    Greek Salad
    Tom L.

The restaurant was organized and neat when I stopped in, very very friendly staff, I don't think I've been greeted when I walked in and greeted when I walked out in any pizza location. I was a little taken back but very nice friendly location. The greek salad with me was a bit expensive $7 for 1 salad with no meat but when I split the salad in half, added my own sliced white onions, and my own hard boiled egg, not bad at all. It's enough for 2 people. The dressing actually was very tangy and impressive. Nice Greek taste. The pizza deluxe bowl, man, if you want the full flavor of pizza without feeling full or with carbs, this is the best place to get a pizza bowl. All the flavors of a deluxe pizza with the fresh toppings with the pizza sauce on the bottom, all flavor without the guilt of carbs. Amazing.

Delivery was quick and the pizzas where outstanding! They came in hot with gooey cheese on a crunchy crust that was buttery garlicky! Condiments and dipping sauces were not forgotten. Will definitely order again.

I ordered pizza for my son which I Aleah choose Marcos because it's my son's favorite. So I ordered and the pizza was running a little late then usual my son didn't want anything else so the Manager Josh personally delivered the pizza to my son. He threw in a fudge brownie cake and the original pizza was all remade and he even gave me the old pizza so we got 2 free pizzas and a brownie, thank Josh for making sure my son got his pizza!

I ordered a pizza on Friday and it was a deluxe. I chose to get half of it with no Italian sausage.. when we got home the pizza was half cheese and the other one barely had anything on it. When I called, they wanted me to drive all the way back to get the correct. Was going to charge me full price for my pizza. I didn't have the time to drive back so I just threw the pizza away. I paid $17 for a pizza that I didn't even eat. When my husband told them he wanted the pizza to be correct, there response was we all want that? I think that is extremely rude and I will never go back.

Been eating at various Marco's Pizza's for over 7 years. Never had a bad meal. My fav topping is the old world pepperoni. Unfortunately, some of the toppings feel like they are coming from cans. Their crust toppers add an extra layer of flavor to the crust - i recommend splitting up half garlic butter crust topper and half Roma seasoning to compare and decide which is to your liking. They also have thin, thick, original, and New Yorker crust styles. The original is already doughy enough for me so never tried the thick crust. My preferred crust style is New Yorker and thin which is kinda flat bread style and very crispy. This location has been pretty good. They have messed up my order once but offered to fix it / redo for free. Often have good deals on the website. Currently they have curbside pickup so that's really appreciated. I recommend this location overall!

This is not my first or last rodeo with Marco's. The food is solid every single time. The crust is fluffy, garlicky and crunchy. We have never had anything here we weren't delighted with! I have to say order the little chicken dippers. If you're a fan of Buffalo sauce order the hot sauce with it. It is the perfect amount of heat and kick back. Yum E....

This was one of those places that popped up on my Yelp radar so I decided to check it out since the reviews were quite good. This place is nestled inside a strip center and gas station. I called in the order and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. It was well worth the $15 for the two topping large pizza. We were also pleasantly surprised that they do offer some really good coupon offers. The picture says it all. And they are definitely worth a call.

1st time ordering at this location......LOOK AT THAT GOODNESS..........

So we moved and now get Marco's from this location....and gotta say, damn they are good...how good???? Slap me silly and make my belly jiggle good....this fat man is in pizza heaven.....they are THAT much better then the Gattis School Rd. location. First time ordered a thin crust (photo posted) and gotta say...I lost my ability to keep the dribbles from happening out of my gaping mouth.....dear Lord Almighty that was some good grubbin pizza.....hit the spot perfectly. Also had a chicken caesar salad....real good, however, like the other location...the croutons were soft n stale....but oh well, the pizza put me in a pepperoni induced daze..... 2nd, 3rd and 4th times ordering....same damn good fat man approving pizza.......croutons tho were soft n stale each salad tho...lol But hey......this isn't about the salad...its about the amazing properly greasy pizza that makes this fat man's eyes glaze over everytime I open the box............. So, to sum things up......FAT MAN APPROVED...................................enough said!!!! Sure wish them croutons were fresh tho.................................................. Oh, and their wings are pretty darn good to.....plenty of meat for that spicy chicken treat......

Yummy! Pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers. Stellar new manager

These guys are under new management, we just dropped in to order a pizza a week or so ago and they took our order but forgot to let us know the pizza was finished so we were waiting for awhile...we didn't really notice and it wasn't a big deal but the new manager comped our pizza because he felt bad for their slippage on customer service. I hope they get through the growing pains, the pizza is pretty good and everyone working there was nice (at least in person). I think they might need to update their coupons and work on their phone ordering, but hopefully they can get more staff to help with that.

The place had a great buzzy atmosphere, well-lit and cozy, but the staff are stand out. I personally will come back again just to have Jess R wait on me, she made that much of a great impression!

The Mango Habanero wings had just the right amount of spice and was not overpowering like some other wing restaurants. Also I rarely eat Ranch dressing with my wings, but the Ranch dressing here tastes much better than other wing restaurants I have tried. Overall a VERY impressive experience and I may need to become a more frequent visitor. I also like the fact this is a veteran owned restaurant, that makes me want to visit even more.

They were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of vinegar and cooked to that ideal tender texture without being mushy. The fried chicken and catfish were outstanding. Both were well seasoned, incredibly crispy, and tasted like they were fried in fresh grease. Every bite was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The baked macaroni and cheese was good, but it leaned a little more toward a Velveeta-style cheese sauce than my personal preference. Still a solid 9/10. I also ordered the Peach Passion Fruit Hennessy margarita, and it was superb. Smooth, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. If you're looking for authentic soul food in Austin, The Rolling Rooster is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be back.

The young lady at the register left quickly when we approached, and when I asked if we could dine in, she told us there was no room. That felt unusual, but we decided to order takeout. While placing the order, she mentioned there were plumbing issues and something was overflowing, which raised another concern about the cleanliness of the environment. She also seemed anxious and unprofessional during the interaction. We were told the food would take about 15 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30-45 minutes. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, especially for the price. The oxtails, rice, greens, and macaroni and cheese were around $36. The okra looked like it had been refried, and the chicken wings tasted as though they were cooked in old grease. The greens had an unusual flavor, and the macaroni and cheese did not taste like traditional mac and cheese. The oxtails were messy but not tender. Based on the lack of professionalism, the long wait, and the overall quality of the food, I do not plan to return.

The website paints a picture of a beach‑side getaway: easygoing, flavorful, relaxed. That's exactly why our visit felt so mismatched. My partner and I ordered the Perfect Storm sampler and 10 bone‑in wings, split between Garlic Ginger and Garlic Parm. The wings came mixed with flats and drums, which was fine, but both flavors were so greasy that we had to wipe them down before eating. And not just a little sheen -- I mean the kind of oiliness that dulls the seasoning and clings to your fingers. The Garlic Ginger had a nice aromatic profile underneath, but the fat muted it. The Garlic Parm leaned heavy, with the grease overshadowing any sharpness from the garlic or cheese. The sampler didn't fare much better. The fries were soggy and limp, the kind of texture that tells you the oil temperature dropped or the batch sat too long. The shrimp and mozzarella were edible, but lacked crispness -- everything felt weighed down instead of bright or crunchy. When fried food loses its structure, it loses its appeal, and that's exactly what happened here. From a food‑critic standpoint, the issue wasn't flavor -- it was technique. Grease is a symptom. It usually means the oil wasn't hot enough, the baskets were overloaded, or the fry time wasn't adjusted. When the oil temp drops, moisture stays trapped inside the food, and instead of crisping, it absorbs the fat. That's how you end up with wings that feel slick instead of snappy and fries that collapse under their own weight. And that's where the disconnect with the branding hits hardest. The website promises "hot and crispy wings with a 100% chance of cold, frothy beers," "jumbo‑sized wings," and "an escape from the ordinary." What we received felt more like a kitchen struggling to keep up -- heavy food, tired textures, and none of the crispness that defines good fried comfort food. The frustrating part is that the service was excellent. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind -- the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of before the food even arrives. But the kitchen execution didn't rise to meet that level. When the service is top‑tier and the food feels like an afterthought, the imbalance becomes impossible to ignore. Great people, but the food didn't match the promise or the care they put into the experience. We wouldn't return.
