the service here is fantastic! the google reservation did not work. just a heads up. call to book a reservation instead. our waiter, whose name is edward i believe, gave us a perfect introduction to this restaurant and helped make sure we were comfortable! fantastic job! i have never been to a pizza restaurant with this style. there are servers that walk around the entire restaurant with pizza trays. it really surprised me that there were 18 different unique pizza flavors ranging from elotes, tikka misalla, margarita, buffalo, spinach artichoke, and many more. there were also nutella, banana and cinnamon, and guava as dessert. my only critique about the pizzas is that they are very thin and not baked enough at the bottom, making them very flimsy and hard to eat. the lobster bisque and salad were perfect appetizers! the bisque was flavorful and creamy, perfect for dipping the pizza crust. the salad had a strong vinegar taste and was perfect to eat while waiting for pizzas. the kitchen is visible to see, and when looking inside i can see how spotless the place is. there was not a single ingredient that seemed out of place and pizzas were being freshly made. there is never a time where we felt like we had to wait for help or felt like a bother for asking for new pizzas. read more

Have done both the main dining room and happy hour in the bar with the latter being my preference. I suppose if your goal is to get a variety of unlimited small pieces of their pizza that's been roaming around the restaurant's basic atmosphere at a decent price, then the main dining room is for you. I like the $9 full pizza options with $8 apps and discounted drinks on happy hour. I prefer the bar's environment, too. And the bartenders have always been amazing. Will definitely return. read more

My daughter decided to introduce me to this restaurant experience while I was visiting from San Antonio. The model used for the restaurant is interesting. You receive appetizers; I fell in love with the Arugula salad. I don't normally like Arugula. Then gourmet pizzas are constantly offered at each table; unless you flip your preference to stop the offers. You say yes to what you think you'll like and no to the other. The ambiance is relaxing and the place has a family feel. My favorite part of our visit was the dessert pizzas. The Nutella pizza was delicious and made me feel like a kid! We tried Burrata and figs with balsamic, spinach artichoke dip and chicken empanadas. All were delicious. Amazing place for Sunday brunch. We loved almost every slice of pizza we tried- especially the brunch pizzas and dessert pizzas but almost everything was amazing. When it's an all you can eat situation you have to be strategic so the slices we weren't as crazy about we didn't finish. The weekend brunch also included a salad and meatballs to start with and I loved the fact that the salad was arugula and not iceberg. The dressing was also extremely tasty. I tried the Brazilian super caffeinated soda and that was something different and I would order it again if I was in need of a caffeine boost. I have never seen this concept before and thought it was cool. I sat at the bar and was excited that they let me do the unlimited pizza option still. The bartenders were great and they took the time to explain everything to me and keep my drinks topped off. They quickly brought out the appetizers if you choose the unlimited pizza option. That included meatballs, an arugula salad, and bisque. Tons of options before the pizza even starts coming! I flipped my card to green and the pizza started coming. They had like 18 different options I believe, which included a variety of dessert options as well. There weren't any pizzas that I didn't like and they include some interesting ones! From elote to lamb, they had a variety of options. The slices are small and thin which was perfect to try a bunch of them. I think it's tough for them to keep the temperature right as they walk around because I had some very hot, right out of the oven and some made it to me near the end of their loop around the dining room. I had to wait awhile for dessert options but they must wait until a few tables are ready for dessert pizzas before they make any. I've been to the Oak Lawn location a few times and decided to come to the Irving location. I never knew they had a location here maybe newer than the others. Came in for happy hour which is something they started recently it seems like. This location is SO huge compared to the Oak Lawn location. The bar area is a good size. I came in to the bar around 4:30p, pretty empty inside especially on a Friday. The bartender was so nice and attentive. I decided to try the raspberry lemon drop and the caipirinhas mango habanero flavor. They were both good cocktails to have. Instead of getting a happy hour pizza I decided on doing their traditional adult dinner which included continuous pizza's coming to your table. They have a variety of different ones on the menu even dessert pizza. The only con was the pizza wasn't constantly coming out. It took a while before another server would come to the table. The bartender had to see what the hold up was. He was doing his best. I just know their Oak Lawn location it's constantly in rotation the food, and I didn't get that vibe here. Several friends have been raving about this place so o had to try them out. Most of their locations are not open for lunch, and I don't have one close to my house, so I needed the perfect situation to to have me in this part of town for lunch. That opportunity came when I had a training class close to this particular Delucca. When we broke for lunch, I gave them a try. Not really knowing where I was going, just following GPS, I arrived at what my GPS still said was the Keg Steakhouse. I that is where Delucca is located. Walking in they have lightened up the ambiance a little and turned a dark dingy steakhouse into a more bright pizza place. I opted for the all you can eat so I could try everything. And that was where I was mostly dissatisfied with my experience. Yes, the gaucho thing is cool and all, but the pizza really is pretty average once you get past the pomp and circumstance.... As a pizza lover I was so happy to try the endless pizza special they have. I'm pretty basic with my usual order so this was the perfect opportunity to try some new flavors I wouldn't ordinarily get. This spot is a cross between and Brazilian spot with the card concept and an upscale CiCis with the all you can eat - plus there is alcohol! You start off with a 3 item app - lobster bisque, arugula salad, and meatballs (all good). The bisque is served in a cup that can be saved for dipping your pizza crust. Then comes the pizza - small thin crust slice - a variety of offerings. I appreciate an aesthetically pleasing place that's still easygoing. My picky eater toddler loves to come here and enjoys both the traditional and less traditional pizzas. I also enjoy bringing out of town guests here. The staff is incredibly flexible. For example, if you like a certain pizza it's easy to ask for more of it even if there's none left and they have to bake it. This place is also good for large parties booked in advance. Interesting concept which is like a combination of the Round Table (Lunch pizza buffet) and Fogo de chao! It bills itself as a Brazilian Rodizio style service, dinner begins with a trio of apps - arugula salad, meatballs, and lobster bisque - all of which were very good. Then comes the main event - a continuous flow of a variety of pizzas, most with interesting toppings, e.g. turkish lamb, chicken tikka masala, etc. While the toppings were interesting, the crust was so so. It was thin so one is able to try a good variety, but it also got a little monotonous. They also have dessert pizza so definitely give that a try too. read more

The pizza is above average for all-you-can-eat and it was better than a typical pizza buffet, and there are many pizza options to choose from including the chicken tikka masala pizza and the lamb pizza. I went with a small corporate group. I've been dying to try this place since I first read about it. What a concept. We went on a Monday, early dinner, arriving at 6pm. Happy hour all day! The drinks were FABULOUS! Meatballs were really great. Lobster bisque was soooo good!!! Pizza? Really quite disappointing. :( We were close to the area where they get the pizza ready. Even so, it always seemed to be cold and floppy. I was pretty sad about that and had hope that the dessert pizza would be better. Nope, cold and floppy, as well. I'm not sure how they could manage things to help it stay hotter. Ingredients are quality and it should be awesome but it just wasn't. I drank 3 cups of that soup, though!!! Service - Our server took the time to review how the restaurant worked (rodizio style), took our drink orders, then an army of servers stopped by our table offering many pizza options. I used OpenTable to book my reservation, let them know it was to celebrate my parent's anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond to provide us with a fantastic experience. 1 Star. Food - Your 5-course meal begins with a rich and creamy lobster bisque, arugula salad, and Kobe beef meatballs. I really enjoyed lobster bisque flavor, but didn't find any chunks of lobster. The meatballs were nice and moist and served on a nice bed of San Marzano tomato sauce. The pizza was good, not great. f you're a fan of pizza and curious about new concepts, this place might catch your eye--think Brazilian steakhouse but with pizza for around $27 per person. Now, I love pizza, but I can't eat my weight in it, so we decided to try the Happy Hour (HH) menu instead, which seemed like a much better deal for our wallets and waistlines. Here's the catch: the Happy Hour hours listed on the website (and on the HH menu) are incorrect. There's even a chalkboard sign outside the entrance that says it actually starts at 4 PM (not 4:30 - which it lists on the website and the HH menu at the bar). Let's just chalk this up to them still getting their sea legs, shall we? We rolled in at 4:45 PM, and the place was nearly empty. We opted for seats at the bar, which had a few patrons but was far from packed. Despite that, the bar still had dirty dishes from the previous customers that needed clearing when we sat down. Not a great start, but hey, new places need time to get their groove on, right? The HH wine specials weren't clearly marked, so we had to quiz the bartender a bit. I decided to go with a raspberry lemon drop--word to the wise, it was way too sweet, but it did come with a super cool smoke bubble on top. Now I'm off to Amazon to find myself one of those smoke bubble guns! Hubby had a glass of wine, which, thankfully, was just wine. Taking the bartender's advice, we ordered a HH pizza--the lamb one--and I asked whether we should get one of the cheeses or the spinach dip. He was all about the spinach dip, so that's what we got. The pizza? It was fine. As a NYC pizza snob, I'd say it was pretty decent for an upscale place. The crust was a nice crispy-chewy combo, and the toppings were flavorful. I might need to try another flavor before I can give a final verdict on their pizza prowess. Now, the spinach dip... It arrived barely warm, and although I've only sent food back maybe three times in my life, I had to ask them to heat this one up. I wasn't looking for a fresh order--just a bit of a reheat on the one we already dipped into. They took their sweet time bringing it back, and even then, it wasn't much better. Honestly, it was a bit of a disappointment, warm or not. So here's the deal: if you're curious about the food here but not ready to commit to the $27 all-you-can-eat pizza marathon, give the HH menu a try first. I've heard nothing but good things about Delucca from friends who've stopped by so I had to reserve a spot. I came in this evening to see the hype for myself. We got seated pretty quickly and as we got settled in our host brought out the appetizers. The dinner course comes with salad, meatballs, and lobster bisque so be sure to get all 3. As the pizzas came out, I made sure to try a slice of all their offerings. Everything was piping hot and delicious. My personal fav was the Spicy Honey and Salami. Pro tip: The bisque was great and also doubled as a sauce to dip slices into. So good! After you're done with the main courses of pizza, the dessert pizzas come out. We had a big group at lunch, so decided on the round robin of salad, various pizza slices, etc. Pizza ranged from very good to great! Service was wonderful & the restaurant is beautiful! I'll definitely go again to try some other menu items! A couple of potential improvements: salad was completely arugula, though the dressing was sooo good! This place was recommended a few years ago and I'm only just now trying it out. I didn't realize it's slightly more upscale for a pizza place and I brought my toddler. They didn't have booster or high chairs, but we sat at a booth and made it work. All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. There were only three other parties present (12pm on a Friday). Everything we tried was amazing. The lobster bisque was excellent and the honey lemon vinaigrette on the arugula was a nice touch. I like the concept of a revolving door of pizza. You get a card you can flip to indicate if you want more or if you need to pause. They offered dessert pizzas also, dulce de leche and Nutella. I tried the dulce de leche and it was good - just a bit heavy on the caramel. My favorite pizza was one I didn't take a photo of - it was like a salami/prosciutto type meat that was spicy with honey on top. The only one I didn't try was the mushroom pizza. Everything else was great. I had a mango mojito mocktail and it tasted like the real thing, didn't even miss the alcohol. Highly recommend this place! read more

This place is an upscale restaurant! It's absolutely beautiful inside. We were met by a very nice young lady who took us to our table. Our waiter was eager to tell us about how their menu works. We went during lunch time so we decided to go with their special. Which is an awesome salad, an amazing lobster bisque and several different pizzas that they bring to your table. All of the pizzas were so good! They also had a couple of dessert pizzas which were so yummy! We had an amazing experience here and will be coming back for their dinner. We had a rsvp and though the place was busy, we were never neglected. We went with the all in option so we had apps mains and dessert. The meatballs salad and lobster bisque were soooo yummy! After finishing, we flipped over our card to begin receiving pizza, we tried every flavor available. My fav main was the 4 cheese truffle and an extremely close second was the Turkish lamb. Just got home from dining here. After we ate a little salad and got started on the pizza. A green stink bug crawled off the plate with dressing on it. We called our server over who grabbed the manager and she cared more about the bug than us. Never apologized to us or asked what could make it better barely acknowledged us but literally said to the bug "sorry little friend" as she picked it up with the tongs. We waited a little to get our appetite back but decided to get slice of dessert pizza and get the check. Nothing was compensated on the bill and she never came back to apologize or check in on us. I've eaten at the Design District location many of times and enjoy the food but was extremely disappointed in the lack of care that a STINK BUG was in our salad. It was okay. Pleasant staff, clean restaurant, and we didn't have to wait long for the pizzas to come around. My friend treated me to lunch here. It was dead but we enjoyed being able to chat without having to shout. We may go back to see how dinner goes. The prices are fair IMO. The Lobster bisque tasted fine despite having a horribly fishy smell. I could not finish it because the smell was nauseating. The lightly - dressed arugula salad was okay. We tried all of the pizzas available during lunch. I liked the four cheese and truffle, chicken tikka, and the Nutella pizzas the most.
