Margarita's is a place we have always enjoyed. Always have a great meal when we eat in. Placing a to go order is always a challenge. They transfer you to the Bar where they may or may not answer. I never seem to get everything I order. Always check before you leave, last week I didn't get the Margarita dip I ordered. When I returned the bartender didn't seem to believe me when I said I didn't get the cheese. Not sure why I would drive there and return after already being home to return for cheese if I didn't have to. read more

Had an excellent meal at Margaritas tonight. Chips were perfectly crispy and thin and their salsa and queso was so tasty. I also loved the cheese enchiladas and the mushroom fajitas. They had tons of vegetarian and gluten free options that were labeled on the menu. Service was quick and even though it was very busy we were seated within 15 minutes. They also had a ton of different margarita options, oddly enough the old fashion blended margarita was one of my favorites. Will definitely be returning soon! read more

This was one of the worst Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. I can't even blame it on being takeout. The Mexican rice, not Mexican rice had a weird taste and it reminded me of rife that they just stirred tomato paste in after the rice was cooked. The beans are probably canned beans that was the taste and texture. My shredded beef enchiladas had something hard in it when I bit down. What a waste of money. read more

I live a half of mile from here, been coming here forever. It's slowly declined into a disgusting tourist trap! Last night was the final straw. I'm sorry to the few helpful employees, but the manager and the other incompetent staff need to go. The second we moved from the bar to table it was bad. 25 minutes for a drink, if she remembered it. Wrong food orders, having to get up and remind them about a child's order that was placed 45 minutes prior. Mahi Mahi tacos smelled bad the minute they were placed in front of me. Like spoiled fish. Also way overcooked! Manager came by but did nothing to make experience better. Was just upset that it looks bad on his end. By the way, it was a Wednesday night that was not busy at all.. We went to Margarita's for dinner for the first time with our daughter and son in law who were visiting from Marquette, MI. It was fantastic food, the service we had was a band new waitress. You could tell she was nervous, she was so timid but kind. We are not sure exactly what happened, but my husbands food was delivered to the table first, he wasn't sure what to do, since the three of us didn't get out food, we encouraged him to eat his dinner while it was still hot. So he did, we were sure ours would be out shortly. So he ate for the next 20 or so minutes, and we waited for our meals. The waitress didn't come back to the table at all, my husband was trying to raise his hand for assistance, and then went up to the hostess stand, where he encountered Carma....a very friendly attentive hostess. she made a call to the manager promptly. The manager came to our table, and my husband said,his food was fabulous, but not sure if there is a mistake, the rest of us never got our meals. While the Manager who was super nice, and very kind, went to personally get the three meals. Carma from the hostess stand while she was not busy, came over to talk with us to smooth things over. We were not upset at all, and assured her that we would be coming back, and this wouldn't affect our review at all, I am a beginning blogger, and post about everything. She came to our table two more times, while we were eating to check on us, to help the new waitress. Carma and the manager and the new waitress who apologized twice, were a very well run and trained crew, we felt very welcome, cared for, and the food was so so so delicious, I cannot wait to try them again. I recently visited the restaurant, called in a to go Oder, 4 wait staff standing together chatting no other customers were near, I had to said I'm here for a Togo order, bartender came took my card, laughed as he told me i charged your card for someone's else's order but refunded it, it will take 7 to 10 business days to be back in your account, I didn't think i understood what he was saying because he laughed the entire time, he goes I'm training a new hire, ok this is unacceptable, I understand stand people have to be trained but please don't do it at my expense and not give a genuine apology, I will not be going back, value me as you would your own Family, still waiting to see if the funds are returned to my account, poor experience read more

Chips and salsa were great! Daughter ordered fajitas, I tried her steak-- was great! We had the special margarita burrito which I really like-- both shredded beef and cubed pork. The only "issue" was the rice was a little bland, but I added some salsa to it and YUM. Oh, and the raspberry blended margarita was super good! 22 oz for $9.50- great deal and so tasty! Always had great meals and great service at this restaurant. The place is very festive and clean, barroom is well stocked and has a number of tv's to watch on any game day. I have had especially good luck catering some business meetings. They are very accommodating and have came through with meals that everyone enjoys. Never have had even a small problem with quality, quantity or packaging of my to-go foods. And every time I've eaten in the restaurant, i have been equally happy with my meal. I have been a loyal customers since Margaritas opened. I will never be back after tonight. I understand things happen and it's a Friday night. More than 45 minutes after placing our order and had still not received our meal, we let our server know we had somewhere to be and had to leave. She said she would have our meals boxed up. After another 10 minutes and no orders we again told her we had to leave and there was zero urgency. He manager finally brought our order and there was zero attempt to rectify our horrible experience. It started with "fine let me have it", and then multiple excuses and he clearly did not care. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurant in town I will patronize going forward. Popular restaurant. Very busy, we were there when there was a high school dance, probably homecoming, so it might have been busier than usual. We waited about 25 minutes for a table but didn't mind since the reviews looked good. Our server was friendly and checked on us often even though the place was busy. The food unfortunately was not good at all, very bland, maybe salt and pepper were used but not much else. Fajitas seemed more like they had been steamed, the peppers and onions were watery. But the portion was very large. It was so bland though we could not eat much of it. This food was missing spices, some chili powder, cumin, garlic, something with flavor. The Mystic Marvel drink came with a half full glass for a full price drink. Very disappointing for the price. We also had 2 margaritas and those were good and full drinks, the only reason to come here seemed to be the nice staff and the margarita. This spot is an always busy and super popular Mexican restaurant near the Packer Stadium. Not a good idea to go on game days or even home game weekends- you will likely be waiting forever. During the off season, you can get in and out in less than an hour. Food is served extremely quickly after you order and is hot and delicious! Came here while waiting for my boyfriends new phone at the Cellcom right down the street. We came on a Thursday around 4:30 and it was a lot busier than I expected. Our server was good and the food was good as well. The nice was a little different than other Mexican rice in the area and was pretty good. We ate here last night for the first time and had a great meal. We were going to go somewhere else, but then my amazing spouse found out that they had two types of vegetable fajitas and this was too tough to pass up! We got both types as a combo and they didn't disappoint. Very hot, fresh and with some oil, but not too oily (which happens too often with veggie fajitas). The portabellas were grilled perfectly, which is more difficult to do than it might seem on first glance. They exceeded our expectations in both quality and quantity. It's a real feast. The fajitas came with generous sides, which filled a platter of its own: pico de gallo, fresh shredded cheese (two types), black beans, refried beans, sour cream and lettuce. As a bonus, they came with four tortillas each. (Usually, you'll get three at most other places). Decor is pleasant: it's a large and clean place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly and great: she checked on us often and went out of her way to make sure that we were happy.
