My fiancé and I frequently order from here on Uber Eats and it slaps every. single. time. Seriously, they have never missed once out of the 10+ times we've ordered it. The food is always delicious, it's never cold, and they've never made a mistake on toppings or even forgotten a sauce cup (which is a HUGE achievement on that delivery app). Always loved Marcos in Sanford Fl on Rinehart Rd until now. Ordered two pizzas, one large pepperoni with extra cheese and a cheese with extra cheese pizza on our way home from the airport. Picked it up and got home and it was the worst pizza we've ever had. The pizza was paper thin and pouring grease. The pepperoni pizza box was saturated with grease. Picked slices up and they feel apart. Didn't even want credit just wanted to let them know and the girl who answered the phone hung up on me, so I think she was the one who made the pizza. Normally Marcos doesn't forget about you especially when you walk in physically into the place to order. So, tonight Friday, Nov 19, after my husband went inside to place the order, he was told that it will be done in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, my husband went inside to pick up the pizza and it wasn't done, The pizza maker said he just made it (after my husband walked in) as others who came in after us were picking up their pizzas. So we waited again, but this time my husband stayed inside the restaurant while we all waited in the car. The server/pizza maker never apologized. We were just tired and needed to get home. Ordered a pizza today (Monday night). ordered an XL pizza half cheese half pineapple/sausage. When my fiancé brought it home it was wrong. We called the store back letting them know that we can come back to get a small cheese or try to fix it but they just said there's nothing they can do because they closed in 5 min. I understand that but an establishment is open until that final minute. They could have offered us something or at least apologized. I did give two stars instead of one because when we called the worker gave us a better price with a coupon he had so I thought that was good customer service. For a large, it was $18 plus tax and tip. I think I ended up paying $23. Good thing is I had a coupon for a free medium 1 topping pizza. So I got a pepperoni pizza also delicious, their dough is what make the pizza better than your Pizza Hut, papa John, and etc. without the coupon the pizza would be pricey, but with it, worth it. I was pointed out that the Steak and Cheese was their best seller, so I ordered that. It may have been the single worst sub I've ever encountered. How hard is it to make thinly sliced beef in a sub roll taste good? Well, for starters, using meat that probably went bad last week is not a good start. I called the restaurant to find out the ingredients in their gluten free crust. They told me it was dough without gluten. When I asked for specific ingredients, they said they didn't know. Living in Sanford for a few years now, we have been witness to how many local events that Sanford Marco's is always involved with, including offering aid during natural disasters. A couple of weeks ago we finally had a chance to give them a try, and right off the bat, I was impressed. The restaurant was incredibly clean, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Our food came out quickly, and was good and hot and cooked perfectly. We had the pepperoni pizza and some garlic knots, which were both delicious. The staff checked on us multiple times to make sure things were good while we were eating. All in all, it was a great experience. I foresee us re-visiting often! read more

This location used to be great, until it was sold to different owners. They constantly screw up your pizza by missing requested toppings, crust options, and the requested sides like jalapeños, Parmesan cheese, garlic butter, etc. I decided to finally write a review after the third consecutive screw up. Sadly, I wrote on one of their surveys about this, and I only got a "sorry about that, hope you keep coming back," reply. Want to retain a customer? The pizza is decent. Pretty much your average chain/franchise-style pizza, but that's exactly what I expected when I ordered. However, what I was impressed with was the customer service. The person who took my order and the guy who delivered it, were both happy, helpful and personable. Overall, I'd give the pizza 3/5 and the service 5/5. Woww! We just experienced very bad customer service, we called to place a pick up order over the phone, the gentlemen who took our order was very disrespectful, very defensive. He was saying NO to everything I asked about without giving any recommendations or options. We asked for separate orders to be able to use our redeemable coupons we had. He said that we were not able to do that because "that was worse then scamming" we felt very offended because of that. We asked for the store manager and the gentlemen stated he wasn't able to come to the phone and then mentioned that he spoke Arabic and very little English. So he wasn't able to help us. How is a manager of a store able to handle issues at the store if he is not able to talk to customers. Hopefully all the employees can speak Arabic to be able communicate with him. We have been frequent customers since that location opened. But We will not be returning and definitely not recommending this location to friends/family or neighbors. read more

I order from Marco's at this location somewhat often. I have friends come over occasionally and let's be honest, when you have a group of people over, you need to serve food. Pizza is great because it's cheap and convenient and this location is close and the pizza can be ready quick! I also love the coupons they send. By all accounts the management/staff at this place has done a great job getting the word out to the community. They took hot pizzas to local businesses at lunchtime, plenty of direct mail, and basically there just seem to be coupons everywhere. The staff are friendly, remember regulars (my friends are some), etc. The ordering process is smooth and things are delivered on time, as ordered. But the food is just not that great. It's a lot like Hungry Howie's, only not as cheap. The sauce is fine, the cheese is of expected national chain (e.g. Pizza Hut) quality, they aren't overly generous with the toppings. The flavored crusts are a nice touch, but nothing to write home about. The cheesy bread is... fine. None of it reheats well, which is a big mark against it in my book as far as national-chain-style pizza is concerned. There just isn't anything that's really impressed me about this place. There is much better food to be had nearby, at similar or even better prices, so good customer service isn't going to win me over on its own. I'm not sorry I tried it, but I probably won't be putting it in my rotation. read more

Like the "Derek U" reviewer, I'm a self-avowed pizza snob. Grew up in NYC area then spent my life in Chicago..the two pizza capitals of the US in my opinion. I kept seeing how the owner of this Marco's (they're individual franchises) was one of the most wonderful, generous guys in the community and heard the pizza was good. I tried it hoping to not be disappointed. It was a GREAT thing to find that the pizza was VERY VERY good! I did thin, sausage and pep with some black olives, THIN and WELL DONE. Sweet Jesus, the crust was crispy. AND the bottom was cooked. AND you could hold it up without it drooping like a wet papertowel. Good amount of cheese, it LOOKED pretty and was DT (darn tasty). And the crazy part? On Mondays...half off. I got a SUPER good pizza, thin and crispy (YES Florida it can be done!!!) with great toppings for (frankly) not enough money to even think twice about coming back again and again. Mark Ingrassia is the owner, a truly nice and generous man...and Marco's is his game. Go here you won't regret it based on my one experience SO FAR. read more

Service so bad, I didnt even place an order. The employee I talked to was an absolute idiot. First I say I want to place and order for carryout, he asks my name then says he doesnt have my order in the system. I pointed out I shouldnt be in the system, I've never ordered from you before. I reiterate I want to place an order for carryout. Then he asks for my address which I found strange, but I obliged. Had to repeat the address 4 times. Then he tells me I'm too far away for delivery (I'm .4 miles away. I can literally see them out the window of my apartment). I then remind him (as he just tried to look up my order in his system) that I was calling for carryout! He says "oh" and then nothing for a good 15sec of silence. Finally I just said thanks I'll order from somewhere else, his response was to just hang up on me before I could even finish talking. What a moron. We have ordered from this location on at least 4 occasions and the food, when it's prepared as ordered, is delicious; however, we have had two occasions recently where they messed up the order and tell us they will credit the account but never do, or just act like it's suppose to be the way it's made. I also have found lately that the people answering the phone to take orders aren't very happy. The last one I had the girl tell me as soon as I called that they had a 45 minute wait for orders. I said that was okay, but she questioned me about it being okay, like asking me again if it was really okay was going to make me decline an order. That's not how you get business. Then she messed up my order, even after clarifying I wanted chicken dippers and not wings ... we got wings with one sauce when we asked for 2 with our chicken dippers. I would also like to note that one time we ordered a pizza and asked for no cheese due to an allergy and they delivered it with crumbled cheese all over it then acted confused and not very nice about it when we called to complain. I completed the survey for both occasions of inaccurate orders and asked to be contacted, but I will tell you now they won't follow up. It's almost as if they just don't care. Having tried a lot of places, I can confidently say that Marco's is the best I've found so far and my two year search.
