    Korean steak tacos
    Brittne C.

Tried the newly opened Third Street Social in Olathe and had a great first visit. I've never been to any of their other locations, so this was my first time checking it out. The restaurant is really nice inside. It feels trendy and updated, but not in a stuffy or snooty way. We ordered the sangria (seasonal flavors) and the Soccer Mom cocktail. Both were good, but definitely stronger than expected, so just a heads up on that. I also tried the Diet Coke. Good flavor, but not quite enough carbonation (if you know, you know). We started with the Korean steak tacos and those were probably our favorite thing we ordered. So good. I honestly could've eaten a whole plate of just those. For mains, we tried the Animal Style Burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger had a pretty strong mustard flavor, so if you're not into mustard, just know that going in. The chicken sandwich had a huge piece of chicken and was really well seasoned. The only real downside was the service, which was a little slow, but they're newly opened so I'm willing to give them some grace there. Overall, I'd definitely go back and am looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Had a great experience at 3rd Street Social in Olathe! The menu takes comfort food to the next level, with elevated dishes that feel both familiar and unique. Everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The cocktails were a standout and definitely worth ordering more than one. The patio has a great atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for date night, happy hour, or a night out with friends. And don't skip dessert--you'll somehow find room for it. Olathe is lucky to have this addition. Amazing service and lovely patio. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

We went on a Friday early evening. I got a green goddess salmon salad. It was delicious! Salmon was seasoned perfect and the salad had very fresh veggies! I don't think this place has been open very long, but it seemed very unorganized. There isn't any place for you to stand or really wait when you're waiting for your table. Then when we got seated, it was hectic the person seating us walked one way and then apparently we were supposed to follow somebody else. Then it took quite a while for someone to come to our table to get our drinks. And then after we got our food, no one really ever came back. I would say service wasn't that great. As far as ambience goes, there is none it echoes so bad and it was so loud in there. I don't think I could come back and eat again and it wasn't because it was busy and people were enjoying themselves. It was like there wasn't enough furniture or anything else to take away from all of the noise.

Good service and even better food! We will definitely be going back. Fourth Fridays in Olathe made it extra busy but the staff handled it perfectly.

Deviled eggs & homemade pickles on starter menu-yummy!

The fish tacos were delicious. And the chicken pot pie was great. My family enjoyed brunch. The wait staff were friendly and talkative.

Food and service fine. Noise is out of control, even for a late lunch on a Tuesday. For a quieter time, go to the Speedway. Won't be back.

Saw lots of couples - maybe this a the local date night spot?? Popped in on a Saturday evening. No reservation needed. Started with the garlic bread and chicken samosas. Both were delish. The samosas were stuffed full of chicken. The green sauce was tasty too. Lots of seafood, chicken, beef and pork entrees. I was not familiar with some of the fish entrees. It's a big menu and almost all of it is in Spanish. So I went with what Genevieve our server recommended. The chicken breast with onions and peppers. It's sounds plain but it was full of flavor and served with black beans and rice. I substituted plantains for tostones. The tostones were meh. My dinner companion ordered the chimichurri steak. It also came with black beans, white rice and plantains. She said it was delicious. They also serve paella - which I really wanted to try but they entree is for 2 or more. Some of the fish items are kinda spendy. But the other meat items are in the $20 or less range. In addition to soda and lemonade, they serve margaritas and beer. I ordered a skinny margarita and it tasted watered down. So next time I'll ask for no ice. For dessert we tried the churros. Not bad. The service was great. I'll definitely come back to try some of the seafood entrees.

I've heard about this place, but I avoided it until recently, opting for either Omaha Cigar or Safari, both great Omaha establishments. I was content to smoke on my back patio by myself, but a good friend asked me to join him and I agreed. First off, it's a cool building with a lot of history. It used to be a garage, probably built in the 1910's or 20's, so very rustic. The owners put a lot of thought into it, from the specially made leather chairs, some huge, some diminutive so you don't have to feel like you're in one of those chairs at Silver Dollar City that everybody gets their picture taken in, to the special glass, HVAC, Humidor, etc... you can tell this was a labor of love. Secondly, the service is excellent! From the tobacco experts that will guide you through the humidor to the people who work in the 2 attached establishments. There is a speakeasy next-door, just pick up the phone at the front door, say "Joe sent me" and you are allowed into one of the finest drinking establishments in the 5 county metro, replete with all of your favorite beers and craft cocktails that are out of this world! Then, you have the Bellows, an outdoor, intimate music venue that sports 2 firepits, a stage, heaters for those cold nights, and plenty of seating. I was lucky enough to find out about an event that they were having with Toscano Cigars, where for a paltry sum we were treated to the history of that company, a package of cigars, cutters, lighters, and some great Italian food. Then we watched the full length version of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. It was an event to remember. After my 3rd visit, I realized that this is a family.
