The restaurant is located inside a hotel and does offer reasonably priced valet service. The restaurant itself is gorgeous! Beautiful on a sunny day. Outside dining tables have a partial view of the beach. There was also a live DJ playing upbeat music. Not too loud so you can still comfortably talk. Food wise, everything was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I ordered the pancakes and chicken and loved it. The butter with it was incredible! I also tried a bite of the steak and eggs. This dish was also yummy! We ordered the yellowtail crudo, which looked pretty different from the photos we had seen on Yelp. It was just okay too lacked flavor, the sauce it laid in did nothing for it, but the portion felt really small & very underwhelming. We also split the smoked salmon Benedict, which was good in flavor, but again, the portion just wasn't enough. We literally got TWO potatoes. Like where are the rest of them?! & the side salad looked like a half-eaten, sad little salad lol. By the end of the meal, we were both still hungry. We just didn't want to order anything else because of how expensive everything was, especially when we didn't feel full from what we had already ordered. Later, we also got some shots upstairs at the bar, which were around $24-$25 each. So definitely be prepared to spend! I'd recommend ordering your own meal rather than sharing if you want to leave feeling more satisfied. Though Marelle is beautiful and has a fun vibe, overall it was just a miss. Most of the food we got was extremely salty, including the Crudo and the sea bream. The "jumbo" crab cake was extremely tiny. The dishes all also had too many flavors that didn't pair well together. For instance, the seam bream was topped with overpowering bacon and raisins? Odd pairing. The Cauliflower steak was decent, but had a weird paste-tasting puree with it. For what you are paying, it just isn't worth it. We left everything unfinished. The fries were foo. But the food kept coming out late, especially the appetizer and dessert which takes less time of course than the entrée. I told my server I can't have mint and mint was on my food twice. I've been wanting to dry more hotel restaurants/ bars lately and my girlfriend recommended we try this place cause she'd seen the drinks looked good on social media. We came on a Tuesday night so honestly it was super super dead but the vibes are so cute, almost like a Tulum vibe and it's very spacious and comfortable inside. You enter by going downstairs near the back of the hotel. We got about 5-6 drinks split between the 3 of us. Came with a friend for the first day of DineLA and specifically said we were here for the DineLA lunch to the maître d'. He gave us the Chef's prix fixe menu also $35. We assumed it was the DineLA menu and ordered the shrimp toast (ok), Caesar salad (delicious and refreshing!), salmon tostada which was beautifully plated, but looked more like a taco - still good, but we had expected a tostada, and mini pastry trio (they were ok). We overheard the couple behind us ask for the DineLA menu, but was told by their server it didn't start until tmrw. They decided to order from the menu rather than the Chef's prix fixe. That's when we compared menus and saw the difference (see attached). The DineLA menu had short rib tacos but no salad, crab cakes, a steak sandwich and apple turnover for dessert. It was a better menu also $35. The server explained that the restaurant thought the DineLA started tmrw and wasn't ready with the items today. The DineLA menu clearly said daily and dates were promoted. Well, too late now. We sat on the patio to catch a glimpse of the ocean on this beautiful day. Dessert was served while I was still working on the entree, the check came before I touched the dessert, and when I turned to the dessert, it was not what I had ordered - instead of Apple Turnover, I was looking at some sort of brownie.
