The fried veggies were also really good, and we had the Detroit Zoo (roasted tomato, basil and a basil marinara sauce), Detroit PBS (2 types of pepperoni) and Eastern Market Veggie (green pepper, onion, mushroom, tomato) plus a family sized house salad. We could have used just a tad more toppings but overall the pizza was well balanced. The pepperoni is old world style, small in circumference but full of flavor. The mushrooms were fresh, none of that rubbery fungus among us! Unfortunately, HobNob didn't deliver to our home but pick up was a breeze. Parking was available behind the store front but I can see how during peak times it could get congested. The team member that greeted and helped us was welcoming and friendly. He threw a small discount at us, but still forced everyone to pay for their tabs. While we were trying to settle up and just get out of there, the staff started opening up to us. Our waitress told us she was quitting in a week because this kind of stuff happens constantly, and she was tired of dealing with the fallout. Another waiter mentioned it was only his third day on the job and he was already planning to jump ship. To top it all off, we walked past the kitchen and office area on our way out and the sheer lack of cleanliness explained everything.
