Love Marco's! We order from here 2-3 times a month. We always pick our order up so I can't speak to the delivery times. The pizza is always ready when they say it will be. It's always fresh and tasty. I have, however been a victim of garlic sauce chintziness a number of times, even though I pay extra for it. So Marco's, y'all need to do better in that regard. Their take on a Hawaiian pizza is our favorite. We typically get that and a Caesar salad. We used to get the family sized Caesar but could never finish it. We've had Marco's 3 times since their opening. Once was a pick up from the store and two deliveries. The pizza's were great and we thought we were converts from Papa John's. We live 2.3 miles from the Marco's Liberty Grove location. Tonight (3/25/15) we called to place a delivery order from Marco's and we were told we live too far and they would no longer deliver to us. The good news is that the Papa Johns is 6.7 miles from us and they were more than happy to deliver us a pizza. Guess we jumped the Papa John's ship a bit too early. My husband and I stopped in here today after having driven past frequently since they opened. We always say "we should try them sometime ". We noticed a special '2-2 topping mediums for 7.99 each'. Husband ordered Old World pepperoni and Italian sausage on traditional crust and I ordered chicken and spinach with white sauce on thin crust. Both were excellent! The chicken had real flavor and you could tell it was quality. No spongy texture like you often get. The pepperoni and Italian sausage were also quality as well as the cheeses. I read on MSN that there was a pizza chain in the top 10 fastest growing restaurants in the nation. Being a fat kid and connoisseur of pizza I had to try this place. This pizza is awesome. Their thin crust was outstanding and the hand tossed regular crust was the best I've ever had. The toppings and the quality of the cheese were also top notch. AND, they were generous with both. The couple that owned the place were very nice and hospitable, even took the time to tell us how they got involved with the company. I drove 19 miles from Dallas to try this place and I'll do it again until they build one closer. The other reviews on here I can't agree with. I wouldn't deliver a pizza 3 miles and I wouldn't eat papa johns unless it was free and came with beer. If you like pizza and are in the area--try it. This company is very very unprofessional!! I ordered a pizza at 8:19 and i called back at 9:52 to see why i haven't received my pizza that they said i would receive in 45 mins.. the young lady that took my order took down the wrong address and the wrong phone number even after she repeated it back to me correctly.. then to add injury to insult they showed no concerns about the mistakes that THEY made and said that wasn't sending there driver out again and in pretty much their words "TOUGH LUCK WE WILL TRY AGAIN NEXT TIME". I was excited to try this new addition to our neighborhood but was somewhat disappointed. We ordered pizza and wings for delivery. The pizza was not super hot but that is to be expected with delivery however...the pizza was quite doughy as if undercooked. The toppings and cheese were plentiful which was nice. I'm sure if the pizza had cooked longer it would have been perfect. The wings were fatty and left a lot to be desired. The general manager of this location is amazing and the staff is great. I can tell the business gets very busy at times but that's okay. Most people fail to realize how busy a restaurant can get. I've worked in the pizza business before and at times we even had to stop taking orders. I can tell a lot of the reviews on here are from people who think they're above everyone else in this world. The pizza was fantastic and the lobby is always filled with customers. I even had it delivered before and I think his name was Chris, and he is an amazing person! Very nice and caring. I have been to Marco's at least six times. Their food is consistent and high-quality. I prefer the thin crust pizza. Their specialty pizza called Número Uno is my favorite. Their family size salads are generous and enough to feed 4 to 6. They have a drive through so that you can pick up your pizza within 20 minutes of ordering! I highly recommend Marcos!! read more

We have had almost everything on their menu. You cannot get better pizza in Rowlett. The crust is wonderful, the sauce tastes fresh and the ingredients are high quality. We love the thin crust with the "old world" pepperoni. The subs are really good, especially the meatball. The owners are wonderful and the kids working there are always friendly and enthusiastic. Expect a 30 minute wait, at least on Friday/Saturday dinner time. (This is not Little Cesars, your pizza is made fresh to order.) It is worth the wait. After reading all the reviews on Yelp, I decided to try Marco's pizza and proceeded to order a pizza and wings online. I also ordered extra dipping sauces to go with it. When the pizza was delivered, it was not very hot. I didn't receive my dipping sauces and when I called to tell them, I was told that they would have the driver deliver them to me when he got back. One hour later, I still had not received them, so I called again and was told that they left 5 minutes before to deliver them. Needless to say, they were never delivered and I called and spoke to the assistant shift manager and told him that it would have been better to be told that they forgot about it rather than tell me that it was being delivered twice. Not good business and I will not be ordering from them again due to the customer service and quality of food. read more

I tried ordering twice. The first time, I was informed they were out of crust. On my second try, the 30 minute delivery time turned into 1 hour and 5 minutes, and that was only after I called them. 35 minutes had gone by and they told me they got busy and would eventually deliver. After the delivery driver finally arrived, they forgot part of my order. Late AND undelivered food. I wanted to support this local place, but just cannot support such service. :-( read more

My family ordered from here frequently when we moved to Rowlett 3 years ago but the quality went downhill quickly. I thought we we would give them another go this evening but it was a mistake. I "pre-ordered" our pizza online-to be delivered at 9 pm. I was informed that the time I thought the food was to be delivered was actually the make time. I asked how far their delivery area was because I live in Rowlett! He didn't even know what their delivery area is, just that I was out of their delivery area. They mailed me a flyer. WTH?
