I ended up chatting with the owners - great chat. I ordered a Premium Bowl. My selections include one of the following: Greek Chicken Kabobs, Lamb Kabobs, Steak Kabobs, Cajun Jumbo Shrimp, or Salmon Filet. I was going to get Salmon but decided on the Lamb Kabobs instead. Before I ordered, they informed me that it was being made fresh so the wait would be 10 minutes. I had the time and decided I would eat in at one of their tables. I had them add some additional carbs to my bowl - rice, black beans and sweet potato, and some veggies - carrots, cucumber, avocado, and pineapple salsa on the side, which turned out to be delicious, although I still miss the mango version. My dish was full of colors - healthy stuff, and I couldn't wait to dig in. I have always enjoyed the dishes I have had there and can't wait to go back. Before I left, I decided to order a few of their frozen meals to go. Directions on how to thaw them were on each package. They have a meal subscription service, and I feel this is a great way to test the waters first. I'll share my thoughts on the ones I tried - that will be a future review. While most drivers are very nice and show up on time, maybe one in twenty gets lost and winds up being late. My main complaint and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that one out of a dozens orders always has one or more items missing. And while it is not the drivers fault it still can be quite annoying. Also sometimes with ordering things you need only to find out later that peapod is out of that item or items and you have to buy it elsewhere. There Customer service is good at giving you credit for lost or damaged items but can take a long time to get them to pick up at times. Over all they are a good service but not perfect [who is?] They were very useful during COVID and without them it would have been SO much worse. One last note, I always tip the driver. I suggest you do the same they are hard working people and a $5 or $10 tip goes a long way in your future orders being better. People who do this for a living have long memories and a cash tip is the best way to tell your driver, thanks for your effort and they will most likely go out of the way for you next time. So if you need help getting groceries give them a try.

The rep, Janet, advised me my order is scheduled for delivery between 5:40-6:45, really. They also finally updated the order status update info on their website which continued to state 11-1 until 4:20. I requested a cancellation, a full refund and a confirmation E-Mail and still got nothing. Clearly they are unprofessional, understaffed, and run a terrible operation. They ruined my entire day and I won't use them again.

The food is farm to table and always arrive in neatly packaged containers every Sunday evening so we have dinners stocked to enjoy the following week. I have had meal services with others before and this is by far the most skilled cooking of farm to table meals. I think it's a good value. One recent review I read was really not fair about "scam". That's just not true but I understand the frustration that led to a misunderstanding. I know the owner/chef was busy and working to try improve their marketing, ordering app, and communications. It's a small business so you just have to contact her directly if there is an issue and she will take care of it. I did that every time and I was patient because I want this good cooking to last to feed my family. Seems like great people. I've spoken to her and met the staff who deliver food to my house. I made a mistake of signing up for 4 weeks of meal delivery, and now I am out of hundreds of dollars. The first delivery was 2 days late and required multiple attempts to contact the merchant to get the ordered meals. Week 2 meals were delivered but be aware, if you happen to be in the shower when they show up with your delivery, they won't leave your meals on your secure porch and will just drive away with your order. Week 3- NO DELIVERY, NO CALL, NO EMAIL. Again, I had too contact the merchant to try to figure out where was my food. Days later got a response that they had an issue with their refrigerator and simply neglected to let me know!!! With over a thousand dollars already tied up with this merchant, I had to scramble to purchase food for my family elsewhere. Due to the "NO CALL NO SHOW" for the week 3 delivery, I politely asked the chef to immediately refund me for the remaining 2 weeks worth of food that wasn't delivered. I explained that because they failed to honor their contract, I had to make other arrangements for the meals. The merchant NEVER REFUNDED me for the remaining 2 WEEKS worth of food that they NEVER DELIVEREDA. I ended up having to contact my credit card company, and guess what? The merchant is lying to my credit card company, claiming they delivered all 4 weeks worth of meals! I am reaching out to the Office of the Attorney General and filing a fraud complaint next. The chocolate cake tasted like boxed devils food. We've had Guy Burgers on cruise ships in the past so we had high hopes. This was trash. Never again. Deserves 0 stars. This place wouldn't last a week if it were permanent.
