Do not send your loved one to this place. It is horrible. My family member went there after…read moresurgery and lays in his room with absolutely no one checking on him. He calls and calls for someone to bring his prescribed medication but gets no response. Absolutely criminal how he's been treated. He calls for help and a CNA will come turn off his call light a d do nothing. He lays there in agony with no help well past 7 hours between prescribed pain medication is brought in, or not given to him at all. Not exactly how a surgery patient should be treated and not conducive to healing. This place should be closed down.

ONLY send someone here if you don't care about them being NEGLECTED! My grandma got moved to this…read morefacility, it didn't even take 24 hours before we were having terrible regrets about ever moving her here. The first morning there, she was sitting in her dirty diaper from the night before till almost 12 in the afternoon. Multiple times she has been left in her mess like that for over 17 hours because the staff and nurses would not do anything to help her, even with us requesting it. Multiple staff members told me that they were absolutely not going to change her diaper or take her to the bathroom more than twice a day, and if she does get changed, then she must be in bed the rest of the day since they don't want to have to deal with that again. They do not have enough staff at all. The ratio is 1 nurse and 1 staff member-to-45 patients that need consistent care. That is absolutely insane, and if they were that short staffed, they should NOT have just accepted her. The risk of infection and bed sores is extremely likely at this place. The staff was not helpful and were very rude to the patients and us family members. Also the food looked and smelled horrific, it looked more like prison food. I would never send your loved one here. The director of this facility also completely agreed to the fact that they are extremely understaffed and are neglecting their patients. The director also admitted to continuing to accept more patients even though they don't even have enough staff members/nurses for the patients that are currently there, yet continue to accept more patients that are just getting neglected, and admitted that they just keep taking more patients because they "have bills to pay". So in other words, taking advantage and money from these people in need of help, and allowing them to all get neglected. HORRIBLE FACILITY!! Do your research before sending anyone here, or anywhere, because the owner of this business has bought 7 other locations in Missouri and are all ran terribly just like this location. Good luck to everyone and I really really hope nobody else has to deal with this horrible experience my grandma has to go through and us family members who are desperate to get these people helped and saved from this nursing home.

Used this facility for my father when his Alzheimer's started to progress. They have 3 units based…read moreon their needs. Level 1 I would rate 4.5 stars. My father was still high functioning. He participated in a lot of the activities. Level 2 I would give 3.9 stars. When my father was moved to this unit I realized they don't have enough staff to keep the residents engaged. It's at this level that each resident needs more care but there isn't enough staff to deliver that care. This unit is locked so residents don't wander the facility. Level 3 is downstairs and is a little chaotic. I give this unit 3.1 stars. Not enough care for the needs of every resident exists in this unit too. When you take the tour I recommend spending 15 minutes within each unit so you get the feel for the level of care each resident receives. I do like the level of security they have in place and how clean they keep every room.
