Never will order from this Marcos again. Just started ordering from Marco's again after they delivered a pizza that they dropped to us. I ordered a pizza with no onions (allergic) and they put onions on it. Ok no problem but when I called she asked if I could pick them off. I decided getting the right pizza was best. When they got here the demanded to see the old pizza which was not only unprofessional but very tacky. When I called back I spoke to the store manager Nick and he could really care less about the situation and in so many words said to message the owners. Done and done read more

Not to be a pizza snob, but I'm from Chicago so I have definitely enjoyed a fair number of good pizzas in my 50+ years. In my opinion, Marco's is one of the best in the Detroit area, ESPECIALLY at their price point. The Chesterfield location is close to home & actually the only one I've been to. Great service, friendly people, and a nice pizza that won't cost a ridiculous amount. They always have good specials & coupons too! read more

Went to Marco's Pizza for the first time, as we had purchased some Restaurant.com certificates for local places around us. The only stipulation for the certificates from Restaurant.com was that you had to spend at least $20 to get $10 off. That being noted, we looked at the menu and chose to do their 1 Large specialty pizza + 1 large 2 topping pizza for $24. When we first got there, it did take some time for someone to place our carryout order. No big deal, I get it. We told the cashier at the start we were using the Restaurant.com certificate, which he was fine with. After we finished ordering our pizzas, he told us that we can't use the gift certificate with that promotion and that our bill was ~$35. After explaining to him that we were just confused, as it didn't say on the certificate that we couldn't use it with the $24 deal, he explained to us that it was "store policy". Not wanting to cause any further trouble, we simply chose to cancel our initial order and place an order for an XL specialty pizza. However, instead of cancelling our initial order, the cashier added the new XL pizza to it and said that we could use the certificate on that pizza only. So at this point, we had an order for 3 pizzas for some reason. We re-explained to him that we want to cancel the initial order, and place an order for ONLY the XL specialty, which was $19.95. He corrected his mistake, no harm done. As we finished placing our order, he informed us that we were STILL $0.05 short, and couldn't use the certificate. I understand being off by a dollar or so, but for 5 cents, I thought this was a little extreme. I know from prior places I've worked with a POS system that you can edit a customer's order to 5 cents extra (like we asked him to do it once we realized that he was nickel-and-diming us). Anyways, he continued to rant about "store policy". Ultimately, as we already had the certificate, we bought a 20 oz. drink to bring our pre-tax total above $20 in order to use the $10 off deal WE ALREADY PAID FOR ON RESTAURANT.COM. As for the pizza itself, it is GENUINELY nothing to write home about. We got the XL Meat Supremo with a Parmesan crust. We had asked for it to be "Well done": it was not. It didn't taste bad, but seeing as it was $20, it made it one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. I would 100% rather visit my local Sam's Club and pick up their 3 meat pizza, which not only has better and more toppings on it, but is only ~$10. Hell, I'd rather visit the Little Caesar's 5 minutes away. We found that our money was far better spent on a local burger place a 1 minute drive from Marco's Pizza, known as Lov-A-Burger. We went there straight after, and were much more satisfied by the customer service AND the food. They made no issues with us being 3 cents short of the minimum purchase to use our $5 certificate. To show our appreciation, we even bought more from them. Overall: Spend your money at a better pizza joint. Would not recommend to others, and WILL NOT visit again. We will be exchanging our remaining Restaurant.com certificates from Marco's Pizza to other local places. read more

Awesome pizza. Have ordered here many times. Everyone is always very friendly when we order. Lisa, the owner, is very community oriented and gives a lot back to the local community. Have never been disappointed with the food or the staff. Would definitely recommend their pizza and will be ordering from them again read more

I had Marco's for the first time tonight and it was very yummy. We had cheese bread, the Uno specialty pizza and a Greek salad. Bread was good And the pizza was terrific. The person who took my order over the phone was very friendly. We will be returning customers. read more

Not thrilled with delivery. Placed an order, gave specific instructions as to where to deliver (was at work), after an hour no one delivered. Called and spoke to the manager was told it would be remade and delivered in 15 minutes. Half an hour later, nothing. Break was long over by then. Will never order from here again. read more

We got the XL 5 cheese pizza with an order of cheesy bread. They were both excellent. Garlic butter, marinara & ranch dressing were free. Staff was very friendly. Only two of us were eating & there are only 4 slices left... oops, now there are only 3 slices left lol. It's that good. read more

nothing seperates this pizza place from it's competition at all. when the sauce is bitter on a pizza that usually indicates little to no seasoning, so this sauce must be tomato paste and salt. I wouldn't call it terrible but it isn't close to some of the best around the neighborhood. They have a saying here... Friends don't let friends eat 5 dollar pizza. well those 5 dollar pizzas are killing it and they actually have a good sauce. over priced pizza is out folks... pizza dough, sauce and cheese with a handful of toppings doesn't cost very much to make, We make them at home with fresh ingredience and they cost about 3 dollars to make for a loaded supreme pizza... so charging 10,11,12 or 15 dollars for 1 pizza is out of this world and if you do... it better be damn good... these pizzas are not damn good.. they should consider dropping the prices if they want to compete! It's really disappointing to write a poor review on Marco's. When we first tried it in July, we loved it. Delicious pizza. Fast service. Great prices. But since then, our experience has gone downhill. The last time we ordered from Marco's, we place the order online an hour in advance and scheduled the pick up time so my husband could pick it up on the way home. However, when he arrived, it was just going in the oven and he had to wait 15 minutes for it! But I get that sometimes things happen, and the pizza was great... until later that evening and the next day our whole family had upset stomachs. Didn't think too much of it, but weary none the less. Then, yesterday, we decide to give it another shot. Place an order online and it says it will be 45 - 55 minutes for delivery. They have this awesome little pizza tracker online, so after 55 minutes, and still no pizza, I went online to check it out and it said our pizza was still being made. When I called to get an ETA on our order, the employee who answered the phone was extremely rude, refused to even look up my order to tell me the status and hung up on me. We called back and talked to a manager, who overheard the convo. She was helpful and apologetic, stating she had to better train her staff. The pizza arrived after 1 hour and 15 minutes, was delicious and hot. But then we all had upset stomachs again last night and this morning. We've now had the same problem twice in a row, and it's safe to say we won't be going back. read more
