Dining area.

I LOVE this location!! We went to another location and the experience was not great. THIS Minsky's in Leawood is very nice!! The pizza is expensive, but it's very good. Our server was super great! She was very efficient and helpful. We like the vibe here too, because the place is warm and friendly. There are TVs if you wanna watch football or whatever's on. Overall, we like it and this is our spot for pizza now.

Minkseys is the best pizza joint in KC. There are a ton of them, but the state lines location is one of the better ones. If you go for lunch, they sell by the slice, which is a bit better than getting a personal sized.

Oh Minsky's, how I've missed you! I grew up in KC, which means I grew up with Minsky's. I've lived in Denver for 16 years though, so no Minsky's. They are an institution. Just as good as I remembered. I got the Papa Minsky's, which has several meats, diced sweet red peppers, and their "sweet" sauce that just has sweeter tomatoes. We got mozzarella sticks, pretty standard and pretty good, and my daughter got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo which comes with a couple of garlic breadsticks. So good, so creamy. A hint of nutmeg, a lot of cheese, and plenty of black pepper. Do yourself a favor and stop by a Minsky's, they're all over town.

I have dined here many times and realized I never provided a review. The food is consistently good as is the service. Clean and efficient. Lunch special is a good deal with slice, salad, and drink for less than $8.

So so so expensive and the larges are more like mediums. They need to lower their prices

Reliable pizza option. Salads are sorta underrated. Generally speaking, if you are looking for a pie in KC, you should trust this

The women working the cashier was very kind and helpful. Absolutely fantastic quality of food and coffee! Our whole group was impressed with everything that we ordered. The stand out was the bacon Gouda sandwich on some phenomenal ciabatta bread. The bagel was outstanding. The pastry case was drool worthy and we'll have to come back to eat through it. Price wise its a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the quality you're receiving. Lots of free street parking available. Note for the cold brew lovers - they don't serve cold brew so be ready with your back up order.

It's small but not too small with the outdoor and upstairs seating. I was quickly greeted by the very friendly staff after walking in. I asked "what's the best thing on the menu if I was never to be here again (I'm a driver and likely won't)" and she said the bacon Gouda and boy oh boy was it good! The bacon was very high quality and so was the bread. The cheese was super melted and made the almost garlic buttery mayo taste even better. I would highly recommend it and would recommend this place!!

I have been dining at Planet Sub for many years, but not the last 12 as we lived in Las Vegas. As soon as I remembered this place, my wife and I made a beeline to have lunch here. The gal who helped us at the counter, was super helpful and kind. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant and even the restrooms. I highly recommend this location. Their toasted dubs are the best. We've tried several things on the menu, and all of them are absolutely excellent. You can't go wrong here!

I work from home now, I don't get out and about to my previous Planet Sub locations I frequented near my places of work before. But this place is worth a local "road trip" to treat myself to one of the best sandwich shops in the Kansas City area. IMHO, it puts the "freaky fast" and other competitors to shame. There is a large variety of sandwiches, never a lack of something to pick from when you go in there. And they genuinely come out hot! I love that they expanded the chips selection from when I used to go there before I was sent to work from home. Their cookies are second to none. And a decent selection of sodas at the fountain as well. I have to knock it one star due to no fault of the people who run this place, but for the corporation that owns them. It's disappointing that they have closed locations near me. I understand business choices, having to close restaurants due to increases in rent/poor performing, etc. But this is the only one on the side of the state line in Missouri, and that's very disappointing. I wish they would come back to Lee's Summit.

This location is near a very busy interchange between I-435 and State Line Road. Quite the crossroads. It's nice inside, not overly fancy yet well-kept. Not a cheap eatery, but it's Italian cuisine done right. Seeing any restaurant rather busy amidst the rush of 103rd & State Line weekday traffic is a good sign, and it was slightly hectic, to the point one server mixed up a couple of orders. Fortunately, an astute diner caught the error before it mattered. Seeing orders lined up around meal times is a sign that the business is thriving, and clearly it is. The food didn't disappoint, either. I was here for their cannoli, and they even had more than one style when I visited. Wanting to be sort of a purist, I chose the Sicilian variety (to share with my Sicilian friend who, like me, LOVES cannoli) and they were great. I shall return to try other options here. Four and a half rounds up to five stars.

Had the Fat Marco's sandwich, Garlic butter, mortadella, capicolla, salami, olives, onions, & provolone. 1st bite the garlic butter hit me and i became ravenous. Each further bite, more flavors combined like a really good lasagna! Bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy like sourdough on the inside. If you need a more affordable meal than Jasper's, and one that doesn't skimp on flavor or authentic Italian wafting aroma, Then imho you really ought to go here!
