We live across the street & in the past went several times a month. This place has gone down hill, it smells horrible every time I go in there. Employees also look very dirty and disheveled. The WORST possible customer service in thr history of customer service. The employee answered the phone with "Hello", as if it was his personal cellular device. He then proceeded to hang up the phone when I asked if this was Marco's Pizza. Imagine his displeasure when the consumer ask if this was the establishment they were attempting to spend their with! Long story short: I orders two pizzas. One was wrong. I called and they said they'd rush the correct order. I called at 30 min to get an update and was told the pizza was on the way. No apology was offered for the wrong order. I thought, no biggie I own a business and don't expect minimum wage temporary employees to care about the big picture. The restaurant is only 10 minutes away from our condo. Over an hour later (two hours after the original order) I called and the guy that answered the phone was not in the least apologetic. He started mocking me making weird noises and then hung up the phone. TWICE! I Called back. Again he started mocking me. I wanted the status on the correct pizza that I originally ordered. Not once was I offered an apology for the order being wrong in the first place. Had I had an "oh we're sorry" or "oops we'll rush out the correct order" I would have been fine but this guy answering the phone was unbelievable. Beyond rude and condescending. In a pizza joint of all places! I'll never order from this place again and would never recommend it to anyone. Website says they're open. I called at 10:45 and the man IMMEDIATELY said they were closed, but could he help me? I was ready to give a great tip of $15 to the driver, but the man who answered the phone said they were closed. So what time, exactly, do you close? 10:45 or 11pm? Pizza was good but we will NOT return. My father asked for water cups for his 4 kids. As the cashier handed him the cups, the manager told her "make sure they get water." Very unprofessional. This is my favorite pizza place in Destin. We had the cheese and the pepperoni. Both were great! I asked for my cheese pizza to be cooked "well done" and it was perfect. The sauce and cheese are delicious and so is the crust. Will definitely eat here every time I come to Destin. read more

Spoke to a girl who took my order and when I mentioned my husband's bday, she told me to order, "the double chocolate brownie" It was AMAZING!!! We had a great meal at Marco's! The pizza was some of the best I've had. Delicious crust, just right amount of toppings. Large one topping was only $8.99 The restaurant is small but very clean and new, very family friendly. They also have Chill a yogurt bar on the other side of the restaurant that we enjoyed for dessert on another evening. It was great with plenty of flavors and toppings! read more

We love this place and eat there regularly. The pizza is fresh and hot, of course I pick it up myself or eat there. They add plenty of cheese and ingredients, so it's not just crust. But the crust is very good, doesn't taste fake, has a bready aroma. Everyone who works there is friendly. I think it's a little too bright inside and they need to rethink the arrangement of the tables/chairs. It could be fun atmosphere to eat rather than take-out if they really utilized the space with an interior designer. Also, having the big view of the kitchen is a bad idea if the work area is not clean, which is hard to do when lots of food is being made. Maybe a screen to hide the work area? The salads are just OK, not bad for a quick pizza place. And the prices are quite reasonable. Will continue to be a big fan if it stays this good. read more

I love their pizza, but twice we have had terrible service. Once was a friends birthday party that we ordered delivery pizza and they took almost two hours to deliver and then it was someone else order and they didn't want to fix it. Second, last night I called in a carry out order of just two medium pizzas and got there and waited for an hour, and then when we went up to the counter to ask how much longer, they said "20 minutes" with an attitude. My 3 month old baby was in the car with my mom so it was very frustrating having to wait that long. We requested a refund, and whoever did it (not sure if it was the manager or not) had a major attitude and didn't even say anything to my husband after the transaction, and he just walked off. I know Spring Break is here, and they have more customers than usual, but we are locals and eat there often. They should really work on their customer service. read more

Excellent pie! So happy to see Marcos in the area now. Last had them when I lived in Howell, MI. Their sauce is perfection and they know how to properly cook it. Used their online ordering and it told me when they were on the way so I could put my dogs away; they always go crazy when the doorbell rings. read more
