I had read on a thread somewhere that recommended Marcos pizza as being excellent. we arrived on a Tuesday, 5 PM and it was very quiet inside. I did not know what to expect and did not realize that the pizza was made to order so no slices to go Only pies. They had several choices, pepperoni and sausage. Veggie kind I believe I'm sure some sort of supreme style as well. I chose the plain cheese, which I think was called the big cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. Very cheesy came out piping hot. The slices are small. They reminded me of Pizza Hut with that nice thick topping the crust had that nice chewy and crunchy texture at the same time. I really liked it. Definitely better than a limp cheese pie at a pizzeria that is trying desperately to be New York. Marcos has its own style and the staff is helpful and pleasant. read more

We purchased 2 calzones for take-out. Took them home only to find they were burnt black and inedible. ( See my picture of it in the photos) . Yet the employee still gave them to us to eat. They must have known they were bad because I saw it as soon as I opened the boxes at home. It was a waste of money and our time to go to this restaurant, just to have our meal ruined. I called the store at 10:35 stating their app was showing the driver already delivered it, and they told me she JUST left! I asked why it stated delivery was 10:26 if she got there after that?? This is probably one of the worst companies that I have seen in a while that has no respect for its employees. I have been in the store that is in Palm Coast several times. Once a week at least and usually it's great. But there have been a few times that I go in to pick up my order and there is this guy there yelling at the employees. Treating them with total disrespect, even calling one of them lazy & stupid at one point. Telling them how the store is a disaster. DURING A HURRICANE!!!! BUSY AS ALL GET OUT BECAUSE THEY ARE ONE OF THE FEW PLACES OPEN WITH POWER !!! II mean it won't be spotless when your that busy and it was not even dirty to be honest. Get your butt up and grab a towel or wash your hands and get in there and HELP NOT YELL AT THEM. I was so happy they were even open in the first place to get my kids a hot meal. So finally this last time I asked who that guy was and why he is allowed to keep coming in talking to them that way." This guy was the OWNER he is allowed to talk to us that way." Was the response I got. He talks to you like garbage and in front of customers. I have seen him out side yelling at an employee at a different visit. I have seen him sitting in the lobby taking up space just watching people with his judgmental attitude. If you kid works there I would really question them about how he treats them because the other employees say he is the most disrespectful owner they have ever worked for. I was there Friday and the quality of the food had drastically changed. The customer service was ot like it usually had been. The wait was much longer than normal. And you could just feel the whole atmosphere was different between the employees. Which is a shame because the food is usually so good and my children love it. But I would never want to work in a place where the owner treats his work staff so bad. I honestly felt sorry for a couple of them when I have gone in there and seen him being a hovering, insulting jerk. Because there is just no reason for it. You can get emur point across with out all the yelling and insults. And definitely NOT in front of customers. I honestly am looking for other places to go for pizza. Because why support this guy when he treats people that way. I know you might not agree with this review and if it was just one time I'd let it go. But this has been several time in the last year. And during the hurricane when people needed a hot meal other companies were there to help. It was so obvious he was there to profit. And yelling at his employees while they are slammed in front of customers is so unprofessional. Maybe he will see this maybe he won't. People are either going to agree or disagree with this review. Love Marco's beats the rest chains we have here. Always really good. If your order is wrong they fix it right away and deliver it right back . Recently they have been short staff so be patient if your order is large order . I will say though if you order specific unwanted items on pizza check before pizza guy leaves this has happen 2x do to rushing . Manger super nice and staff. read more

I just can't say enough about Marcos Pizza. Ordered for the first time a year ago, we order very often and never disappointed with them. Today was difficult day for our family, so we ordered a pizza. It was running behind so i called them to find out about the status and without a pause, the girl apologized and gave us a free item. 10 min later our delicious pizza arrived with our free tasty cheesey bread. (Please keep in mind i did not call to complain at all. I don't blame the employees(obvious poor management) But tonight Thursday 11/17 we ordered food like we do weekly online. They had no problem taking our money. We ordered at 6:50 and not it's 9:55 pm and we still have not received our food, what's frustrating more is that's I've been on the phone for over 30 minutes to cancel our order and no one has picked up the phone. We order once or twice a week since they opened and this is beyond ridiculous. We will never order from this place again. At least be grown enough to let us cancel our order and refund our money. Why I like this joint: 1. Booths are comfortable. 2. Gluten Free Crust is the same price as regular. THANK YOU LORD. Also comes in more than just the microscopic size that other places dish out. 3. Sausage is peppery and spicy and the chunks are huge! Other perks: 1. Disabled parking right up front, less than 5ft from door. 2. Sink in bathroom at a good height for people with back problems or who are tall. (like myself) Even though they dont deliver to my area, its worth the trek to carry out. Spectacular customer service! Delivery man apologized as he handed me TWO pizzas ??? The store had cut the first one into Chicago squares, so they remade the pizza and cut it into triangles as ordered. They gave us their "mistake" for free. We ordered online just as the Super Bowl was about to start. Wait time was posted as 45-55 minutes, and that was more than reasonable considering it was Super Sunday. Avoid this place ! Josh who says he's a manager is rude and does not follow through with your orders. This has become the worst place to order pizza in Palm Coast. I had always enjoyed the pizza from Marcos. They're seasoned crust, when they get the order right, is out of this world. Until the last three times I've ordered they've been the best in Palm Coast. However, the two times prior to my order tonight, my pizzas we're not as I ordered them. I called to order again tonight , since I had a $10 credit from the last mistake. I spoke with someone named Josh who said he was the manager . He seemed to have an attitude from the beginning. Again this is not like any other experience I've had at Marcos . Everyone in the past has always been very nice and helpful . I asked what specials they had and was told they didn't have any. Which I realize later is untrue because I found coupons that say they are good until the 28th of February . I asked the price difference between delivery and pickup. I was told 2.75 told Josh and I told him to deliver it. I left to go out, my husband and Son were waiting at home for the pizza which never arrived. When my husband called he was also met with Josh's aggressive attitude. He said that I never placed an order. Then backtracked and told my husband the pizzas were ordered for delivery and we're sitting there for them to be picked up. Pickup was no longer an option and wasn't going to be which is why I ordered it for delivery. I am extremely disappointed with how quickly this Marco's has gone from amazing to disappointing. Ok. So as annoying as this place makes me feel I must admit I like their sandwiches. Even though every darn time I use the online order system and pick what I want and do not want on my sandwich it's always messed up! It annoys me because they are actually pretty good! Called to place an order for delivery. After having to repeat my address 4 times and still not getting it correct, I hung up. Collected my thoughts and called back. The same person answered the phone and put me on ignore. After returning to take my order I asked to speak with someone else. He asked, who would you like to speak with? I said the manager, he said I am the manager. I can't believe they would hire a person so flippant and sarcastic to answer the phone or have him as a manager.
