I really like Marco's Food! Always fast, and 99% orders are on point, everyone makes mistakes. I'll certainly order from them again. This last order (7/18/2024) I added a large Italian Sub to the order and added Lettuce on it as well as other items, which I was charger $0.50 each. No Problem except! When the sandwich arrived there was no lettuce on the sub, I did however find a 1 ounce plastic cup w/lid, with enough lettuce to cover about a 1/3 of the sandwich for $0.50 Really? I should have called, or at least taken pictures of it. It was almost laughable. And I don't like jokes like this! A WHOLE Head of Lettuce is $1.94. read more

There are some great people in this store, and then there is one bitchy girl who seems hell-bent on making the lives of people who come into the store miserable. She is rude, demeaning, and downright miserable. The pizza is good, many of the employees are super friendly, but I will never come back and will make sure everyone knows how horrible this girl is. I love being humorous in my reviews, I am here to entertain, but this girl has sucked all the wind out of my sail. I believe she's a manager, though she definitely doesn't act like one. I asked for her name and she refused to give it, but she has an arrow type tattoo on her arm. The best thing this store can do for its reputation is fire her. My next step is going to be to call their franchise department and let them know how horrible of an experience it is to go to the store. read more

I actually find the food pretty good and love their old world pepperoni. The reason for the poor rating has little to do with taste, price or even the fact that the last order was screwed up. I called today for their pepperoni magnifico special. I've ordered this numerous times and recently have asked for them to just use the old world pepperoni (ie, instead of normal and old world, just load it up with the old world). Until today, this was a simple request that they honored. However, today the young lady taking the order insisted this constitutes a specialty pizza and costs more. After going back and forth and due to her insistence, I cancelled the order. With so many other pizza shops in the area of similar caliber, you'd think they wouldn't be such jerks about something so easily accommodated. So, I won't be back over a few bucks. Instead I ordered from East of Chicago after considering Luca's, Gionino's, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, etc.....you get the idea. read more

Wow we just did our usual order of 2 pizzas, one thin crust the other hand-tossed and a salad. We always use Marcos because they were the first to offer good salads so stuck with them all these years. But I have to say tonight was the best pizzas ever and we've had our fair share of them all over the country! They were perfectly cooked and delivered quickly. Just the right amount of sauce, toppings plentiful and oh my the Italian sausage they used was so perfectly tender. I don't know if Marcos upped their desire to get/retain customers or tonight's feast for all of us was because of the staff on hand, if so pleeeese Marco's of Stow figure out how to keep this going.!!! read more

Every single time I order white sauce on a pizza they do not put white sauce on the pizza. Today was an awful experience as I talked to the manager. I was specifically told that it would be ok. They lied! It was not! My kids loved Marco's when we lived in Willoughby. Now we just hate it. This has been a repeat problem. I order every few months since I moved here one year ago. Not once have they gotten the order right. Today we tried again since the school had a fundraiser with them. We also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, thinking that would be hard to mess up. They put pizza sauce in the BBQ resulting in a tangy vomit flavor. It was uniquely horrible! read more

On our never-ending search for a great pizza place, we recently decided to try Marco's. We ordered a large double pepperoni with the garlic butter crust and an order of chicken poppers. The pizza was actually pretty good. I liked the garlic taste on the crust, but was not a fan of the butter, since pizza is already pretty greasy. Otherwise, super yummy. It seemed really small to me, though.. especially for the $13 price tag. I don't know if that's normal around here or what, but it seems like every time I order a pizza it's way smaller than I'm used to. The chicken poppers were basically chicken nuggets with a bunch of Italian seasoning and weren't worth the $4 we paid for them. So.. Marco's is good.. we'll probably order from them again some time, but it is not going to be our go-to. read more

Stopped in here to do a pick up and was surrounded by nothing but teenagers, so maybe my lack of a fifth star is ...misplaced? The young guy who was cashier turned around toward another female staff member and said " What the hell is that? You call those bread sticks!" while I was leaving. I'm not sure if he was joking or not but I certainly hope he was. Otherwise, the food, as always, was awesome! read more

I LOVE pizza and I really enjoy the non-huge chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut. This place is my favorite place to get pizza in Akron. The cheese breadsticks are also delicious. They have 1 table where you can eat inside, so it's best to order carry-out or delivery. read more

These people are below average intelligence Try to rip you off Argue with you about specials posted on the menu board in the store! Had enough of them I do not have the time to teach basic common sense ! The special reads add any pizza for 9.95 (Equal or lesser value ) I order a pepperoni and sausage and a specialty pizza. Simple right well they say they can't honor the "2nd" pizza because it's a "specialty" What does it matter what order I say my pizza's in? Is it the darn important that you have to say the specialty pizza 1st? Common sense would be to just charge for the specialty pizza the charge me for the pepperoni and sausage at 9.95 right? Well if I have to teach them basic common sense and argue over it I will just find me a new shop! read more

I'm a fan of Marco's pizza, but the Marco's pizza in Stow, OH, is not deserving of their good name. I ordered a pizza about 6 months ago and it was WAY too overdone with very little sauce. The pizza I ordered today was cooked properly, but it had lots of big areas missing cheese and very little sauce again. A real shame. Hopefully Marco's is still good elsewhere.
