This is a new location and has become my go to place for local order out. The app is not as good as dominoes at providing updates on when the order is ready. My online order was lost after I placed 3 calls confirming it. While at the restaurant, I saw an employee pick up a ringing phone and immediately hang it up. There was no manager on duty, or none that would answer the phone. When I called to complain to the manager, first they hung up on me, then they put the phone down for 11 minutes before they hung up on me. So today I went to get a pizza a couple days ago and realized one worker there specifically was not doing his job very well at all. I learned that his name was Tim. It seemed as though he couldnt even read the print on the system or even read anything. In addtion, as I was already waiting for my pizza, because he didnt take it down correctly, as more customers came in he became frantic and very obviously overwhelmed, even though it wasnt that many. He pushed the pizza to me and just left me with a very sore feeling. I did not appreciate the way he treated me or the other customers coming in to the building, and now i dont know if i'll ever be coming back to that location because I would rather not deal with that worker again, when there is a dominos and pizza hut just down the block. The pizza is good, and usually when Kat is there I always leave happy with my service and the pizza is great. This is the best pizza I've ever had from a chain, hands down. I just moved to Dallas from the Northeast where most pizza places are independent and usually high quality. Whenever I ordered from a chain, it was usually Dominoes because it was cheap and fast. The crust was always tasteless and had a weird consistency and the cheese was always rubbery and tasted fake. Well this Marco's pizza was the exact opposite of what I was expecting. This place is on my way home from work and I wanted something fast and cheap. I ordered from the app and the food was ready right when they said it would be. The restaurant looks new and is immaculately clean. The staff was very friendly and they actually checked the pizza in front of me just to make sure everything was correct. When I actually tasted it, I was pleasantly surprised. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and the crust was perfect. This pizza rivals a lot of independent places in the North. Even though the prices are on par with Dominoes, Marco's is far superior. It's not even close. read more
