It's 2025 and Marcos still doesn't make their employees wear gloves. Every time I go to a Marcos (including this location) the employees are making the pizza with their bare hands. They use the same hands to answer the telephone and ring up customers. They don't even wash their hands in between these various activities, let alone wear gloves. I can only hope and pray hands are washed after using the bathroom. Also no hair nets. This is clearly a management issue as it's not that difficult for employers to ensure that their employees are handling food safely and properly. They don't care about hygiene - they just care about profit. read more

We order from the location at NW 129th 2 or 3 times a month. We love their sauce and always ask for double, which we rarely get! Tonight they got our toppings wrong too, so my spouse waited while they made another and the toppings were right, but they didn't even have a normal layer of sauce, much less double! We mostly frequently went to the Moore/OKC location... But we moved and this location is near the house (4-5 miles). Marcos did a fantastic job for dinner.. Ordered online - then called as we were going to arrive slightly before the pick up time and Miranda got us taken care of! She was awesome! She should be commended for job well done! Trying another lower end affordable pizza. Let's get down to business, shall we? Floppy undercarriage, doughy just too doughy almost raw. On the topic of dough it also tastes cheap and like it was prepared days ago. And in the topic of cheap the toppings taste and feel cheap. I doubt it's fresh. This stuff is like a step (and I mean a small step) above "LC". The cheese is pretty gross and always undercooked. The entirety of the pizza just seems undercooked. I've had Marco's original crust pizzas a few times now, and each time I was a happy camper. It's a classic-style pie, rising crust, a bit chewy compared to some but solid, reheats well. The reason I like them more than a similar place like Domino's is the toppings are more plentiful and taste fresher. Sausage chunks and pepperoni are larger with lots of flavor. The offer two types of pepperoni, the smaller curly, spicier type as well. Their Pepperoni Magnifico is delicious! They offer a thin crust option too, very popular but I have yet to try it. Im not sure if that date is right but it doesnt matter. I have ordered from this location 3 times and every time it has been a bad and over priced experience. First time it took over an hour to get here cold and nobody answered the phone. Time 2 i ordered a pizza and added very expensive topping that I didnt get and again nobody answers the phone. Time 3 closest to the date I provided. It was a bit later than I normally order food but again it was late and cold. It is hard to swallow a 50 dollar bill for cold food. Truman the so called Manager should not be managing anything! I waited for two hours for a replacement to my burnt cheese bread and incorrect extra large pizza, when I called back he said "a replacement is not coming" and I said "you had me and my kids waiting and you didn't even call to tell me you were not sending a replacement after you said one was on it's way" he said "that would be correct" in a condescending tone. This was my first visit to Marcos. I was impressed to say the least. Like many pizza establishments, you can order via on-line and get updates on when it's ready. You are given approximate time on when it's ready so you don't have to waste time. You can pay via credit card or gift card in advance. For those who a little skittish about putting your personal info out in the virtual world, you can always pay in cash upon arrival. Marcos is located in a small strip mall next to The Garage, nail salon, etc. Parking can be challenging during peak hours because of the limited parking, but you have been warned. Once you enter, you are warmly greeted by the staff who promptly serve you. I walked in, stated the name on the order, paid and walked out in less than 5 minutes. Greeting, promptness and expeditious exit are always a huge plus in a fast food establishment and they definitely got it here. The pizza was warm and the kids simply loved it. I would definitely encourage others to visit this Marcos....you'll won't be disappointed. You'll get what you paid for and more. read more

So there's this new pizza joint in town and they opened a location about a mile from me, so I had to see what this new kid on the block was about. Marco's is headquartered in Toledo Ohio and founded by a gentleman who immigrated from Italy when he was 9 and was raised in his family's pizza place. He wanted to bestow his family developed sauce recipe to the masses and focused on the keys to good pizza: sauce, crust and cheese. Using fresh and never frozen ingredients. Their motto is "Ah!-thentic" Italian Pizza. (see what they did there?) I ordered their famous White Cheesy which consists of 4 types of cheese, (one being feta- score +1), bacon, onions, sliced tomatoes and butter garlic sauce, a basic pepperoni pizza and an order of their cheesy bread. Now for the taste test... The white cheesy was a nice combination of flavors and pretty tasty, the pepperoni was good and I get the uniqueness of their sauce. Had a bit of zing to it but not overwhelming. The cheesy bread was, well...cheesy bread. Nothing amazing. My over all rating though is Meh. The crust was too chewy for my liking and it really just tasted like chain pizza to me. I heard good things, I was excited to try it, but this did not amaze me. I've had pizza from Italy, New York and Chicago. The power houses of pie, the trio of tastiness on crust, I my fellows have had them. You know what friends? Honestly the two best pizzas I have ever had in my 43 years of existence were in Paris France and Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota. A close third being here in OKC at a local joint that I've touted before. Maybe it's me, I can't speak for everyone's taste buds, nor have I been nominated the premier pizza taster of earth but Marco's pizza is just pretty okay chain pizza to me and not a must have. I think there was something special that the founder had back in his family pizzeria that once you mass produce it, the magic is gone. We've tried several items at Marcos. The pizzas are great. By far our favorite is the thin crust. It's one of those in which my wife and I were both, "we're going to order that again tomorrow night!" We tried their italian sandwich. Probably won't try that again as it was just ok, but maybe we're not a good judge of what an italian sandwich should taste like. The cinnamon bread is sinfully awesome. I'm not even that big of a bread/dessert fan, but this is amazing. Their deliver is fast and friendly. Their branding makes them look a little marginal (kinda like a pizza place that's in a strip mall next to a 7-11), but don't let that sway you away. It's truly one of the best pizzas around. It was a disaster. We called and put in our order and they said it would be delivered in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later I call them again and was told that they were busy but the driver was only 3 minutes away. 30 minutes later I called them again and asked to talk with the manager. He told me that they had the order down as 'take-out'. I explained that we were told that the pizza was on the way so there should have been no confusion. He asked for our address again and then told us that we were out of his area. Ordered carry out tonight and came to pick it up - when I arrived they explained that they had to remake my pizza bc they forgot the 'no onions' part of the order. I placed and paid for an online order around 10am for delivery at 12pm on a Friday. By 12:20pm the site said the pizza was still in the process of being made. I had two toddlers waiting for lunch before their nap. I called, the employee who answered informed me that they were short staffed and that my order will be delivered soon. 12:50pm comes around and I call again. The same staff member tells me they are backed up and that my pizza will be delivered soon. I inquire how long and he said maybe 1:30pm (1.5 hr after the time I specified). I asked for my order to be cancelled. I realize that COVID-19 is causing a lot of issues for everyone. But during my call at 12:20pm, I should have been informed of the severity of the delay especially since I mentioned two children were waiting for their lunch. I am very disappointed with how they handled the situation and will not be coming back. I urge you all to avoid this place if possible. read more
