My friends and I love Marco's Pizza, and have eaten there often during the last couple of years. The man who normally works the counter is outstanding. We always put cash in the tip jar, as if it were a normal sit down restaurant. The salads are very fresh. The pizza is awesome. I am speaking of the Riverside Dr. location in Macon, Ga. Today was an horrible experience. A red headed woman was working there ... or should I say she was there, somewhere. We waited 20 minutes at the counter. No one appeared to be working. Finally, after yelling out "is anybody here?" several times, my friend knocked on the glass window with her keys. No answer, and no one in sight. I was afraid someone had been knocked in the head and needed help, (or had a medical issue). I walked behind the counter toward the kitchen, to see if we needed to call 911. This red headed woman came out screaming like a banshee. "Get out from behind my counter". I tried to explain I was trying to see if she was OK. She kept screaming at me. I told her she needed to be out front waiting on her customers. She screamed several times "you can't tell me where I need to be". I have no idea if she was alone or if someone was in back. There was no service bell. Bad experience. I am 84 years old. I did not go near the register. We left. read more

We order from the Riverside Drive location in Macon for about 2 years and its gotten worse over time...so much so that we've decided to order from any other chain going forward. Most recently, we ordered 2 medium pizzas - one we requested to have ground beef instead of Italian sausage. What we got was a pizza with approximately 2 tablespoons of ground beef 'debris,' not even full chunks of ground beef. The second pizza was thin crust and we called (as usual, since the app won't allow the option) to request that it be in slices instead of squares. The store called to tell us that this pizza had accidentally been dropped but would be remade, which it was...but not sliced as we'd asked, as they'd prepared it before. This, combined with every other issue we've had with our orders, repeatedly, spurred our decision to take our future business elsewhere. Definitely can't recommend Marco's anymore. read more

Worst experience with Marcos ever. We're traveling from out of town and this is what we were greeted with. $48 dollars for two cold pizzas and bread and an 1.75 wait for delivery. Slob shows up at door and instructs me on how to provide the tip, not happening. No offer to discount the meal or do anything to provide service just bad pizza and let me have my tip. I've opened Marcos stores, I've run Marcos stores, and I've been a 20 year fan of Marcos products. This is an embarrassment to the chain and a prime example of the vanishing art of service and pride in product. read more

First off we were not greeted in any way. When we sat down at a table it took 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table and there was only 2 other families there. Pizza. Heavenly, delicious pizza. The warm pizza covered with melted cheese and sausage. Edible crunchy crust with dipping sauce. The medium pizza is a generous size. Friendly staff at the counter. Ok pizza, however less than customer satisfying when it comes to a Ridiculous corporate policy to not allow an order of hot wings to be split in at least 2 different flavors. It does not sit well with me as to how simple this request could be a "no we don't split flavors". I've worked in the food industry before and limiting your customer experience with something so trivial is definitely not the way to have me come back anytime soon. Just how hard is it to to split and order of 10 or 15 wings into two bowls and use different sauces? May not be so difficult after you realize that it just cost you my business tonight and may not be back period. My husband and 2 kids and I visited your location to have different options for all of us. Typically order 2 pizzas drinks and sides. We never get out of this place with out spending at least $50 for our family. Since the kids were with us and had already ordered drinks we just ordered the kids their pizza making our dine in order $11. Our order was supposed to have been a large meat pizza, salads and a wing order as an appetizer that we wanted split into 2 flavors to try the wings out for the first time. We let the kids eat but husband and I are craving wings so will leave and go to another restaurant. We usually spend $40-50 per visit when it's 4 of us. With our crazy life schedules we eat out often and like variety and good customer relations in all our experiences. Been here 3 other times in last 4 months, never seen more than one other table being served at 7pm in the evenings the entire hour we are there each time dining in , so makes me wonder why? However as for me this will not be a place to bring friends and family to just because this policy it's too restrictive and the last thing I want to be told when I am paying for a product is "No, you can't have it your way" NEXT TIME I WE WILL CHOOSE TO GO TO BUFFALO WILD WINGS , WILD WINGS CAFE AND , BUFFALOS where they know how to serve their customers and do simple math to divive the wing order and deliver it our way they just don't have pizza. Watch out for their drivers! Had parked and was walking in with my 3 year old daughter when one of their drivers came flying through the parking lot and had to slam on the breaks not to run us over. Then he mouthed off because I told him he needed to slow down. On the way out, when we were already in the car, a different driver was going through the parking lot at a high speed. I ordered 2 garden salads and 2 20oz Pepsi at 11:30am for delivery and paid online by credit card. I just got the the delivery 1:47pm. I understand it is raining so I was understanding after my 12:05 approximate delivery time had come and gone. I finally called to check on it and was told the driver was on the way. No apologies or explanation on why it was so late. Very poor customer service! read more

Overpriced pizza. Disgusting. They offer pizza, salads, and subs. Nothing special about the place. Maybe other locations in different cities are able to crank out a quality product. However this location does not fit the bill. I ordered the garden pizza and veggie fresco subs. Nothing to write home about. Sauce is boring, toppings are typical and the crust is nothing to rave about. It's just overpriced pizza. you're better off clipping coupons and going to one of the more familiar pizza joints that delivers. Anyway, there is nothing authentic about it. We ordered a turkey and ham salad with a large pepperoni and sausage. The salad was nice and crisp and tasted fresh. The pizza came out piping hot and was very good. Only thing I would say is to have a coupon a large pizza was $17 plus 1.50 for each topping u choose if I understood the menu correctly.
