Mediocre customer service at best. After a 13 hour day at the hospital I needed dinner for my son and I. I go online to order. Wanted to use the coupon code for large 2 topping pizza for $8.99 each for carryout. I ordered and used the coupon. The code didn't work for all of the pizzas only one. I was in a tight spot because it's late and of course I am too beat to cook. I tell the person behind the counter that it wasn't working. All she could do is say she's would tell her manager and to have a nice day. Ok, fine. I'm not asking for anything free but make an effort to help a customer out. I placed an online order on 12/16/22 to Marcos For one large pizza and one cheese bread. I drive to the establishment and was told my order was done a few minutes before i arrived (which was a little after 8pm) So when i expect to walk in, get my order and walk out and leave to my house to enjoy my dinner. sad to say i did not get my order. When i walked in there was a line of people waiting on their orders. There was a front cashier (a young kid seems like it was his first couple of days) he did a good job trying to get everyone orders. I arrived and gave him my name and my order he said would check on it and he said it would be out in a second. Ten minutes go by and i check again with him again he goes back and asked for my order to someone and the young kid comes back and tells me "it's in the oven" and that was around 830pm which is about 30 min after i was told by the app that my order was ready for pick up. OK so I'm not in a hurry I don't get angry or upset i continue to sit there and all the people that originally had went to pick up there orders have all left and it's just me and a few new customers walk in to pick up their order. Last time i went up there i tell the kid that my order was supposed to ready an hour ago and i asked him can he go back there and check and see whats going on. He goes back and this time I'm standing up watching him actually go back there and ask where is my order. Sad to say my order was never made, the cashier told me that my order was never made because "their machine needed to make my pizza broke" and "the cook is making it ON THE FLY" whatever that means. That is unacceptable to me but its sad that the cook or manager had that kid lie to me for a hour. If i never would have said anything i would have been sitting there until they closed looking for my order that was never even placed in the oven in the first place. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and will never go back to Marcos pizza again! read more

This location (Leander/Bagdad Rd) has the best pizza ever. Everything is always perfect. If there is a 1% chance it isn't, they make it right immediately. I've been to other Marcos locations and there is no comparison. We order twice a week. They have great deals and coupons that make it affordable to feed my big family. My husband and I realized today that it had been far too long since we had pizza and wanted to try a new chain near the house. I'm so glad it was Marco's! We ordered online and had it delivered. We used one of their coupon specials for cheezybread, two medium one toppings, and a 2 liter for $19.99. The total after tax, delivery, and tip was closer to $30 so I will probably do carry out next time. Still a great deal though! The cheezybread was fantastic! It came with a choice of two dipping sauces so we did marinara and garlic butter. The garlic is a must! So delicious. The pizza itself was great. The dough is nice and fluffy and for no extra charge they will do a flavored crust for you. We did garlic butter on one and Parmesan on the other and loved them both. We also always get light sauce so the cheese can go a longer way. We dont order pizza often but I'm glad to know Marcos is nearby when we want it. read more

I usually order delivery online with no issues. I had a coupon from the last order I had and it would not work online so I called in for pick up. When I arrived I told the cashier I wanted to empty my gift cards and pay the remaining 20 cents in change. He ran the first card and I signed the individual receipt. He ran the other card then ran it again. He did this about 5 times and then told me it declined. I double checked the balance and seen that a transaction just cleared for the balance that was on the card at Marcos Pizza in Leander. He gets the Owner who tells me they didn't run my card and the card was empty when I walked in. I showed him the transaction with date, location, and time but he continued to argue with me stating I don't have any money. I asked him to void the transaction so the money would go back to the cards and he kept saying no money was taken from the card for him to return. Remind you I had the first receipt from the first card. The original cashier came and explained to him exactly what happened but the owner wouldn't listen. Finally he agrees to hit void. The receipts print out and what do you know it shows where both cards were ran. I love the food at Marcos but hell will freeze over before I order from this location again. The cashier had more respect and customer service than the owner. I could have paid cash. I would have but he immediately made this my problem instead of trying to figure out his machine and computer error. read more

On Thursday, February 3, 2022, here in Cedar Park/Leander, Texas, we experienced inclement weather. It was very cold, icy roads, and snow. Of course this is the day my children decide they want to have take out and I was happy because I didn't feel like cooking! I literally began calling approximately five or six places we enjoy takeout. I call Marco's last because they didn't want pizza but then we figured let's try pizza. After the many calls I made previous to calling Marco's I was shocked that someone answered the phone! It was the general manager, Jason. Considering it wasn't safe to drive on the icy roads and it was cold, a dreary day. Jason picked up the phone and had the most pleasant attitude, great customer service, offered to wait for me if I was doing carry out. I was amazed! He demonstrated great leadership and I will only get pizza from Marco's from now on because of my experience with Jason during the crazy weather situation. Keep up the Great work, Jason! I don't know what happened to the pizza at this location. Used to order every week. Their pizza used to be delicious. It doesn't even smell like pizza anymore and the taste is not good either. So usually Marcos is one of our go tos for pizza but tonight was not a good experience. We ordered pizza and cheezybread, when our order arrived we were missing the cheezybread so my husband called to let them know we didn't receive it and who ever he talked to was not very nice and acted annoyed that he was calling about a missing item. Finally they gave the phone to a manager who said they had an order in the oven and it would be here in 15 minutes. I proceeded to start getting a piece ready for our daughter and the first piece I pulled out had a hair on it. So my husband called them back to let them know and to just have them cancel the bread and just issue us a refund. Well the told us they couldnt refund our money because it had already been delivered but they could give us a $30 credit for next time. So now I'm stuck with a pizza I can't eat and a hungry family to feed. I know he offered to make it right but when you have kids to feed they can't wait another 30 minutes for a new pizza. So all in all tonight wasn't a good night for pizza. I know with everything going on (COVID-19) I shouldn't complain and I know these places are busy and over worked but they should be taking extra precautions with food before it goes out. The Big Cheese should be called The Big Sleaze. Marco's Pizza is a gamble. Sometimes the pizza is decent and sometimes the pizza is garbage. Overpriced garbage is the reason for a one star rating. Not the best pizza joint in the area IMO, but better than many of the more well known box chains. The subs are good and beat the sub shop next door. The old world pepperoni is a nice change to the normal pepperoni you find every where else. The cheese bread is too much bread & not enough cheese for my taste, but still has a good flavor. Delivery has always been on time. The website is a bit primitive and isn't always updated with the latest specials/menu items. Overall worth repeat business. read more

We ordered a large thin crust with pepperoni, sausage on the whole pizza, half chicken, the other half jalapeños and pineapple. Everything was pretty good! The crust was crunchy, meat warmed up well, sauce and cheese decent too. We also had a side of buffalo wings with the jalapeño ranch sauce - not too bad either. Words cannot express the love I have for this place. The pizza here is DIVINE. The crust is buttery, garlic, cheesy, and the perfect ratio of toppings to bread. They absolutely didn't skimp on the toppings either. I dipped the crust (which I got thick) in the ranch it came with and it was HEAVEN. Heaven. My honeybunny took me here one night. He had it once and was raving about it b/c the two of us love pizza and will jibber jabber about it every chance we get. While at the house, I was studying their menu like the SAT's. I poured my greedy ass into the car and off we went. We ordered an XL with half chicken and half Old World Pepperoni (so basically just pepperoni) The pizza sat in my lap and for a few seconds I felt like the drunk uncle who at weddings crosses that line. I so wanted to pillage that pizza but we waited til we got home. The crust is divine. He'll swear by the cheese, but that crust..omg. It's crusty and chewy and seasoned just right. Ok- so our favorite pizza place closed up and we have had a tradition of Friday night pizza from way back when I had just finished nursing school and took an-afternoon shift (no twelves back then thank goodness!), so hubby and the kids x2 would pick up pizza for supper.(this was back in the dark ages). We had been to Marco's pizza a couple times randomly nearer to the time it opened and thought it was ok, but not the step up crust wise and sauce wise that we favor. Well, the Yelp rating indicated we should give it another shot since we wanted a pizza. We ordered a medium, thin crust, extra well done and we chose the Meat Supreme with an extra sprinkle of cheese(it comes that way without addl charge!). It was loaded with Cheese, Classic Pepperoni, Ham, Italian Sausage, Bacon, and Sprinkling of Extra Cheese. It was cooked to perfection- extra well and the thin and crispy crust had great crunch texture. Both my better half and I were impressed with the sauce, thick, rich, just an edge of spice, really savory and good. Overall a great experience and we will return. Also it was hopping as one would expect on a busy Friday at dinner time but they were moving through orders for pick up in a timely manner! Kudos Marco's! read more

Ordered pizza 3 times so far: delivery twice and carry out today. Both times when I had it delivered, they came on time or sometimes quicker than the estimated time. I like their tracker which kind of gives you an update on your pizza. My orders were received usually within 10 minutes after the tracker moved to "out for delivery." Today I had a carryout for two pizza using a coupon, which went through fine online. When I went to the store, I arrived 5 minutes earlier than their estimation. So the friendly cashier (I forget her name but she mentioned that she had a 17 month old baby) made a small talk with me and the pizza was ready 5 minutes later. The same lady saw I was holding my 4 month old, so she carried my pizza to my car, which she didn't have to at all! I was very impressed by her service and the general awesomeness of this particular store! They have about 6 tables and a tall, long bar (the non alcoholic type) seating area. I love how fast my order was done. I love the taste, the Parmesan bread is to die for. I had never been to Marco's pizza and I came here to pick up a quick pizza to-go to bring to my boyfriend while he was volunteering. I was surprised by how pricey this place was - I was expecting that I could get pieces by the slice on the cheap but they make each pizza made to order, ensuring that it's fresh and forcing you to buy a whole pie (a plus for my inner foodie, but not for my impatient side). I tried their deluxe specialty pizza and ordered a lunch special since that was cheaper than buying just the pizza itself. It took about 15 minutes for it to be prepared and they offered to add parmesan to the crust along with garlic butter. They brought the pie out to me from behind the counter and were very polite (much more customer service than I had expected). The pizza itself was pretty tasty - a small filled the two of us up just fine since it was packed with ingredients. My only complaints are that it was pretty greasy, more expensive than I would like, and I had to wait longer than I thought I would. The service was surprisingly good, though! Now that I know what I can expect, I will be sure to go here if I am not in a rush or if I can call ahead of time to get my order in and decrease my wait time. read more

Part of the deal was chicken dippers and I ordered buffalo sauce. When it arrived, the container of buffalo sauce had opened and spilled all over the sack. It was soggy when he handed it over. They gave my pizzas to someone else and the young girl manager said that you can have those pizzas and would not make 2 new pizzas that I ordered. I had them refund my money and to sum up the the whole thing is that the young girl manager had such a BAD attitude I will not go back there for pizza. Delivery was on time, pizza's were as ordered (not sure why the prior reviewer is having problems, but we were good to go on two pizzas). We got a Peperoni/Olive/Mushroom and a Sausage pizza, both were excellent. I wouldn't go as far as 5 stars as I would prefer the crust a tad thinner and crispy, I am a sucker for NY style thin crust. Terrible online ordering system - the site won't even recognize a local address that they've delivered to in the past, and the restaurant itself insists on using the same terrible system to locate addresses. Love this location! Marco's is delicious, consistent, and the staff are so nice. If for any reason something was missed or forgotten, they always take my feedback seriously and are willing to remedy it. We pick up or get delivered at least once a week. They have a rewards program and the best coupons. I also love that when the delivery drivers leave they always tell each other to be safe. Great food, great people, and great service. read more
