their hospitality is #1 we were working on the building and they wouldn't let us pay for drinks. Ordered from Marco's for the first time today and it was a big mistake. I ordered two 12 inch steak and cheese sandwiches and was never told that they also included mushrooms and also ordered a 2 liter CHERRY Pepsi, the order taker repeated the order back to me and it was as I had asked for but when the delivery came the first thing I noticed was that he had brought a regular Pepsi and when I looked at the ticket it read 1 2 liter Pepsi and not the cherry one I had ordered so that was wrong but I accepted it anyway and even gave the driver a good tip. When I got into the house and was preparing to eat my sandwich I noticed that it was loaded with mushrooms and since I am allergic to mushrooms I could not eat the sandwich they had delivered. I call the store that I had ordered from and explained the problem and was told that they were kinda busy at the moment but they would do their best to send the sandwiches without mushrooms and the Cherry Pepsi and would call when the driver was on the way to our house. One hour and 20 minutes later I had to call them to ask about the order and was referred to the manager who told me that they would not be replacing the sandwiches and the order taker swore that I had ordered a regular Pepsi and not Cherry even though he had repeated the proper order back to me over the phone. The manager also said that he would not be replacing the sandwiches because I did not specify needing them without mushrooms but being my first time ordering from Marco's I was unaware that a 12 inch steak and cheese sandwich would be half full of mushrooms and was not informed of such a thing. So no replacement and no refund and I was forced to pay $32.00 and an $8 tip for food that was thrown in the trash. This was my first and last encounter with a Marco's restaurant and I will be informing as many of my friends and acquaintances from the lodges and social clubs and organizations that I belong to and will urge them to pass along the information to anyone who is interested in hearing about low quality service and overall poor restaurants. I hope anyone who reads this and has similar experiences to share will take the time to tell their story and maybe, just maybe something will be done by the man who started it all and hopefully still takes an interest in how his name is smeared into the dust by low quality service and overall pitiful attitudes by the people who run these franchises. read more

Good pizza, great service! I usually order thin crust. They make it really well with garlic and parmesan crust. Alexis even called me when they ran out of certain cheese to ask me what I wanted so that they could make the pizza as I want. Appreciated that. Thanks! They never failed on taste or service. The establishment is always clean, appropriately staffed, and quick to serve. Location is very convenient, being right off the interstate, near local hotels, and housing communities on the west-side of Columbus. The 1 star is not for the taste as Marco's makes delicious pizza. The 1 star is due to the worst delivery service I've witnessed in my 44 years of life. This Marco's used to hire adult delivery drivers who did an excellent job. Recently, however, they have hired children (teenagers) to do the deliveries and these kids have zero common sense. One of the drivers would always put COLD 2 liter bottles of Pepsi in the warming bag with the HOT pizza. Obviously, by the time he reached my residence, the pizza was cold and the Pepsi was warm. I made a complaint after the second time that he did this. The next time he delivered to me, it was delivered far beyond the quoted delivery time and the pizza was still luke warm at best. Today, even though I had pretty much decided to stop ordering from this restaurant, I placed another order as I was only 2 points away from a $10 reward and wanted to at least be able to use the reward soon. I ordered a pizza and two 2 liters and the driver, a different kid (I was very happy to see it wasn't the same kid when he pulled up) brought my pizza and 2 liters to the door (not together in the warming bag! Hallelujah!) THEN, I watch him as he proceeds to sling the pizza bag (with the pizza still in it) over his shoulder and it hangs there completely VERTICAL while he hands me the 2 liter's! Obviously he has no idea how pizza's work. So, I decide not to say anything to him as I didn't want to verbally tear into this kid on my front porch. I took the pizza inside and opened the box. Unsurprisingly, the pizza was smashed down to one side of the box and hardly even resembled a pizza anymore. I immediately called the manager once again to make a complaint. Each time I have made a complaint, the manager was very nice and always showed concern. She always offered to place a credit on my account but I refused as I only order online and the credit doesn't show up on my online account anyway. I can't imagine that I'm the only person who calls her to make a complaint so I'm sure she is likely stressed dealing with her current delivery drivers and would prefer more competent ones. I advised her that I would be using my $10 reward soon but that after that, I will no longer be requiring their services. Again, This is only a complaint about the delivery drivers, but they are so terrible that there is no way I can award this place more than 1 star as I would not recommend this Marco's to anyone. I will say, that if you are willing to go and pick up the food yourself from the restaurant then you will likely be much more happy with your decision to go with this Marcos location. read more

Not impressed with their service. Walked in to order a pizza and a salad. 15 minutes we were told. After sitting looking at the counter for 20 min. I checked. They gave me the pizza. It had been sitting on a shelf getting cold. My salad was sold to someone else so they had to make another. Got home and discovered they did not give me my dressing. There's better pizza options in the neighborhood with fresher ingredients. This was my first experience having Marco's Pizza. This place is located in a good area not far from area hotels, it was also super clean. My wife and I stopped in for carryout to take back to our room while staying in Columbus. If you have not had Marco's before, it's somewhere between Cousin Vinny's and Donatos. Super friendly staff, nice younger people working during our visit. The service was excellent, Stephen was super helpful and even told us about a special to save a little money. We went with the Pepperoni Magnifico, which was AWESOME! It's your typical chain pizza smothered in two types of pepperoni. We got out of there with a specialty pizza, cheese bread, and a 2-Liter of Mountain Dew (PEPSI PRODUCTS!!) for about $17 with the special they had going. The service was fast and it didn't take long for our order to be up. We did check out the neighboring Cork Liquors and wine shop. Super huge selection and helpful staff, it's a good way to kill a few minutes and pick up some harder to find adult beverages if you're into that type of thing. There are lots of options for pizza in the area, I give this place a thumbs up. read more

Great pizza, but awful customer service! Sorry Marco's, you have lost a loyal customer. Our delivery was 30 mins late. When I called to check I was told it was on its way with no apology and the manager was very short with me. When I called back after the pizza was an hour late, I was told it was never made and they would make it now and deliver. No thanks...the manager was rude and raised his voice.
