So, I've been going to the Marco's on Blackbob Rd in Olathe, KS for years now! I felt like I knew a lot of the people and they knew me, as I was quite the regular. Then 2 weeks ago I went there and ... well, I didn't recognize anyone and they didn't seem to recognize me. Hmm, odd! But I picked up my pizzas and went on my way! When I got the pizzas home, my wife complained non-stop about how they skimped on the ingredients, so much so that I finally said: "I didn't know anyone there! Maybe they changed ownership or something?" Well, a week later I made a POINT to check her pizza in particular before even handing it to her and SURE ENOUGH, literally the meatballs on her pizza was easily 70% to as much as 85% LESS than she used to get! It was STAGGERING how much LESS (that word again!) they put on the pizza and ... by the way, the pizza prices have gone UP too! Gee, FAR LESS INGREDIENTS for MORE MONEY! I've ordered from this Marcos literally dozens of times. The staff and food is ALWAYS incredible. The restaurant is clean and people are friendly. Whether it's pizza, calzones, salads, wings, pizza bowls, or breadsticks, the food is always consistently delicious, a great value, and cooked so quickly. I liked the reasonable prices, the almost on-time service and the delicious pizza from my carryout lunch visit, the order tracker was disappointing. The large (14") two topping pizza (reasonably priced at $8.99) was ready six minutes after the promised pickup time. The pizza had generous amounts of tasty cheese and toppings with a somewhat tangy sauce on a delicious, perfectly baked original crust. The service at the counter was accommodative and somewhat cheerful. I noticed a table with seating for six in the dining area, faint background music coming from the kitchen and a patio area outside. Every time I order from this location they drastically mess up the order. Incorrect every time. They NEVER include the sauce that I pay for.

Food and service was good no complaints - got what I paid for! They give me consistency when I order will continue to order from them!

I always go to the Marco's in Olathe ks I called my order in and asked for a certain crest in a certain pepperoni pizza when I got home and I did know which pizza had less sauce than the other and I called and asked about it i got i don't know. I called back to ask about the kind of pizza because I did not taste right and the guy responded back and says I know it is the right pizza because I made it. It does not taste good. They are going to make me go to a different Marco's. read more

Something has changed about this location, and unfortunately it's not for the better. This used to be our go to pizza place if we wanted something close to home. However, the last several times we've ordered from this location, attention to detail and consistency seem to be lacking. Our order is rarely ever completely correct, sometimes the cheese sticks are inedible because they've been cooked so far passed done, and we never quite know if double pepperoni will result in 4 per slice or 20. read more

Having moved from Chicago, we know our pizza. We had our stand-by delivery pizza when we moved here but Marco's somehow displaced our old standby. Somehow, the large cheese pizza and the cheese bread won the heart of our daughter. She always asked for Marco's when pizza comes up. She even had us order Marco's for her birthday. There are always good deals to make it cost-efficient. The movie add-on is nice, as well. Recently, we ordered the thin crust and found that it was on par with some of our favorite thins in Chicago. We first tried Marco's over three years ago when we moved into the area. Great pizza and would recommend Marco's to anyone.

I know we've got the whole covid thing going on, but still.  I tried ordering a pizza from this place last week, via Door Dash. I waited over an HOUR, and my Door Dash status still said it was being prepared. Never even got to a point where a driver picked it up. So I cancelled the order, got my DD credits, and ordered from a closer place. read more

Can't really say if the pizza is good or not. Customer service was so poor I never got that far. I asked what the specials were and was told to look them up on line. I told him I wasn't able to go online and it didn't matter in the least. First time trying them and it's the last. My family and I really liked it. It was different than all other pizza places in the area. I loved how you could add seasoning to the pizza and crust. This was unique. The pizza itself was so good. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but we really liked it. We have already gone back twice. The service is wonderful as well. It's really cool that they not only deliver, but will deliver movies for you as well. I think you also get a free rental for each pizza, or something along those lines. read more

I like the pizza from this place!! Just the regular crust, I had thin crust once and wasn't impressed. We usually get some kinda of combo of pep., sausage, mushrooms, bacon. We order from Marco's all the time and the pizza is delicious! However, there is one employee who never, ever has any idea where our order is and can't find it or our name in the system. The pizza Marco's serves is good. However, we've run into too many problems to continue ordering from here. About 2 years ago I ordered online 3 hours before I wanted to pick up our pizza. My fiancé wound up waiting at Marco's for about 90 minutes to get our order. After that experience we've avoided Marco's for awhile. Ordered delivery ahead of time last night. It was 15 minutes late, which isn't a huge issue, and the driver gave us someone else's order. When I called to see what would be done to get us the right pizza I was told that our pizza was given to someone else and that the driver was going to get it & bring it to us. I told them that I didn't want pizza that had been in someone else's house for who knows how long and was told "we're really busy in here, I don't know if we have time to remake your order" then he sat the phone down. A woman got on the phone and identified herself as the chef. When I told her what the guy had just told me she first tried to tell me that isn't what he said...then said "well I don't know why he said that, he's not the manager I am." Why identify yourself as the chef and not the manager when helping with a customer problem? Also, maybe don't tell your customers that they're lying? We did eventually get our pizza. The only person who didn't have terrible customer service was the poor delivery driver. He's the one that mixed up the original orders but was still the most pleasant employee interaction. There are plenty of pizza delivery places in town, no need to deal with crappy customer service. read more

We live close to the restaurant and had been waiting for it to open for another pizza option, hoping it would be a great neighborhood stop on the way home and of course for the convenience of pizza and a movie. The video store has an ordering window to start your order while you browse, and an online option for renting a movie with your delivery order. Anyway, we ordered delivery online and got subs instead of pizza. The delivery took 20 minutes and the sandwiches were tasty. We ordered the Steak & Cheese Bruno, and the French bread was delicious and the meat was flavorful. The mushrooms were canned, but doesn't take away from the sandwich especially since it was only $7.99 for a 12" hot sub. I was impressed by the small franchise in a video store. read more

With anything, customer service is important. And especially true with food. The folks at Marco's in Olathe are kind and efficient. They listen and hear what you'd like and also read back your order. They honor coupons for ANY size pizza and actually give you the complete discount. Then a friendly delivery person brings a perfectly made to order pizza. It's okay pizza. The crust was fine. Kind of doughy if you like it that way. The sauce was bland and could have used more toppings. We had extra cheese and it still wasn't much. The cheese breadsticks was all bread and a sliver of hard cheese on top. read more

Pizza was alright, not bad, not great. I ordered and paid ahead of time. As I walked in the door I heard the guys that cook the pizzas put my order up on the shelf. However, I waited 10 minutes to be able to grab my food, since they had only 1 cashier and the people ahead of me decided they were going to ponder every choice on the menu. There were about 10 people behind the counter as well, and they just sort of looked at the line forming like it was amusing, but didn't do anything to help remedy the issue. read more

Staff is mostly teenagers from the high school across the street -- full disclosure, the Boy is one of them, so I don't think I can fairly assess the friendliness of the customer service, LOL. It's a tightly regulated franchise, so you know what you're going to get... good hand-tossed crust, sauce with a mild bite (nothing too spicy) and pretty generous toppings. The thin crust is also very good! They also do subs, salads, wings, cheesy bread, and cinna-squares. They're affiliated with the video store next door, marketing dinner-and-a-movie specials. We love their pizza BUT the service is hit and miss...mostly miss. There's a certain young man who works the register that leans on the counter and seems generally uninterested in being there, yet he's the only person we've been able to interact with. He doesn't even stand up when he's taking your order. He is not a good customer service person as he is unable to problem solve a situation either. Also had problems with an online order. Placed it at 5:45 to be picked up at 6:30. Walked in at 6:30, order was not done. Leaning boy shrugged his shoulders until I demanded a manager. The manager was kind enough to refund us because at 6:30, we were told it would be at least another 20 minutes. We left with no food. It just sucks because their pizza is really good! read more

I do not recommend ordering their pizza online. This is the 2nd time that they didn't get our order. We checked in and they said they saw our order yet did not even attempt to make it. After 30 minutes of waiting, they said oh sorry sometimes we don't get our web orders. Yet they knew we checked in and that we were waiting. They saw our order.
