I'm spending the night here in Henderson and looked up Pizza on DD. I found Marco's and it was 700 feet away so I walked over and ordered a small deluxe pizza. The young lady behind the counter took my order and said it would take about 15 minutes. The other young lady handed me the pizza in about 10 minutes so that was a win. I walked back to my room and opened the pizza box and WOW! It was so delicious! The pizza crust was amazing, like fresh baked sourdough bread. The sauce was great! The seasoning was fresh and reminded me of the pizza sauce I made from scratch forty years ago when I worked in a small pizzeria. The vegetables were fresh and still crunchy and the meats were very tasty! It's not a sit down pizzeria, so ambiance is not applicable, but if you're looking for a delicious pie, give Marco's on Stephanie a try, you'll be happy you did! When we had a problem with the delivery of our pizza to a nearby hotel, the person who answered the phone was helpful and we were able to work out where the problem was. Within 20 minutes a very hot and delicious pizza was delivered to our room. There are frequently problems with food service and delivery, I judge by how a company handles those problems. When I arrived to ick up my order. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes without any employee addressing me if i wanted to pick up an order. When another employee started helping the person after me, I said I have been waiting 10 minutes. One of the employees YELLED at me in front of other customers saying I should have said something. Service was quick. We got a ton of extra ranch. But the food was not up to even regular standards. It was my partner's first time at Marcos. I hyped it up so much, just to be met with the driest/coldest/cheeseless cheezy bread ever. I had ordered about 25 minutes prior. It felt like they just gave me an order that was sitting there for hours and slapped my name on it because no one came to get it. Idk, I was very disappointed. So normally I love Marco's pizza. But our last delivery was the worst . We ordered two steak and cheese sandwiches and a large pepperoni pizza . What we received was to ice cold steak and cheese sandwiches and a super hot pizza . Kudos the pizza was delicious but we needed the steak and cheese replaced. I ordered a pizza with Ham and mushrooms. It was disgusting. They use canned mushrooms and it was so rubbery I couldn't chew it. I called to tell them I was bringing it back. The person that answered the phone told me good luck with that and hung up! What kinda customer service is that? You would think they would accommodate since you payed for something that was supposed to be editable. The pizza was not. If you can't chew the mushrooms it is not editable! I have alway liked Marco's pizza. Honestly though maybe some training on how to treat your customers would help. Also tell people that you use canned mushrooms. It states fresh vegetables? This is it if you're looking for a great, always prepared same way pizza or sandwiches. I personally get the Italiano sandwich....just amazing! Pepperoni magnífico? How about pepperoni missingo? No seasoning whatsoever even though my receipt says double seasoning. What's the difference between pepperoni magnífico and a regular pepperoni? According to the menu, seasoning. According to what was delivered, just the price. Maybe the person making it failed elementary math and does not know the difference between double or nothing. Called, only offered to bring it in to have it added on top. Did I pay for delivery? Yup. But I should go ahead and drive it over for them to fix it. Will I get a refund for delivery? Mistake after mistake after mistake. As others have pointed (and as I have called them), their web site crashes frequently and makes mistakes (at least the staff blames the web site). Tonight's mistake was a 2-item "cheese pizza". They said the web site failed to record the 2 items, so they charged me for the 2 items and made a cheese pizza. Even after driving back, they refused to take responsibility for the mistake ("because it is the web sites fault, not theirs"). So, I get stuck with a 2 item "cheese only" pizza. Nice. I've heard the same girl there say "I'm sorry" to so many customers, I'm tired of hearing it. As others have pointed out, I also don't trust the cleanliness that kitchen or the staff. My family and I stopped in and ordered three medium pizzas: half cheese and half pepperoni; Deluxe (Italian) and a gluten free cheese and pepperoni. We added an antipasto salad for four and cheesy bread with dipping sauce. I substituted Ranch dressing in place of the Italian dressing. We asked if they take precautions when they make and prepare the gluten free pizza: we were told they do by preparing the dough on a clean surface and they change out the utensils they use during the preparation of the pizza; they also use gloves. Our wait was short: everything was ready within 15-20 minutes. The employees are friendly and attentive; helpful and knowledgeable. We were asked if we wanted paper plates, napkins, red pepper and mozzarella cheese: we said yes to all of it. UPDATE: I ordered an XL pizza with half for my two adult sons of pepperoni and black olive with red sauce and the other half was the deluxe with white sauce. It was as always excellent! We enjoyed every bite. They always use the freshest ingredients with a delicious crust. My hats off to the crew for figuring out my online customizations that appeared differently on their side than how I entered it on my end. A great group of employees, friendly and professional! Cheesy, delicious and just the way I like it. Marco's pizza knows what's up when it comes to to pizza. They aren't over-the-top or too fancy. They just make good, fast, fresh pizza. Mama Mia! The location itself is much like one of those order-to-go pizza spots. You can't really dine in, as their pizza is meant to be enjoyed at home surrounded by friends and family! Love that. My hubs and I eat here a few times a month. They are right up the street from us and real easy to order for delivery. We also occasionally stop in to the location to grab it to go. It never takes too long for them to make the pizzas fresh! The greatest thing about this place is that my hubs can order his super thick crust, just the way he likes it, and I can order my super thin crust, just the way I like it. The dough and marinara sauce they use is so tasty. You can even select how you want them to slice the pizza. I like to have mine sliced in squares, cuz I'm weird like that! We discovered this piece a few months ago and now it's the only place we order pizza from. Their $8.99 carry out special can't be beat, the ingredients are quality and the service is top notch. Today was the first time they got an order wrong, but they were quick to fix it and while my husband was chatting with the young man helping him he mentioned that after having worked at other Pizza places he's found no one who treats their staff better. I love Marcos and I go to this location frequently. I came in 30 minutes before closing, which I understand could be a little irritating, but I wasn't the only customer in the store. The woman and the man working there stood and stared at me like I came in 5 minutes before closing. It was extremely uncomfortable and awkward. Honestly I was ready to write big review, but this will be short due to an obvious repeat review from what multiple people already wrote. They said when they messed up my pizza last time to write my number and they will put in for a replacement on my next visit. Of course they don't have record. Even when I told them i have receipt and pictures, still refused. I see signs for franchise opportunities. When I speak to corporate, going to let them know how bad this location is and how bad it makes the franchise as a whole look. Never seen such horrible customer service. I ordered a pizza to be delivered. Time frame for delivery was 35-45 minutes. My wife happened to look outside to check if delivery driver had arrived. My family has been coming to this location on Stephanie for a few years now and have seen this place go down hill. Today I ordered a large two topping pizza and there was maybe 14 pieces of old world pep and 10 pieces of pineapple. When I called back to inform them about the lack of toppings to the manager all she said was she looked at it and it looked fine to her and was not apologetic whatsoever. She even hung up on me.
