I came here late in the evening and ordered me a pizza. The service was friendly. And the pizza was really good.

Great news: Pizza was great! Service was extremely and surprisingly fast, especially for freshly made pizza. The vibes were good too, with a fair and neutral atmosphere. The tea: The boneless wings were very very underwhelming, and absolutely nothing at all like the picture provided. Don't get me wrong. Yes. I know that nothing ever usually comes out exactly as the picture advertises, but you should hear me out. Allow me to paint a picture. Imagine, if you will, the popcorn chicken bites that you may see at a Sonic, but add the price, and the hopeful expectation for something that is remotely resembling at least the amount of chicken found in an order of chicken nuggies. There was more sauce than chicken. Extremely small -- smaller than nuggies! Heckin' TINY. I don't usually order boneless wings, and I am reminded why. They are usually a little bit cheaper than bone-in wings, and they usually are a little smaller as well, but this was a whole new level of "smaller". In summary... I choose a 4/5 rating, and that's simply because Marco's Pizza is great, especially when it comes to its namesake -- Pizza! Absolutely amazing pizza, every single time. I guess I just wasn't exactly expecting to receive about half of a handful of popcorn chicken bites for nearly $10. It was a tad misleading, I have to admit. Additionally, I have to admit that this is not the first experience like this for me with the boneless wings at Marco's. I actually had an almost identical experience with another Marco's Pizza location across town. I just wanted to give them a second chance. Fool me once, shame on me.. fool me twice? Yep.. Are you looking around for some darn good pizza that's always been quick, super fast, and delicious (and for a very reasonable price ) ? Well then, you should definitely consider visiting Marco's Pizza! Whether it be dine-in, or carry-out, or delivery. Their pizza doesn't disappoint very easily. I've noticed a few other complaints about rudeness from the employees on here and although the food is good, I doubt I'll return because of the poor behavior. I was met with hostility when I walked in the door basically. I think they were slammed with orders and understaffed. We were at a family gathering and someone suggested we have a pizza party with pizza from Marco's. We each picked a favorite that we could share around, chose 2 large salads and 2 cheese breads as well. Our order was ready quickly so we went over to pick it up. The pies were hot, fresh and the aroma was wonderful. We set the pies out and everyone dug in to the feast. The pies are cut in fairly small pieces so they was more than enough to go around and let everyone try each one. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous. We all ate our fill and there was even so left over for later. We can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu items. read more

We've utilized takeout here, once with a walk-up order and one with an app order ahead. Both times the staff has been great. I saw the majority of orders were for pickup and delivery, and wasn't sure the dining room was open for eating as both times I visited the room was not occupied. I love Marco's pizza. Actually I can't say that I love all Marco's pizza, because I haven't been to all of them. That's like saying I love women when it's actually my wife I love. I frequent the Bartlett location and I love it. Today, Germantown delivered in just the same way so now I love it too! This location is smaller, but it's nice and clean. $8.99 for a small one topping plus soda is spot on! I love the dough. I love the sauce. I love those big sausage pieces. I love the pepperonis cooked on top so that they crisp. I love the sandwiches. Yeah, I love Marco's. Word to the wise. Bring some first aid because the pizza comes out super hot. I guess they must have an oven or something because I can't think of any other reason it would get that hot. They should have a burn unit close by because if you put a pizza in front of me, I'm gonna try to eat it. First I try to hold it just for a second and blow real hard and take a little bite. But then I can't hold it long enough and I drop it and have to try again. Very frustrating, but well worth it because it will reach that ideal temperature soon enough. Why don't buffet pizzas ever get this hot? I guess they don't have ovens. P.S. Burn cream doesn't taste very good. read more

This store is very messy! They have way to many boxes pre made. Seriously how many boxes do you need in advance!?! I get having a few pre made but not stacked where customers sit. It does not create a welcome atmosphere! The floor is disgustingly greasy there is dust on the booth! My husband and I frequent here often and have never seen this, the manager/ store owner needs to do something about this! Also the counter girl had zero personality she didn't ask if I was eating in or if it was to go she seemed like a zombie! She did not ask if I wanted anything to drink. When I asked to add two drinks to the order she appeared put out. I had to remind her to give me the cups. The staff do not engage the customers at all l, they don't say hi or welcome! Sadly I had to go up and ask for the status of my order only to find out it had been sitting in the rack for who knows how long. I am extremely disappointed in marcos tonight ! Ordered through Grubhub and they sent totally the wrong pizza, not even close. I called and the Manager had the correct order from Grubhub but his staff had rung up the wrong thing. He very rudely refused to fix the order and told me he would not help me because I ordered through Grubhub. I have used Grubhub many times and have never had a place refuse to fix their own mistakes with my order. wish i could leave less than one star. i have never received such horrible customer service. this is the first yelp review i have ever left, because of how bad my experience was. i ordered a pizza, and after waiting 20 minutes past the delivery time before calling. when i called, the girl told me they had called multiple times, knocked on my door multiple times and even walked around back to see if i was home. i didn't have a single missed call, no one knocked, because i have 3 dogs and they all would have gone crazy if someone knocked. it's also impossible to walk to my backyard as it's entirely fenced in. when i explained this to the lady, she had a terrible attitude and accused me of lying. my boyfriend called back and asked for the manager, and whoever was there said "we already cancelled your order" and hung up. will never order from here again. read more

I have been a long time, extremely loyal customer. It's my go to whenever I want pizza. But tonight will be my last time patronizing this business. I traveled all week for work but knew as soon as I got home I wanted a pizza. My plane landed, I grabbed my luggage, made it to my car and placed my order at 9:23pm to be exact. The website tracker showed my order would be prepared at 9:45. I arrived at 9:45 but the tracker showed my order was still being prepared. I knew they closed at 10pm so I went ahead and went in, only to be told they cancelled my order because they closed at 9pm due to the storm/water issues. Now that's fine and I would have understood except I witnessed other customers pickup orders when I arrived. I asked why wasn't I notified on the website or by phone and why were they still accepting orders if they were closed. I was highly disappointed tonight when I went to pick up my order. I stood at the counter for five minutes before anyone greeted me. I was okay because the two young ladies were taking orders on the phone; however a young man walked from the back and did not say anything to me. Another young lady notices and asked me had I been helped I said no. She found my order I presented her with a large bill (cash). She proceeded to tell me she was sorry but she would have to get a manager because they did not have enough change in the drawer. I understood. She calls the manager (Ryan) she says we don't have that much money in the store. I looked at her and repeated what she said to me in disbelief. After an awkward silence, I let her know I did not have any other form of payment. She proceeded to mumble something under her breath, opened the safe, and slammed my money on the counter without saying anything. I proceeded to ask her name. She would not tell me until the other young lady shared. She then in a snarky manner proceeded to share her full name with me. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided. This is a review that covers the last 2 months. I have been ordering from them for over 20 years since I moved to Germantown. The quality dipped around a year or two ago on the pizzas, something, maybe the crust was just not the same. In the last couple months I have to say they have fixed all the issues that made me rethink ordering from them, and I love this place again. I ordered a pizza for carryout last week and noticed the cheeses was better and the crust was perfect. We ate a 17" inch pizza between 3 of us as we could stop eating it! I just finished a chicken and fish order we had delivered for the 2nd time in a week, and My wife and I can't be happier. The fish is great, the brosted chicken is even better and the brosted potatoes are top notch. Way to go Marco's I will see you for the next 20 years. read more

Pizza was okay, just missing the Italian sausage I repeated to the woman 4 times. Husband was ignored when he arrived to pick it up. Manager kept walking past him and not offering to help. My coupon was for a free pizza, no size stated. Since we always get XL that is what I ordered. Husband was told coupon only for a L pizza, and if the $22 is for an XL, he still had to pay $15 to pickup the FREE pizza. I'm not going back for a L O N G time. Marcos Pizza is delicious! The crust had a bit of a slightly sweet flavor. The Cheese was delicious and the pepperoni had a great fresh flavor as well. I felt compelled to write a review because the pizza came SO FAST (delivery). I recently moved to Germantown from California, and I know hardly anything about the food or restaurants around here. That being said... I had a craving for pizza (probably because Marco's left a flyer in my mailbox). I scoured yelp to see if any pizza place around here looked good and delivered. After searching for 30 minutes, I decided to go with Marco's. Another 20 minutes later (I'm clearly an indecisive person), I ordered a custom pizza via online. 23 minutes after I sent in my order, my pizza knocked on the door. I honestly don't know how it is possible to make a pizza (and drive 7 minutes to my house) in 20 minutes. Witchery, probably. Anyway, the pizza was pretty good. It's not artisan pizza, but I honestly wasn't expecting it to be. The bottom crust was a little soft (didn't crunch) but it wasn't soggy. The Roma crust added great seasoning, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Also, the cheese-to-sauce ratio was perfect. I'm giving it 4 stars because it wasn't "as good as it gets", but I will definitely order from here again, if I want pizza delivery. read more

We got a 1/2 supreme and have meat lovers (I don't remember their names) and we also got 1/2 with a Parmesan crust and have with a Roma flavored classic style crust. It was sooooo good. Wow, this pizza was actually almost competition with Jet's! I will definitely give them another try based on my one time order. The crust was not as tasty as Jet's, but the rest was great! I actually prefer Marco's sauce to Jet's. I hate it when the sauce overpowers all the other flavors. Marco's sauce just compliments the other components of the pizza. Ordered from this place last Saturday 11/16/19 and didn't get a pizza. Called the next day they said they would deliver it that night and they didn't. I called that night and was told to call the next day to talk to a manager. I called monday morning and talked to manager Ryan and she said that my pizza wasn't the only pizza that didnt go missing. She said that she would put a 30 dollar credit and attach it to my phone number. I was fine with that.
