Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza is extraordinary for a reason. Seriously, this place cleared my expectations. I had heard about them for about two years prior to actually going. It was one of those places, where it's on my list but I think I just never ended up going. That is until recently to the Lake Mary location. Mister 01 has many, many locations all over Florida. So the history is that a chef who was raised in Southern Italy came to Florida and set up his first shop in Miami. It was so popular that they've expanded to Georgia, North Carolina, and even Texas. Their claim to fame is they have some specialized pizzas where the crust is folded and the whole pie kind of resembles a star. They even have a special pizza that has coffee on it, not that it's the one I got but I think it's very unique. We got there on a Friday night and it was very busy. It was about a 20-30 minute wait. Conveniently, they have a trail right behind the building, so we walked a part of it while waiting and it was a nice walk at sunset. It's really fun to be seated and enjoy as you can see the cooking and baking process while getting a slightly high end dining experience. Not that it was that expensive, but it felt slightly more elevated than a Domino's. I got the Star Luca. The Star Luca is a star shaped pizza with ricotta, mozzarella, tomato sauce, spicy salami Calabrese, and basil. The 20 inch costs $20.99. My rating for this one is a 9.5/10. I mean it was insanely delicious. They bring a spicy olive oil to the table, which I loved and used. The crust is so cool that it's filled with ricotta. So it feels like you got the best parts of a calzone and a pizza into one, if I am being honest. I also got a flute of Prosecco Clara C', which was a sparkling white wine with notes of apple. It was good, although a bit pricey at $14.95 a glass. For dessert, we tried the Nutella banana calzone, which was recommended by our waiter. This was an 8/10. It was really good and sweet. I liked that they use their own fermented dough, which is another cool note. My overall rating of this place is a 9/10. I mean the food is really really good. There is a clear reason for how busy it is. It's a step up from your casual pizza joint, but I enjoyed it. read more

I went to Mister 01 on a Saturday night around 6 and it was packed. I asked the hostess how long the wait was and she didn't know. We put our name down anyways, and it was actually a very quick wait. We had a table about 10 minutes later. Our server was great. He was busy, but took time to pass by our table to let us know he'd be right over. When we were seated, there was already water on the table, which was appreciated. I ordered the Marco and my friend ordered the star Beckham. Both were delicious, light and the crust was very thin and crunchy. For dessert, we ordered the Nutella banana calzone and it was gooey, warm and the perfect sweet treat. Despite how busy it was, we were only there for about an hour. The food and service were both excellent. This is some of my favorite pizza in Orlando and I'll be back soon! read more

Okay first of all thank you to Andrew who is very knowledgeable wait staff and helped us out and explaining the different choices of pizzas and helped us out with other options that were on the menu Great customer service second this was our first time attending Mr zero extraordinary pizza as I understand it's has several locations across Florida their pizzas are more of a Neapolitan style which I really did look forward to trying. Since it was lent our only choices were non meat-based style so we didn't get a chance to try a lot we did go with the traditional margarita pizza which allowed us to taste the sauce the cheese how it's constructed overall I really enjoyed the pizza that we had in addition I think probably the biggest deal was wifey liked the wine The this was a huge differentiator for us and guarantees that we will be returning over and over again. So specifically about the pizza it was thin it was a little bit thinner than Neapolitan it was cooked and a traditional steel oven steel pizza oven that one would find New York style pizzas cooked in that was probably the only thing that held back if I would have preferred I would have enjoyed it if it was cooked in a wood fired oven that doesn't stop the fact that it still gets a five-star for the great customer service ambiance was incredible and we will return again read more

My family went back to Mr. 01 Extraordinary Pizza in Lake Mary today. My review and opinion of this restaurant has absolutely changed. My review was responded to right away by Fabiana. Dealing with Mike and the rest of his staff today has solidified that reversal . We ordered the Caprese Salad and a sampling of their pizzas to share, everything was delicious . I'm extremely happy that we gave them another chance, we now have a new pizza place to add into our rotation. read more

We came in for a work lunch and had a great experience. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. Service was good and our server was very nice. We got 7 pizzas and loved all of them. The toppings were fresh and full of flavor. We loved the thin crusts baked to perfection. We loved the star shaped pizzas, the coffee pizza, and the blanco pizza with truffle and honey. We came in on a Friday night and were seated right away! The vibe inside is casual but definitely a step up from your average pizza joint. Clean, modern, and welcoming. Service was super friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. We ordered the Claudio and the Maria pizzas, and both were incredible. The Claudio was so unique. The stracciatella poured over the top with a touch of truffle made it absolutely delicious. If you're into those flavors, it's a must-try. The Maria was equally fantastic. You really can't go wrong with prosciutto on a pizza. The pizzas came out quickly and were hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Overall, we had a great time and an even better meal. This was my first time here and everyone was so nice. I came here for my friends birthday and they did the birthday chant it was amazing. I like how the restaurant is warmly lit, it makes the pizza place cozy. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a half hawaiian and cheese pizza. Both soooo good. First time visiting Mister 01 Pizza after hearing great things about it for a very long time. My friends and I decided to do girls night out at this restaurant and everything went great. The establishment is cute and clean. Our server was amazing, gave us recommendations and was very attentive the entire time we were there. We ordered burrata as an appetizer, 3 pizzas and 1 Nutella calzone for dessert for 5 people. We had plenty of food. Everything was delicious but my favorite thing was the Star Alessandro. The Nutella calzone had bananas in the middle which made it even more perfect. It was pretty big so, definitely a plate to be shared. I will definitely be back. I've tried Mister O1 in south Florida and most recently again in Lake Mary. We ordered two pizzas for pick up, the Star Luca and Elisa. They were delicious and very different from your typical pizza. The crust was very thin, but the flavors were bursting. It almost felt guilt free. read more

Felt like I was eating a giant piece of crust the minimal sauce evaporated the cheese no longer existed. This style reminds me of dehydrated/ dried pizza. We opted for canned Dr Pepper and Diet Coke to drink and water came to the table as soon as we were seated. We opted for the Daniele ($20-13inch) and the Star pizza with pepperoni only ($20-13inch). The Daniele had prosciutto, mozzarella and fresh basil. Super thin and sort of crispy, it was good. The star pizza with pepperoni had ricotta cheese around the crust and the pepperoni tasted like cup pepperoni (iykyk). I thought it was good-my husband thought it was mediocre. They bring a spicy olive oil and crushed red pepper flakes to the table and when I added the spicy oil to the prosciutto pizza, it took it up a notch. So yummy-I bought a bottle and brought it home! Our server was very knowledgeable and told us the history behind the name. And the manager checked on us throughout our time there. It's a cool little place with outside seating. It's the old peach valley in Heathrow, so it's small and homey feeling. Now let's get to the pizza. I was a little skeptical about the ricotta in the star pizza when reading about it. So I had to try it out since that's what it's famous for. And it works perfectly. The crust is a thin crust and the entire pizza is light and airy. It's not over filling. Ordered for pickup for the office. Tried calling ahead but the phones don't open til 11:30, the same as their opening time. My order was over $100, so they asked for credit card payment over the phone. When I arrived, I waited about 10 min for my order. It was packed neatly. I ordered the small Daniele, small Elisa, small vittoria, star Luca, Caesar salad and a Sabrina salad customized. I appreciated the silverware setups and napkins. They offered sauces on the side like hot oil and ranch but I declined. They sell olive oil and wine etc up front. The pizzas stayed hot and were great, even 30 min after pickup. The flavor and freshness keeps us coming back but it's dreaded every order because of the frequency of the errors. Never a quick process. He asked if we knew what an O1 visa was, to which I replied, truthfully, "yes, I had one". Maybe he was tired at the end of a long day, because he later spilled water all over our table. The pizza itself excelled with it's unique star-shaped edges, though the flavors were on the simple side, and the bread to toppings ratio was higher than I'd like, especially for the price! This place is also very kid-friendly -- my kids were given fresh balls of pizza dough to play with while we waited for our order, which was such a clever touch. We ordered the 16-inch Margherita pizza and the star pizza with prosciutto. Both were amazing. The crust was thin and crispy, and they use high-quality ingredients. They even have a red pepper-infused olive oil that adds the perfect kick of heat, so good! The salads are huge too -- the Caesar and Greek are both delicious. We've already been to Mister O1 twice since they opened and I have to say... I'm a big fan! I had heard so many amazing things about this concept from my Miami friends, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It's clear why they're included in the Michelin guide for their award-winning pizza, and I'm glad we now have the new Lake Mary location. It's a much more casual place than I had originally imagined, but the service is top notch and they also have a really nice patio for outdoor dining. When you first walk in, you can see the open concept kitchen with multiple chefs on the line tossing dough and making the pizzas. We've gotten to try 4 different pizzas now as well as their burrata with white truffle oil and prosciutto, and their nutella & banana dessert calzone. Everything has been soooo fresh and delicious. That burrata has to be one of the best I've ever had and the rosemary focaccia bread that's served on the side is phenomenal. 13-in pizzas we've had: Star Luca (*most popular/award winning recipe) Star Carlos Star Beckham Coffee Paolo (yes, with actual coffee grounds on top!) Their signature star-shaped pizzas are the ones that have the ricotta stuffed crust. They also have traditional pizzas and other signature recipes to choose from. I think my favorite so far is the Star Luca with spicy salami and calabrese on top... I love the meats. The Coffee Paolo is their most adventurous pizza and was a pleasant surprise. All the flavors (tomato sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola blue cheese, honey, coffee and spicy salami) are well balanced and actually work together. It's definitely worth a try! I'm not big on nutella or dessert pizza, so the calzone was just ok to me. I'm glad I tried it once, but probably wouldn't order it again. We were also sitting outside on a breezy day so the powdered sugar on top blew everywhere and we were covered in it. I suggest eating that one indoors lol. read more

Stopped by to experience the extraordinary pizza! Our server Katherine did a great job in explaining the origins of the extraordinary pizza and answered all of the questions that we had. Unfortunately, there is no kids menu or any small plates that are toddler-friendly (fries, mac n cheese, pasta, etc) There is a cute little kids coloring book though. I decided to buy a salad for my baby, since he likes tomatoes and avocado. I did the create your own, it came down to $15 for romaine, tomato, avocado, and feta. I thought it was a bit expensive. We started off with one Star Luca and once we tried it we knew it was one of the best pizzas we've had! It's thin yet thick, it's crunchy yet soft, it's spicy yet pleasant. We had to order another one. Only thing I would say is that we wish it had more pepperoni, since it's about $19 per pizza. We asked for honey and got charged .50 cents. I don't mind paying the .50 cents but it was the first time a pizza restaurant has ever charged for plain honey. It's more of an "upscale" dining experience so I understand the charges and prices, I just feel that using only canned drinks with plastic cups took off a lot of the "upscale" they are trying to present themselves as. The staff was all really nice and welcoming, especially the manager. Can't say I'll be back soon, in total we spent $77 for Two pizzas, two cokes (no refills), and a salad. Once we saw how expensive it was for what we got, it suddenly wasn't the best pizza we've had. For this price, we could've gotten Korean bbq (unlimited) or even had a sushi night. Met a friend for lunch at Mister 01. Nice location, but the parking lot is very small, especially for lunch time. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the patio right on the water. Water and glasses are at the table ready. I also ordered a soda which was just a can, no fountain drinks. We ordered the Caesar salad and a Matteo pizza without onions. The salad was huge. Definitely great for splitting. It was crisp and good dressing. We both enjoyed the pizza. The Matteo is sausage, mushrooms, and red onions, but we ordered without onions. It was perfect for two people for lunch. When we got the check we noticed they actually took off $.49 for removing the onions, which as a picky eater, I loved. It's a brick oven pizza, they are famous for their star shaped pizzas, but I'm not a big ricotta eater so I didn't try it. The sauce as good and the crust was crispy without being burnt. Very yummy. We took a trip to Orlando last weekend to explore some different food options. My buddy is a big pizza guy and Mister 01 was high on his list. We sat outside on the porch and Katherine took wonderful care of us. We started with a beer and a water. For apps, we went with the truffle burrata. For pizza we went with the Star Luca and the coffee paolo. The app came out quickly and it looked good. The truffle oil came in a little plastic dropper which we found a bit odd, but it worked as it should. Topping one of the flatbreads with prosciutto, arugula, balsamic, tomato, and truffle burrata was a heavenly bite. Absolute perfection. Our pizzas came out and looked great. The table was too small for two pizzas, but we managed. The star Luca was an interesting experience. It was almost like getting a taste of a calzone at the end of each slice. The piped ricotta was very much enjoyed. The coffee paolo really surprised us. Coffee, gorgonzola, spicy salami, and honey is an incredible combo. The contrasting flavors hit perfectly.
