted with welcoming service and cool decor of mythical beasts and gift items. They also have ordering tablets as well for placing your order. The gentleman who helped us explained some of the different options and then we placed our order. We each got a few different types of pizza and they're known for their cool names and unique toppings. In addition to the cool Decor they also have a few arcade games that you are able to play while waiting for your pizza. I hopped on one of them with a buddy of mine who we were with and we got to game for a few. There were also some kids that were playing nearby and once we were done jumped on the arcade games and other activities. This place was clean and neatly organized. They also had a gift section wall that featured unique gifts including doctor squish House of dragons soaps which are hard to come by if you don't order directly from their website. We got our pizza in a timely fashion and check some out at the nearby clean tables inside. Once we were done inspecting the pizzas we headed back home but this was a cool spot to visit and I liked that they had many options to choose from. The pizza was also pretty dang good in my personal opinion but the seeming sold us on this place! I give it a 5 out of 5

My family loves Mythical Pizza! There were some kinks to work out with the ordering system when they first opened, but don't let those early reviews fool you -- they've worked everything out and the operation runs very smoothly now. You can eat in, pick up via Door Dash or Toast (I recommend the latter), and apparently they even deliver locally. My 5.5 year old inspired this review because he took a bite of his personal size pizza and exclaimed "I would give this place 15 stars." We've tried and enjoyed the speciality pies, but mostly love making our own. Plenty of toppings and drizzles to choose from, and the salads are also wonderful and fresh. So far I've only done pick up orders but the inside is very inviting. There are a handful of square tables, friendly employees, and some random decorations and things to look. Give Mythical Pizza a shot. They have everything you are looking for.

Located right along the river, it's a scenic place. The inside is equally as relaxing. We visited on a chilly day so my kids wanted to sit inside. We ended up getting a table, where they enjoyed drawing and using all the art supplies from the station inside the room. This unique business is a little grocery store with unique wines, gifts, snacks and other items you'd never imagine you could use, but suddenly seems like you need them! My kids were hungry, so I ordered them 2 personal pizzas. These were incredible. While they were frozen pizzas, the pizza was some of the best I've had. It was classic Neapolitan style with a delicious crust, cheese, topped with mico greens. My kids had a few bites but I feel like I ate more of their pizzas than they did! Inside the main dining room, they have a comfy couch, plenty of art supplies and other great toys to distract the kids. I'd highly recommend this spot. It will definitely be on our list of places to revisit when we come back to Berkeley Springs.

The restaurant is cozy and only has a few seating options in the main bar area. It's a nice atmosphere and we loved the booths. I ended up ordering exactly what I had when I visited a few years ago, which was the Chicken Christy. It's a delicious dish of chicken, topped with ham, cheese and heavy cream. The sauce is great, and the meal comes with multiple sides. I ended up getting sweet potato fries along witn a delicious salad and blue cheese dressing. My partner got the Philly Steak and Cheese. It wasn't quite as good as the real deal of a Philly cheesesteak, but he still enjoyed it. Our kids loved their meals, which was basically cheeseburgers. We were a little surprised they couldn't just do a basic pasta with sauce. But apparently, they don't have any tomato sauce at this place. Lastly, we enjoyed the great price on the wine. We ended up getting a bottle of red wine from Paso Robles, California. We love Paso. While we never heard of this particular wine from the region, it was really tasty and worth the price which was really reasonable. We would definitely come back. The space has a cozy, slightly speakeasy feel, with plenty of seating at the bar and tables for dinner. The music area is separate from the bar and dining area where we sat, which makes the layout feel lively without having the music sit directly on top of your entrée. There is also a related shop next door, The Naked Olive, where you can buy olive oils, balsamics, tapenades, and other dangerous things you convince yourself are "for later." By the time we were leaving early Saturday evening, they were getting ready for live music, which added to the local, come-stay-awhile feel. We started with a classic martini, and it was excellent. Perfectly balanced, cold, briny, slightly sweet, and served with blue cheese olives. A proper martini is not just a drink, it is a small personality test. We also tried the monthly special, the Dirty Devil, which I believe had bourbon, Coke, and salted caramel. It was good, but the classic martini was the clear winner for me. Service was friendly and helpful. I believe our server was James, and he helped us work through the menu without making us feel like we were preparing for a graduate seminar in small plates. They also honored us with a military discount, which I sincerely appreciated. Food wise, we ordered the Truffled Mushroom Pizza, which was genuinely good, with mushrooms, onions, peppers, and mozzarella. My only note is that the truffle was very subtle, maybe attending more in spirit than in full costume, but the pizza itself worked and I enjoyed it. We also had the Chicken Chesapeake, a sous vide chicken breast topped with crab and Chesapeake sauce. It came with a house salad and house vinaigrette, which was standard but good. As chicken breast goes, the entrée was well cooked, tender, and nicely finished. The crab and seasoning gave it some personality, which chicken breast often desperately needs. The mashed potatoes were hearty and solid. The vegetable du jour was the one underwhelming part of the meal; I am still not entirely sure what it was, and I do not think it was sure either. Overall, I enjoyed The Naked Olive Lounge. It may not be in my top three Berkeley Springs restaurants thus far, but it is definitely a solid entry in the local rotation. The ambiance is warm, the layout is comfortable, the service is friendly, the martinis are legitimately excellent, and the food is good, even if a few details could be stronger. The price point was reasonable, and I would happily come back, especially for a classic martini and live music.

Housed on the…read moreoriginal Lot #12 of the Town of Bath, the restaurant embraces its history without feeling like a museum where dinner happens to be served. It is warm, intimate, and genuinely connected to the town. Lot 12 offers a seasonal three-course prix fixe menu Friday through Sunday, and reservations are highly recommended. We were fortunate to be served by Betsy, Chef Damian Heath's wife. She was warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly invested in the experience. The service was excellent, with thoughtful pacing and the kind of attention to detail that feels effortless when done well. In a historic home, it would be easy for the setting to do most of the work. Here, the food and hospitality more than hold their own. The menu reflects a chef who is classically French-trained but not afraid to have some fun. We added an extra appetizer because choosing only one seemed unreasonable. The Southern Picnic included deviled eggs, pimento cheese bruschetta, candied bacon, and house pickles, essentially a Southern church picnic that went to culinary school. The fried green tomatoes were crisp and fresh, served with marinated mozzarella and basil aioli. The bread, baked on-site, came with olive oil infused with rosemary and herbs from the restaurant's garden. It was a small touch, but one that reflected the care behind the meal. The lobster bisque, one of the evening's specials, was exceptional: rich, silky, deeply flavorful, and unmistakably lobster, not merely lobster-adjacent. It may have been the best dish of the evening, although choosing a favorite felt unfair given how consistently good every course was. It was the kind of bisque that makes you consider ordering a second bowl, then resent the social conventions preventing you from doing so. Between the appetizers and entrées, we were served a bright, refreshing mango and ginger sorbet as a palate cleanser. For the entrées, we had the BBQ spice-rubbed duck breast and grilled cold-water lobster tail. The duck was beautifully cooked and paired with smoked confit duck hash, tart cherry demi-glace, and fresh fruit salsa. The lobster was sweet, tender, and finished with garlic herb beurre blanc. My only minor complaint is that I would have happily traded some of the mashed potatoes for more lobster. This is less a culinary critique than a personal philosophy. Dessert was equally strong. The upside-down pineapple cake with coconut sorbet was warm, nostalgic, and refined without becoming fussy. The individual Key lime pie leaned a little sweet, which worked for me, although those who prefer a sharper citrus profile may feel differently. The attention to detail was evident throughout the meal. The dining room is charming and thoughtfully decorated, the service polished without being stiff, and the food refined without becoming pretentious. There was no weak course, no service misstep, and nothing we would hesitate to order again. Lot 12 is not merely very good for Berkeley Springs; it would hold its own in a larger and more competitive dining market. We have been exploring the local restaurant scene, and so far, nothing else has come close. We will definitely be back. And if Chef Heath ever decides to sell that lobster bisque by the gallon, I already know where it is going in my refrigerator.
